Chapter 13
I think you would look hot… her favourite son-in-law… I miss you… Love…
Blaine’s face fell as he was reading the email again. And again. He looked at Kurt, who was still sleeping peacefully, and silently left the room. On the outside he was as calm and confident as always so if anybody had seen him, they would have never been able to tell what was happening in his head.
“How could you expect him to be single?”
“Well, he said he had never had a girlfriend…”
“Yes, but he had a boyfriend!”
“Maybe he is not Kurt’s boyfriend…”
“Have we read the same email?”
“Did it say, ‘dear, boyfriend, can we fuck when you come back to the states?’ No, it did not.”
“’Love’, it said ‘love.’ That means more than a fuck.”
“Come on, it’s like ‘best wishes’, just a bit more personal. They can be best friends.”
“Finn is his best friend.”
“I’m sure they use ‘love’ instead of ‘best wishes’ as well.”
“Why am I thinking about this anyway? I can’t date Kurt anyway.”
“Who told you that?”
“You know well enough that if a supervisor starts dating his ‘white’, they always end up hurt. They break up, it’s awkward and that ‘white’ is as good as ‘yellow’ during the sorting. It never goes well.”
“You could the ones who change that.”
“And then what? What kind of relationship would it be? I’ll be going to missions as I used to, after a while he would start doing the same. We would barely see each other. We would worry all the time… ”
“You are overthinking this.”
“You are not helping either.”
“Don’t get angry at me, I’m your sane side, it’s you who are crazy.”
“But somehow you sound like Jeff.”
“Jeff is smart.”
“Whatever, I’m going to act as if nothing happened. Just like yesterday, or a week ago, or a month ago.”
“So, we are going to jerk off tonight at the thought of Kurt all sweaty earlier today?”
“Yes.”
“Sweet…”
<~*~>
Kurt woke up at around three in the morning. He scolded himself for falling asleep and checked the phone. The light blinded him and it took a while to get used to it. He read a few texts and checked who called him while he was asleep. He must have been sleeping really well because he didn’t hear a sound.
The phone screen lit the room enough for him to see that Sebastian was not in his bed. But the bed looked like nobody had slept there. Kurt smirked – Sebastian must be having some fun tonight. Knowing that he won’t fall asleep again because of how long he had slept already, he stood up and went to the bathroom. Once he was back, he went to check the email and see if his parents were online.
He found one email from James and read it. It was adorable – he liked James’ mother even though he had seen her only once. He quickly answered the email, saying he would come back for Christmas and he would love to see him. He sent it and checked skype. His parents were online. He quickly called them.
“Carole, is this working? Kurt, do you hear me?” Kurt heard Burt asking.
“Yes, I can hear you,” he giggled. Burt wasn’t very good at computers. “How are you doing?”
“Kurt? Why aren’t you saying anything? Can you hear me?”
“Burt, sweetie, you need to turn the sound on,” Carole said and her voice came closer. “Here, like that.”
“Still no luck with computer, dad?” Kurt laughed.
“It’s like a machine from hell. I just can’t figure it out,” Burt said angrily.
“At least you know how to answer already,” he laughed. It really took a while. “Anyway, how are you two doing?”
“Pretty well, missing you a lot,” Carole said smiling. She was sitting on the armchair while Burt was standing next to her.
“When are you coming back?”
“Christmas. I can’t wait, I miss you a lot. By the way, I talked to Finn today. He is in Bulgaria, heading to Macedonia in five days. He sounds really happy.”
One tear ran down Carole’s cheek and Burt caught it. “Hey, don’t cry… They will be back in no time; you won’t even notice it.”
“I’m just happy that our sons are doing so great,” she smiled sadly. “I’m proud of both of you.”
“So am I, Kurt,” Burt nodded, placing both hands on Carole’s shoulder.
“I love you,” Kurt said and smiled at the sight. His parents were really happy, he couldn’t have ever asked for a better woman for his dad.
“We love you too,” Carole assured. “It’s really late now, you should go to sleep.”
“Yeah, you’re probably right. My roommate is not here so I wanted to use this opportunity,” he smiled. He wasn’t sleepy of course but didn’t want to make his parents suspicious as of why he wasn’t sleeping so late. “I will skype with you soon. Goodnight.”
“Sleep well.”
<~*~>
Kurt spent the rest of the night studying for a class where they would have to make cocktails. Unfortunately they had to memorise all thirty different recipes. Like they were always told: ‘as an agent you never know what you may need to do.’ Sometimes it was irritating. He was sure he would never need half of that but Blaine and the others assured that even the strangest skills are very useful. Hence, he took his classes seriously.
Sebastian didn’t come back to the room and Kurt made a note to annoy him until he tells him who he spent the night with. With that though the boy left and went to the cafeteria. He chose his breakfast carefully – a glass of lemon juice and fruit salad.
“You should eat more,” someone said and he saw Noah standing behind him. He hadn’t seen Noah or Dave for a while because they both had left shortly after the encounter with Blaine. “It’s not about losing weight. Your supervisor should tell you that you need some fuel to build muscles. You don’t want to collapse, do you?”
Kurt eyed the boy. They had never talked, let alone in a friendly manner. It was odd but maybe he was just afraid of Blaine.
“Here, take a bun at least,” he said and put one warm bun on his tray. “See you later.”
Noah left and Kurt stood there for a moment trying to process what had just happened. He spanned from the thoughts as soon as someone placed a hand on his back.
“Are you alright, Kurt?” a gentle voice asked. Kurt felt butterflies in his stomach.
“Yes, I’m fine,” he said and moved to find a table. “I’m sorry I didn’t answer your texts or calls, I fell asleep.”
“I figured,” Blaine laughed. They both sat down; it was early so there weren’t many people.
“So… What are you planning to teach me during our personal class?” Kurt asked. Every day they had a three hour class with their supervisors. The supervisors had to teach them what they thought was useful or what they were not good at.
“I’ve been thinking billiard,” Blaine asked.
“The game?” Kurt asked confused.
“Yes, it’s useful in some bars. People tend to talk more while playing. They are usually so into the game that they don’t think of what they are saying. Or sometimes you could have a bet that if you win they have to give you information you need. Overall, useful,” he explained and started eating his breakfast, less healthy than Kurt’s salad.
Kurt took a bite of a bun. “It sounds fun.”
<~*~>
The day went slowly. Kurt did quite well in the class about cocktails. He made twenty three correctly and only Sebastian managed to do better. Sebastian whose lips were sealed. It annoyed Kurt; he really wanted to know what Sebastian was hiding. But all these thoughts left his head once he went into the room where Blaine had told him to wait for him. It wasn’t a big room and had only one billiard table. Once again he questioned the C.A.T. – wouldn’t it be easier to have a big room full of those game tables so that more people could practice at the same time. He asked the same thing when Blaine came.
“Well, there is such room but I thought you would feel better if it was only us. Because usually people there are already professionals and you need to learn the basics,” he explained and put the balls into the right order. Kurt wished Blaine’s hands touched other balls. He blushed at the thought. “Are you alright, Kurt?”
“Yeah. So show me what to do,” he said and they started.
After two hours he was getting much better. Blaine even told him he was ‘quite not bad’. Kurt only smirked and bent over the table trying to aim at the last ball.
“Wait, it’s not a right angle,” Blaine said and stood behind him. Kurt gulped audibly; Blaine’s body was all over him and he couldn’t focus on what the other boy was telling him. Just on an instinct Kurt rolled his hips slightly and Blaine froze. Through a thin fabric he could feel Blaine getting hard. They both let go of the billiard stick and Blaine was about to step away but Kurt was faster. Knowing that Blaine would probably walk away he placed his hands on the boy’s hips and pressed himself hard into him. Lust took over because in his right mind Kurt would have never taken such risk. But Blaine getting even harder behind him was an indication that he was doing something right. He rolled his hips again, increasing the pressure. A single moan left Blaine’s mouth.
Kurt couldn’t understand what was happening when Blaine turned him around and grabbed his ass. He jumped in surprise but it only helped Blaine, who raised him from the floor and lay on the table, climbing on top of him. Kurt saw his darkened eyes and wanted nothing more but to kiss him.
“Can I?” Blaine asked leaning closer. Kurt didn’t know what exactly he was agreeing to but nodded.
Blaine settled between his legs and lowered himself, their pelvises perfectly aligned. Kurt couldn’t help it but place his hands on Blaine’s ass and buck his hips up. They both moaned but Blaine silenced Kurt quickly by shoving his tongue inside the heat of Kurt’s mouth. They rocked together for a few moments, never breaking a kiss, admiring the sounds the other one was making and suddenly it stopped. Kurt whined but he didn’t care how pathetic it sounded. He needed friction, he needed Blaine and his strong arms.
“We can’t do it, Kurt. I’m sorry,” Blaine said and stood up. He offered his hand to Kurt to help him but the other boy didn’t take it; he stood up as well confused.
“Why?” he asked shocked. First he was shocked that they were making out, now he was shocked that it all stopped so suddenly. Especially when they were both hard. Blaine was simply standing there not looking at him, trying to compose himself. When he didn’t say anything Kurt spoke again. “Okay, let’s be adults here. Tell me you don’t like me that way and it was just hormones, and I will back off.”
Blaine turned around, a guilty look on his face. “I’m sorry, Kurt. You are a great friend but I don’t… have feelings for you.”
For the first time in his life it actually hurt to be lying.

I'm thinking that maybe they just need to love each other. Cuz' Kurt doesn't need a 'James' he needs a 'Blaine' his Blaine, and they're so perfect together so....*sits and waits, humming to a simple plan song*
