Author's Notes: for a future reference, this story is broken down into parts, not so much chapters. so, sorry if they're really short (like this one)! I originally made it to be on tumblr but no one read it so I wanted to put it on here :)

Kurt was finally able to sit down after a busy morning of running around to every floor, getting the room service orders to each room, when his manager calls his name.

"Hummel! Room service, 3rd floor, room 321." And why couldn't anyone else working do that?

It never ends...Kurt thought as he sighs, standing back up and putting his uniform-issued hat back on. He wished for the 100th time that day he picked a different summer job. But being a thriving college student, he needed something. At least it pays well; after all, it IS the nicest, 5 star hotel in New York City.

"Here," one of the other servers grunted as they handed the large tray to Kurt. He thanked them and was off to delivery the tray to whoever this hotel patron may be.

As Kurt got into the elevator, all he could think about was why this person got such a large amount of food, and who the hell ordered lunch food at 10:30 in the morning?! Getting annoyed, he couldn't wait to finally drop this off at room 321. As he stepped off the elevator and went down the hall, his hat loosened and slipped over his eyes.

Awesome. Kurt thought sarcastically. He couldn't exactly hold the tray with one hand, so he blindly made his way down the hall towards where he estimates Room 321 is. His stubbornness getting the best of him, he leans the tray against the wall and holds the bottom with one hand, trying to fix his hat with the other. As he carefully puts his hand back under the tray and makes his way over to 321, Kurt starts to lose his grip.

Shit. No no no no—Kurt was about to (well TRY to) knock on the door when it suddenly opened, causing him to stumble into whoever opened it, tray in hand. The young man on the other side managed to grab the tray and Kurt in time before anything went bad.

"Oh my God, thank you. My boss would've KILLED me if I had to go back down and get another tray!" Kurt exclaimed, taking a few breaths as he composes himself again. Finally, he looks up at the mystery man who saved the tray and Kurt from falling. Holy shit, was all Kurt thought, sucking in his breath silently.

"It's no problem," the man smiled, a gorgeous toothy smile. "And sorry if this was a lot to carry up. I got really hungry and my parents wanted me to have lunch waiting for them when they got back from their meetings." He added with an eye roll. The curly-haired man put the tray over onto a small table near the door, then goes back over to the door, smiling at Kurt again. "So thank you...?"

"Uh—Kurt. And no need to thank me, it's my job," Kurt chuckled a little, putting out his hand for the man to shake. Kurt took note in the fact that this man looked around his age, and had the most amazing, green-hazel eyes he has ever seen. They had flecks of amber and they sparkled, even under the dull florescent hotel lights.

"Ah, Kurt. Well thank you no matter what. I'm Blaine, by the way," Blaine smiles again, getting a tip out of his pocket. He hands Kurt the money, who quickly puts it in his pocket.

"Thank you, Blaine. And it's nice to meet you." Kurt could say his name forever. Blaine. Although Kurt just met this handsome, dark-haired man, he was indeed smitten. He wished he didn't have to go back down, because otherwise he'd stay and talk to Blaine all day.

"You too. So maybe I'll see you around? I mean, obviously you're busy and all with working, but I'm here for another two weeks if you're still working at that time..." Blaine trails off, rubbing the back of his neck nervously.

Was he getting nervous talking to Kurt? Or he could be trying to just be nice. Kurt can't tell right now, though he's hoping Blaine is at least gay. That's always a plus.

"Oh, uh yeah definitely. I am pretty busy, but my boss does let me off my leash every now and then." Kurt chuckles lightly, trying to make Blaine smile again. His smile was beyond wonderful.

"Well good, then I look forward to running into you again. But next time, not literally." Blaine laughs lightly, a sound Kurt can get used to hearing forever. Kurt laughed too, smiling again. His laugh, his smile...Kurt has never fallen this fast before.

"Yeah I'll work on that. Enjoy your meal, see you around," Kurt waved as they said goodbye, turning around to head back to the elevators. He couldn't keep the smile off his face as he floated back to work, his head in the clouds.

Blaine shuts the door, smiling to himself as he brought the tray to the table. Who knew he'd meet a beautiful, amazing, charming man in a business trip his parents forced him to go on? Blaine is sure Kurt is gay, not because of his cute, angelic voice, but because...well, he can just tell.

After eating the food he ordered, he decided to finally get changed and go explore the hotel. And by "explore the hotel," he's hoping to run into a certain room server again. No, that isn't stalking, not if their second meeting is just as spontaneous as the first one. Blaine just wants to get to know Kurt more, that's all.

"He had the cutest laugh, Rachel, I almost melted into a puddle of goo," Kurt gushed to his best friend as they sat outside for their lunch break. He could not stop smiling for the life of him, especially every time he thinks of those golden-amber eyes.

"Aww, somebody has a crush," Rachel giggles, eating some of her sandwich. "He sounds like a great guy though, it's too bad you didn't get to talk to him more."

"Yeah, I know. But I do know his room number, so..." Kurt looks at her with a smirk, joking around of course. He isn't even 100% sure Blaine is gay, so he won't be making any surprise visits any time soon.

"Creeper," Rachel smiled. She played with her wavy brown hair as she looked around at the people walking in and out of the hotel. "I wish I could just knock on a guest's door and it turns out to be the love of my life."

"He isn't 'the love of my life,'" Kurt laughs a little with an eye roll. "Not yet at least. He has definite potential though. I only have two weeks to woo him, and then he's gone. Maybe we can at least become friends, that's always something. But I don't even know if he's gay."

"Oh please, if he was all cute and shy about asking to see you again, he had to have SOME interest in you," Rachel retorted, looking at Kurt pointedly. "Just get to know him, there's no harm in that."

"True. And who knows, maybe room 321 will need service again..." he smiles dreamily, thinking about Blaine and what they could become. Maybe this job wasn't so bad after all.

End Notes: hope you liked the first part, I promise there will be more Klaine interactions soon! and eventually I miiight up the rating to M, but I'm not sure yet. we'll see;)please give me feedback, because I won't continue if this story/story idea sucks xDps: yes i purposely made Blaine's room "321" for a reason;) 21 IS an important number for us klainers haha :P

I definitely like this idea! It's a bit better and different than the remakes of soul-mates written on your body and werewolf ideas-they're not bad but it gets tiring. So keep writing it- it's a unique story plot!

aw thank you! and yeah i know what you mean..i just randomly had an idea of "oh lets make kurt a hotel server person and blaine's the one who's at the door" and what not. I already have 4 other parts written out so this weekend (since i'll have more time) i'll put them up:) also, im basing it off ideas from the show too. not exact, but they both will talk about things that actually happened/mentioned on Glee. but yeah thats really it though:)

This is so cute, i like it ;w; <3
