He doesn't pick up. My rational thought is that he must have forgotten it. Oh why did he forget it? I need to find him. Where could he be.
Where would I even start to look? I'm surrounded my people.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I'm surrounded by people. A couple walks by me holding hands. I'm insanely jealous. Where is my Blaine? Why did I have to loose him. Blaine! I feel like yelling at the top of my lungs. Please Blaine! I need you.
It's cold and I want my Blaine. I want him right now, right here. I take a left on the field as fire trucks whizzs past me. It must be a huge fire if they need 6 trucks. I stop and watch as they move, jumping off the truck and charging in. It looks like a fast contemporary dance. I would watch more if I wasn't so worried.
What if he's not looking for me? Maybe I should calm down. And just wait for all the to calm down and be over with. I'll just wait out the night and see him tomorrow. I reach in my pocket for the time. My phone? Shit! Where did I leave it? In the room? Fuck, I must have. Damn it. Blaine has probably called 3 billion times. Or has he? Again, what if he's not looking for me? What if he's being completely rational about all this.
I cross the entrance statue and stand on a semi-hill rounded ground, that is steep and wold and look for Blaine. I look out, many have taken refugee at trees and are huddled together to keep warm.
“Get in here!” Wes screams at me. “Huddle around. It's freezing. C'mon Blaine. Don't be stupid.”
“You don't understand.” I almost yell. He doesn't understand how important Kurt is to me. “I have to find him!”
“Fine.” Wes huddles closer to David, Jeff and Eric. They all seem to be keeping warm nicely. “Good luck, we'll be here if you find him.” Wes says.
“When I find him. Wes, I will find him.” I don't know why I'm getting so angry.
“Of course you'll find him. Tomorrow, at lunch.” Wes laughs.
Shut up. I love Wes but boy, is he intensive. I'm on the verge of crying and he's making jokes. I love Kurt more than myself. I have to find him.
I feel like I'm walking in circles. Another group of firefighters enter the building. Then a fleet of ambulances drive in. They set themselves up and prepare outside. Is someone hurt? Why are they here? Could it be Kurt? No!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Someone must be injured. There wouldn't be this many ambulances. It better not be Blaine. Oh god! What if it is Blaine? I can't think. I physically hold my self together and breath. No! Blaine must be okay. He must be.
Why am I freaking out so much? Everything should – is fine. This will all blow over tomorrow. Everything is fine.
Just then, I'm falling. I reach with my leg, arm, anything. I'm sliding past people, even knocking some over. The ground is cold and my back goes numb. I try to look forward when.......
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Everything is not fine! I want Kurt. I need him. I need a hug. I need a kiss. I need him. Just then I hear screaming. Someone is hurt. A crowd begins to form. It follows two paramedics with a body on a gurney. Who? What? I can't think.
Please don't be Kurt.
