Kurt kept giving soft giggles to himself, but Blaine pulled his hand away from Kurt’s and he tried to make his pouting noticeable.

“It’s very nice to meet you, Blaine!” Rachel said in a very happy voice. Kurt stared at her for a second, trying to figure out exactly what she was up to. Then he looked back at Blaine, waiting for the beautiful beach blonde Barbie doll to come running down the beach with her breasts half way out her top. He knew Blaine was straight, it wasn’t hard to see. He was as straight as a pole, or…other things when they were hard. “So, how long have you been a lifeguard?” Blaine smiled a bit, and he glanced out at the water for a few seconds.

“Two years. I fell in love with this place on a family vacation when I was seventeen. When I turned eighteen, I packed up my bags and headed here. Believe me, it wasn’t my first choice in career, but I wanted to be on Broadway really badly. It… didn’t work out. My father wanted me to go into something practical, like a lawyer or a doctor, something that paid well. I did try out for Juliard though… I was rejected and it left me broken. So like I said previously, I packed up my bags and moved here, starting my career last summer as a lifeguard.” Kurt smiled a bit to himself at the story, seeing he could relate to the entire Broadway franchise not really working out. Rachel beamed and nudged Kurt with her elbow.

“Same thing happened to Kurt here. He tried out for NYADA along with me, me choking on my audition, but Kurt did fantastic on his audition. I got a second chance after…persistent begging,” Blaine let out a soft laugh. “But… I ended up getting in and…Kurt didn’t.”

“Thanks for reminding me.” Kurt hissed under his breath, looking down at his feet.

“So the entire Broadway thing didn’t work out for you either, huh? So what brought you down her to Jersey?” Blaine asked, leaning against the lifeguard stand. Kurt swallowed a bit, because god if Blaine looked great before just standing he looked like a fucking sex god leaning against that stand.

“I-I’m a… a uh… baker. I’m opening a bakery.” He stammered, trying to pull his eyes off of his body (is he GLOWING!?) and to his face. Blaine grinned and his eyes sparkled a bit.

“Baker! Do lifeguards get free things?” he asked with a smile, nudging Kurt with his shoulder playfully. Kurt gave a giggle and shrugged.

“Depending on what the lifeguard does in return.”

“I have my ways of payment.”

“And what kind of ways do you have?”

“I have actual money eventually, saving them, hanging out with them, asking them to join me and my friends on the boardwalk tonight to hang out because I really like being around them,” Kurt’s cheeks flushed as he saw Blaine grab a notepad and scribble his number on it, and watched him write a little note. “So, we are meeting at the music pier right down there,” he pointed over his shoulder to the building not too far down the beach. “And you are both welcome to come if you’d like. Give me a text if you are, and see you then because I gotta get back to work.” And Blaine turned and ran towards the row boat sitting by the stand, helping the blonde hair kid pull it into the water. Rachel grabbed the note out of Kurt’s hands, and her eyes widened when she read it.

“Kurt! This is…he’s hitting on you!” Kurt took the note back, seeing he hadn’t gotten a chance to read it yet, and his eyes widened. Yes, Blaine’s number was written across it, and then there was a small note. “Dress nicely. You don’t have to do anything too fancy though, because you already have the looks. ;)”

“Rachel, Rachel do I look fantastic!?” Kurt called, running out of his room and banging on Rachel’s door. She opened it, wearing a green shirt and pink skirt that flattered her figure. She looked over Kurt’s outfit choice and nodded.

“Sexy, now text Blaine that we’re on our way!” she pushed past her friend and he yelped, running back to his room to grab his phone. He fixed his hair one last time after texting Blaine that they’d be there in ten minutes, and he had to make his hair just right, or he’d be a crumbling mess. When he was satisfied with his hair two minutes later, he ran out and Rachel grabbed him by his shoulders and gave him a shake.

“AUGH! Rachel- what are you- stop it!”

“Kurt, calm down! Everything will be fine! He already thinks you’re attractive and you are! If I was a gay man I’d date you!”

“Creepy but flattering, and stop shaking me!” Rachel gave a huff and fixed his shirt a bit and smiled.

“Let’s go!”

~oOo~

Rachel saw them all before Kurt did, and Kurt suddenly being pulled along by a jumpy Rachel Berry. Kurt saw the blonde hair guy from before, and saw he was holding hands with a guy he remembered seeing at the lifeguard stand. He had brown hair. Another guy was there, and he was on the heavier side, and he held hands with a pretty girl who looked perfect for him. One other guy was there too and Rachel kept looking at him.

“I’m so glad you two could make it!” Blaine said, jumping up and down almost with excitement. Kurt gave a giggle and he looked at Blaine’s outfit, approving of his outfit choice. A tight blue v-neck that fit his body shape well, showing off every curve and muscle (Kurt thanked whoever created v-necks mentally for how well that shirt fit Blaine), and dark skinny jeans and white converse. The night was cool enough to wear jeans, and even a sweatshirt (something Kurt neglected to grab) and he glanced down at his own outfit. Black ankle high boots against red skinny jeans and a cream colored top with blue and red stripes across the top by his shoulders. It draped off his shoulders a bit and the cream of the shirt mixed well with his milky skin color. His hair was perfectly coifed (as always) and Kurt actually felt extremely sexy. Kurt has always thought he had as much sex appeal and knowledge as a baby penguin, seeing he was always so uncomfortable about the topic. He was nineteen years old and he has never kissed a boy, never been in a relationship, and has never had sex. Kurt Hummel was a baby penguin.

“We’re glad we could make it!” Rachel beamed, smiling at the taller guy next to Blaine still.

“Well, let me introduce everyone! The guy that Rachel keeps eye-fucking is Wes,” Rachel blushed and smiled as she looked down, Wes looking at his feet as well with a smile. “Those two love birds are Nick and Jeff,” Nick and Jeff were giggling to each other as they rubbed noses. Kurt could see the discomfort in Blaine’s eyes as he watched them for a few seconds, his eyes saddening as he continued to look at them. “And that’s Trent and Sally.” He finished, and Kurt noticed his tone was not as enthusiastic. They all started walking, Kurt and Blaine being in the back of the group.

“Are you ok?” Kurt asked gently, looking at how uncomfortable Blaine still looked. Blaine looked up in surprise and smiled.

“What? Oh! Um, y-yeah I’m fi-“

“No you’re not,” Kurt said softly, cutting him off. Blaine looked up at him and he let out a sad sigh. “You’re uncomfortable around Nick and Jeff.”

“Just when they’re all lovey dovey...it…reminds me that I still don’t…have anyone to do stuff like that with.” Blaine’s voice was broken a bit and Kurt looked at him for a second before hesitantly grabbing his hand and giving it a quick squeeze.

“You’ll find someone, don’t worry.” Kurt gave a soft smile before catching up to Rachel a few steps ahead, talking to her and giving some giggles. Blaine watched him for a second and murmured under his breath, “I already have.”

The eight of them stood in line for the Double Shot, all of them at Castaway Cove. Kurt remembers coming here with his family and Finn going on with Puck (who they met up with there) and Finn was absolutely in love with it. Kurt was in love with their faces when they were shot upwards and fell down faster than gravity. It made him smile, along with Burt and Carole. Kurt and Rachel weren’t too crazy about it, but it did seem fun. Nick and Jeff were on first (despite it being able to seat three, they were going in pairs of two) and Kurt giggled as he watched them go up with a smile. They stood there for a few minutes, and then Blaine and Kurt where the next one’s on.

“Nervous?” Blaine asked, watching Wes and Rachel go up their second time.

“A little,” Kurt blushed, laughing a bit. “I remember watching my brother and his best friend ride it. It was amusing.” Blaine chuckled and they sat down and waited to be buckled in.

“You can hold my hand if you want?” Blaine turned a simple statement into a question, and Kurt giggled a bit at that. He grabbed his hand and laced their fingers together as they were strapped it, and he glanced at Rachel who was grinning at him as he was taken up to soon be shot up.

“It’s not bad I swear it’s…free feeling. You feel free.” Blaine said, leaning his head back. Kurt closed his eyes, remembering when it went up, but both he and Blaine couldn’t help the scream the scream that passed their lips when they were shot up. Kurt looked over at him, and he smiled and laughed, looking out at the view. It was beautiful, just beautiful. They finished the second shot and they were all becoming tired, so the figured one more ride on the ferris wheel wouldn’t hurt. The line wasn’t painfully long, and they rode in pairs of two again. Nick and Jeff, Trent and Sally, Wes and Rachel, and Kurt and Blaine

“Tell me about yourself.” Blaine said, watching the ground become smaller as they rode up in the ferris wheel.

“Well, as you heard I love baking, I was bullied in high school…a lot. For being gay so…my mom died when I was eight, and I’m naming the bakery after her favorite movie Caddy Shack. I named it Caddy’s.” he explained, a small smile on his face. Blaine smiled a bit and wrapped an arm around him, Kurt blushing and snuggling closer to him.

“You’re interesting,” Blaine whispered, scooting as close as possible to Blaine. “You’re funny, smart, kind, adorable, sweet.” He whispered, and Kurt couldn’t help but blush a bit and giggle. He looked over and saw Rachel and Wes kissing, and he smiled a bit to himself.

“I was trying to play match maker with Wes and Rachel… I did it.” He whispered, a smile on his face. Blaine looked over in time to see them before they stopped at the top, and then Blaine looked at him.

“I was playing match maker as well.” Kurt looked over at him and smiled.

“With who?” Kurt questioned, tilting his head a bit.

“U-Us…I really like you. A lot. And I have this weird thing that we are love and first sight almost, and…a-and you’re not saying anything –I mean that’s cool- but I’d love to have you say some-“

“You like me?” Kurt breathed out. Blaine nodded a bit, blushing a darker shade of red.

“Y-yeah, and I know it’s a fast p-pace but I just…you’re beautiful…” Kurt blushed and he could only think of one thing to say.

“Kiss me, please.” and Blaine happily obeyed.

End Notes: I know a lot about Ocean City since I vacation there a lot, soooo yeah xP
