Kurt got down on his knees and sat in front of Blaine who was sitting on a chair. And held his hands which were clasped together.

“He will show up Blaine. I promise. I called him yesterday night to make sure, he said he will, so don’t worry, it will be fine, and you will do great Blaine” He said as he knelt up and kissed Blaine on the cheek.

The light started flashing in the room and everyone started scurrying backstage
“Blaine, were going on now, you can do it, break a leg” Kurt said

Quarter of the way through the performance Kurt realised Blaine’s father was not here, but didn’t want to worry Blaine so just carried on singing. Eventually Blaine realised and slowly started to move towards Kurt, trying not to mess up the dance sequence they were about to do
“He’s not here Kurt!” Blaine whispered
“Don’t worry, he’s probably just late” Kurt replied starting the dance sequence.

Blaine’s father walked in from the back of the room, watching his son dance and sing and do what he loves on stage. He took a seat and watched the rest of his performance. At the end Kurt and Blaine and the rest of glee club went backstage and got praised by Mr. Schue as usual. They ran backstage and Blaine was telling Kurt how excited he was that his Dad saw him doing what he loves.

“I can tell you love what you do, and that you love Kurt” His father said from the side of the room as the rest of the glee club looked on quietly.
“I see the way you look at him Blaine, it’s like the way I looked at your mum before she died, I can see you truly love him” He smiled
“Yes I do love Kurt, Dad. And I know you loved Mum” Blaine replied

Blaine walked over to his father, and could see that he was being accepted for who he truly was, and not for who his father wanted him to be.
“Thank you Dad” He said as he hugged his Dad

Kurt smiled knowing that’s how he felt about his Dad
Blaine turned around to look at Kurt
“And Thank You Kurt” He smiled sweetly

“Dinner at my house Kurt?” Mr. Anderson asked politely
“No thank you Mr. Anderson” Replied Kurt
“Please, Call me Thomas, you have earned it” Blaine’s Dad said
“No Thank you then Thomas, Me and Blaine had something else in mind” Kurt said sweetly as he ran over to kiss Blaine. And everyone in the glee club cheered. Knowing this was a start of a new chapter for Kurt and Blaine

“I love you” Kurt said lovingly
“I love you too” Blaine smiled
