“Its 8 o’ clock why is there football on?” Kurt said
“There’s not a recorded the match I missed yesterday” Burt replied
After a while they decided that there was nothing to do so they decided it was time to go talk round Blaine’s dad.
When they were driving there Kurt could see Blaine was nervous, his hands were shaking and he was very twitchy.
“Blaine are you ready to stand up to them? Tell them you’re gay?” asked Kurt
“Yeah. I have been through this for too long” Blaine replied
Kurt could feel Blaine’s pain even though he hadn’t been through anything like this. Unless getting bullied by Karofsky was familiar? No of course it wasn’t. Your parents are supposed to love you so I guess getting abused by them is a completely different story.
When they pulled up to Blaine’s close, Kurt jumped out of the car and went over to help Blaine out. Kurt had to reassure Blaine it would be okay, but he couldn’t do it, he didn’t know if it was going to be okay or not, I mean how could he…
“K-Kurt this is a bad idea” Blaine said, he looked so afraid
“We have to try, Blaine. It’s the only way.” Kurt smiled reassuringly
“Kurt I can’t do it!” Blaine shouted hitting Kurt’s hand away fom his lap
Kurt looked at Blaine, he was shocked. He had never seen Blaaine this angry, eventually he was able to talk Blaine round and they walked up to his front door and knocked on the door. Blaine’s father answered.
“Oh it’s you again..whats your name?” He asked Kurt
“Kurt. Your son’s boyfriend” Kurt replied
His father sighed and watched Kurt for a moment
“What do you mean his boyfriend? My son is straight.” His father said trying to push away the feeling of disgust.
“Look Mr. Anderson, Im dating your son whether you like it or not and I love him. And I would appreciate it if you come to see me and Blaine perform at sectionals” Kurt snapped handing Mr. Anderson the ticket
Blaine’s father snatched the ticket out of Kurt’s hand and saw son standing behind Kurt.
“Is this true Blaine? Are you, you know..” His father asked
“Yes…” Blaine said quietly
Kurt stepped back to stand next to Blaine, A look of disgust fell onto his fathers face.
“Don’t expect me to be at your little show choir thing then.” His father said shoving the ticket back in to Kurt’s hand.
“PLEASE DAD. Please…” He shouted, then turning it into a softer tone
He looked into his sons golden eyes, the beautiful golden eyes he got from his mother, he was so disgusted that his son was gay, but it’s his son, he can’t just abandon him? For something that didn’t really matter, right? Even though Blaine’s father was homophobic he could never hate his son, it just wasn’t possible
He looked at the too boys who were standing in front of him, as Kurt took hold of Blaine’s hand. He gave them a nod of reassurance taking the ticket out of Kurt’s hand gently.
“I’ll be there” He said softly as he closed the door
Kurt and Blaine looked at each other, it was a lot easier than they thought it would be, they stood there and hugged at each other, hoping that they had fixed it all, and that in a week they would be back to a normal father and son relationship.
