The next Friday Kurt was driving down the highway. Puck said he was on his way but he hadn't seen him yet. Kurt pulled down the road and into the alley way. People moved as he drove between the cars. A spot was open next to Blaine and he pulled in. Blaine joined him as he got out of his car and put an arm around Kurt's waist.

“I didn't know if you were going to show,” Blaine said.

“Well, I'm here,” Kurt replied shutting his car door. A group of guys walked over to them and Kurt looked at them worried.

“Calm down. These are just my guys,” Blaine said. Kurt looked at him and then at the group.

“I'm Nick! This is my boyfriend, Jeff,” a guy the same height as Blaine with short, light brown hair said. Kurt looked at the blonde who was his boyfriend. They were cute together.

“I'm Thad,” a man shorter than Blaine said. He had dark brown hair and eyes. The two guys next to him were messing around with each other and shut up with Blaine's glare.

“I'm David and this is Wes,” an darker skinned man said. Kurt nodded to them and looked at Blaine.

“Cooper said you're hired. I thought you'd like to meet the gang before you start,” Blaine said shrugging.

“It's nice to meet all of you,” Kurt replied. They left him and Blaine alone and Blaine turned to him. Blaine took both his hands back and put them in his jacket.

“Why would you ask your brother to give me a job? I don't want it out of pity,” Kurt said crossing his arms.

“It's not out of pity. I told him about you and that I went out with you and he agreed to give you the job. You'll meet him shortly but not out. He's out on a run,” Blaine said.

“A run?”

“Him and I will explain that to you another time,” Blaine said. Kurt heard a familiar voice and turned to see Santana Lopez walking towards him. She was in a tight red skimpy dress and knee high boots. He long black hair fell straight down her shoulders. Brittany was right next to her dressed almost exactly the same way and holding her hand. Santana stopped in front of him and Blaine and crossed her arms. Brittany looked at Kurt happily.

“Hummel? When did you get the balls to come here? And with Anderson for that matter?”

“I came here last week with Puck and Finn.”

“I didn't think they were serious! They said you kicked Anderson's ass too,” Santana said.

“Yeah, I did. So?”

“I never thought I'd see you here...let's go lady lips. I challenge you to a race,” Santana said putting a hand on her hip.

“Let's go, Satan,” Kurt replied smiling. Blaine moved away as he got into his car. Kurt looked out of his window to see Blaine looking down at him grinning. Kurt pulled out of his spot and lined up next to Santana. Brittany stood between them with the flag. She waved it and dropped it. Kurt hit the gas taking off. Santana was right next to him for most of the way but he beat her. When he stopped she got out and cursed him out in Spanish. Kurt shook his head and drove back up to his spot.

When he got out of his car Blaine put his hand back around Kurt's waist. He liked the feel of having Blaine next to him. Kurt put his arm around Blaine's waist and felt him tense up but then relaxed. He was challenge by Nick, Jeff, and Thad and only lost to Nick. His car was better than Kurt's but none of the others were able to beat him. When most of the people had left and only Blaine's gang remained Kurt sat against the black hood of his car.

“Can I sit next to you?”

Kurt looked up to see Blaine next to him. He nodded and Blaine sat next to him gingerly. He heard Blaine sigh and look at him with hope in his hazel eyes.

“Can I ask you something?” Blaine asked.

“Sure,” he replied hesitantly.

“I want to know if you'd go out with me...I know we went out last week but I mean...I want to take you out on a date. I've never felt this drawn to someone but with you...I can't help but be pulled to you.”

“I'd love to go out with you...on one condition.”

“What's that?”

“I want to know everything you and your brother do. If I'm in this for the long haul I want to know just exactly what I'm getting into,” Kurt said.

“I can do that. Date first though.”

“Fine. So, when do I get to meet this big brother of yours?”

“I'll let you know when we go out. He won't be back till the middle of next week anyway.”

“Okay...well, I'm going to leave. It's late and almost everybody has left by now,” Kurt said standing up. Blaine stood up and put his hands on Kurt's hips and pulled him against his torso. Kurt's breath caught as Blaine pressed his lips to Kurt's. Kurt wrapped his arms around Blaine's neck. When Blaine pulled away a smile spread on each of their lips.

“I'll let you know when I can meet you next week. I need to check what schedule Cooper has for me this week.”

“Sounds good...” Kurt replied dumbly. He pulled his arms from around his neck and moved to his car door. Blaine opened it for him and he got in smiling up at him. Blaine closed the door and leaned in the window and kissed his cheek before he left. When he got home that night he text Rachel the news and told her everything that had happened the past week. He made sure to leave out the racing details and said he'd just met him at the bar. A text from Blaine appeared on his screen.

'Can't wait to see you again...good night.'

Kurt replied quickly and went to bed with a smile on his face and hopeful thoughts drifting through his head.
