It was here. After almost a year of preparation it was finally the day. Blaine's CD was finally hitting shelves today and he was nervous beyond hell. It was his debut and this could determine what happened to him from here on out. He walked into the studio that day hoping to see Kurt and calm his nerves. “You do not know how worried I am...”

“Don't be! You had a lot of pre-orders and your fan base has grown over the past few months with your singles and performances. I may even have a surprise for you...” Kurt said. Blaine smiled at him and kissed him once more. They decided to leave work for the day and go out together.

A week later and he was even more nervous. The numbers were finally in and he was hoping to have at least broken the top twenty. When Kurt finally came home that night he didn't even want to know what he had to say.

“You know...you really doubt how amazing you are,” Kurt said as he sat next to Blaine. He looked over into Kurt's blue eyes.

“How bad did I do?”

“I'm serious. You really don't know how amazing you are. You broke the top twenty,” Kurt said.

“That's it?”

“You broke the top fifteen.”

“Kurt...”

“You broke the top ten.”

Blaine could feel the horrible feeling ebbing away as Kurt kept going on.

“Come on...”

“You broke the top five,” Kurt's smile was infectious as Blaine wrapped his arms around him.

“What number?”

“Considering your competition you did good for a debut. You broke the top three...at number three. But either way...I'm still proud of you.”

“Good...I want you to be,” Blaine said as he pressed his lips to Kurt's. He straddled Kurt's hips as they sat on the couch. His hands roamed down Kurt's chest and to his hips.

“I love you, so much,” Blaine said.

“I love you too...you're going to blow everybody away. If you do as good as we predicted then you have a spot on New Year's Eve to perform,” Kurt said.

“New Year's Eve? Perform in Times Square?”

“Uh, yeah!”

He hugged Kurt tightly as everything sank in. His dream for the past few years had finally come true. He was finally going to do something with his life.
