“Good morning,” Blaine said.
“Good morning. Are you feeling better?”
“A lot. I have you to thank,” Blaine said kissing his cheek.
“It was nothing,” Kurt replied. He moved from Blaine and looked at the stove.
“I made myself a cheese omelet. Yours is a veggie one,” Blaine said.
“It smells amazing. Thank you,” Kurt said. He kissed Blaine's cheek and moved to the fridge. He got the orange juice out and poured himself a glass. He put it on the table and went back to Blaine. He grabbed his plate with his omelet and followed Blaine into the dining room. They made small talk as they ate.
“Thanks for coming yesterday...it means so much that you came over to help me.”
“Anytime. This omelet is amazing,” Kurt said. Blaine smiled at him and finished up. They cleaned the dishes together and moved into the living room. Blaine put a movie in and they cuddled together on the couch. Kurt rolled his eyes when he saw Blaine had put Peter Pan in.
“What?! I love Disney,” Blaine said. Kurt laughed and kissed his neck as he rested his head on his shoulder.
“Believe me, I know,” Kurt replied laughing. They sat in silence, holding hands, as they watched the movie. Blaine would press random kisses to the top of his head as they watched the movie. For the rest of the day they watched movies and called for Chinese that Kurt went to pick up. They watched more Disney movies as they spent the night together. After a few more hours Kurt decided to head home. Blaine saw him to the door and before he opened it Blaine put his hands on Kurt's hips. Kurt looked into the soft hazel eyes and wondered what was on Blaine's mind.
“Thank you, Kurt...for everything,” Blaine said as he kissed Kurt's forehead.
“You're welcome,” Kurt said smiling.
“I love you...” Blaine said against Kurt's forhead. Kurt tensed up and he pulled away slowly from Blaine's grasp and wrapped his arms around himself. He saw the hurt in Blaine's eyes and knew it was because of Kurt. He wrapped his hands around his neck and sighed.
“I'm sorry...” Kurt said.
“No, don't be. I shouldn't expect you to say it...I just...I had to tell you...”
“I know...it's just...it hasn't been that long since that day but...I love you too, Blaine. I do and it scares the living hell out of me,” Kurt replied. Blaine put his hands on Kurt's neck and leaned in to kiss him. His lips pressed to Kurt's lightly and he pulled away looking into Kurt's eyes.
“I'll be here no matter what. I'm not going to hurt you...I love you, Kurt. I'm determined to make us work. I'm not going to rest until that asshole is gone from your mind and I can be the one you'll only think of. I don't want him to affect us. He's gone...”
“I know...I know you aren't going to hurt me, Blaine. That fear is there though. You have no idea...”
“I don't...but I wish I did because then I'd be able to help you more. Why don't you go before it gets dark. Let me know you get home safely,” Blaine said.
“I will. I'll see you later,” Kurt replied and opened the door. When he walked out into the cooler day Kurt smiled. He was in love. He was loved. He wanted to feel this way once more but he was scared. What if Blaine did end up leaving one day? It'd be the end of him if he ever lost Blaine.
