“Hey. What's up?” Kurt asked.

“Kurt...babe...I have to cancel. I'm sorry. I've been sick all day. I've been holding off hoping I'd feel better but I've only gotten worse.”

“Are you okay? What's wrong?” Kurt asked.

“I was nauseous all morning and let's just say breakfast didn't settle well...”

“What did you have?”

“Just toast. I've had some water but that's all,” Blaine replied.

“I'm on my way over. Let me grab some things and I'll be there,” Kurt said grabbing his wallet and keys and making his way out of the door.

“No, Kurt. It's okay.”

“Too bad. I'm already on my way. I'll see you in a few,” Kurt said and hung up. He got to the store and picked up everything he would need. Once he got everything he made his way to Blaine's apartment. When he got there he knocked on it hoping he was awake.

“It's open!”

He turned the knob and walked in looking around. Blaine was on his sofa curled up under a blanket. Kurt set his bags down and made his way over to his boyfriend. He kneeled down in front of him and put the back of his hand to Blaine's forehead. His usual bright eyes were glazed over with fever.

“You're burning up...”

“I'm fine...”

“No, you're not,” Kurt said running his hand through Blaine's curls. Blaine sighed and closed his eyes. Kurt knew it relaxed him and Blaine loved it when Kurt did that. Kurt pulled the blanket down to see Blaine was shirtless and only in a pair of shorts.

“Too hot...then too cold. I didn't know what to do...” Blaine mumbled.

“I'm not surprised. Come on, sit up. I'm going to get you a drink and then make some food.”

“You don't need to do anything for me,” Blaine said as Kurt helped him up.

“As your boyfriend, I do. I need to make sure you're okay,” Kurt said. He left the blanket on Blaine's lap and moved over to his bags. He went into the kitchen and got out a glass and filled it with ice. He pulled out the bottle of strawberry Gatorade, Blaine's favorite, and poured him a glass. He took it into the living room and sat next to Blaine.

“Take a sip,” Kurt said holding the glass out to him. Blaine took it from him and took a small sip. A small smile spread on his face as he handed Kurt the glass back. Kurt put it on the coffee table and got up.

“I also got some ingredients to make you chicken noodle soup. I know you liked it the last time I made it,” Kurt said.

“You really don't have to...”

“But I'm gonna,” Kurt replied moving into the kitchen. Once he had the vegetables simmering on the stove he went back in to Blaine.

“We're gonna get you a cool bath to help you out with the fever.”

“It's okay, Kurt. Really, you don't need to do anything for me...” Blaine said.

“You've done so much for me though...it's only right that I do something for you,” Kurt replied. Blaine gave in and Kurt helped him up. He put his arm around Blaine's waist and led him into Blaine's master bath. He ran the bath and got the bubble bath from his bags in the living room. He poured some of it into Blaine's bath and waited. Once it was filled enough he turned to Blaine.

“I think I'll be fine...” Blaine said smiling.

“Okay...call me if you need anything.”

He walked out and down into the kitchen. Once the vegetables had simmered long enough he added the last few ingredients. He turned it up a little and stirred it. When it was done he put a lid on it to help keep it warm. He made his way upstairs and knocked on the bathroom door.

“Yes?”

“The soup is done...how are you doing?” Kurt asked.

“I'm fine. I'm feeling a little better but I'm still nauseous.”

“Well, maybe the soup will help. I'll be downstairs,” Kurt said. He left him alone and sat down at the kitchen table going through his phone. He text Rachel about being with Blaine since she asked to get together. A few minutes later Blaine joined him in the kitchen looking a little better. Kurt got up and poured each of them a bowl. He got Blaine's glass of Gatorade and put it on the table. He got himself a glass of water and sat down.

“Thanks for everything, Kurt. You really didn't need to come over,” Blaine said as he ate.

“I wanted to...” Kurt replied shrugging. When they finished Kurt washed up the dishes and put them away. He put the rest of the soup in the fridge for Blaine. He went back into the living room and saw Blaine was starting to doze off. He put a hand on his arm and gently shook him awake.

“Do you want to go lay in your bed?” Kurt asked.

“Yeah...that would be nice,” Blaine replied. Kurt helped him up and they walked back to his room. Kurt tucked him in and kissed his cheek.

“Don't get sick...” Blaine grumbled. Kurt chuckled and shook his head.

“I don't care. I'm glad I got to spend today with you,” Kurt said.

“Will you stay the night?”

“Um...are you sure?”

“Yeah...please? I'm tired...and it's late and I know you're tired.”

“Fine...let me get my overnight bag and change,” Kurt said. He left the room and went into the guest bedroom and got his clothes out. He quickly changed and went back to Blaine. He laid down in the bed with Blaine and laid against his back. He put an arm around Blaine's waist and laced his fingers with his.

“Thank you Kurt...for everything today,” Blaine said.

“You're welcome...” Kurt said kissing the back of his neck. He closed his eyes and smiled into the back of Blaine's neck.
