Author's Notes: Kind of a fast paced chapter but things may slow down in the next chapter.
For the past week Kurt had been meeting Blaine for lunch and dinner. They'd spent most of the days in each others presence. Even when Kurt made his Broadway debut Blaine was sitting in the front row in the mezzanine section. Kurt felt something in him changing and he realized that maybe it was love. Love for Blaine. For someone he barely knew and didn't know if he was even human.

When Kurt walked out of his changing room Blaine was standing there with a smile on his face and a dozen roses in his hand. Kurt smiled at the man and Blaine leaned in to kiss him. It was meant to be a quick peck but Kurt deepened it. When he pulled away Blaine held the roses out for him.

“Let's go around and walk the city,” Blaine said. Kurt nodded and they fingers entwined together.

“Kurt...”

He stopped and turned to see Sebastian standing behind them. The look on his face killed Kurt. He looked down at their joined hands and felt his heart stop.

“I guess you moved on...” Sebastian said. Kurt let Blaine's hand go and gave him the roses. He walked back to Sebastian. Sebastian held out his roses to Kurt. Kurt took them and smelled them.

“Him and I are just friends. I swear. We've just been together a lot,” Kurt said.

“Well...I'm glad you're happy.”

“I'm surprised you're here,” Kurt said.

“I told you I would be. I don't break my promises Kurt. And I plan on being here for as many shows as I can be.”

“Thank you,” Kurt replied smiling.

“You were fantastic. No surprise. Rachel did good too. The whole cast did,” he said.

“Thanks.”

Kurt pulled away from the hug and smiled at Sebastian. Sebastian kissed his cheek and waved good bye to him and Blaine. Kurt watched him go a little sad by the events that had played out. However, he was happy where he was now. He went back to Blaine and they continued down the hallway. The still warm air swirled around them and Kurt took a deep breath. He loved the city and loved where he was.

“So...tell me. How do you make it in the city? Like...do you have an apartment. You've always left me at mine and walked away,” Kurt said after a few moments of silence.

“I do...”

“And no job?”

“Well, I usually just snap my fingers and anything I need is there,” Blaine said.

“Show me.”

They stopped and Blaine looked around. He snapped his fingers and a hundred dollar bill appeared in his hand. Kurt was in awe at the sight and checked the bill. It was one hundred percent real.

“Damn,” he said.

“I know,” Blaine said smiling.

“That's so cool!”

“It's the best gift I have,” Blaine said. They continued to walk down the street to Kurt's complex. They stopped and Blaine turned to him.

“There's a concert tomorrow at a bar...I want to know if you'd like to go,” Blaine said. Kurt held his hand tightly in his and smiled at the offer. Plus, he loved when Blaine got shy like this.

“I'd love to go,” Kurt said. Blaine kissed him once more and then left. Kurt made his way up to his apartment with the two dozen roses and set them both in vases. He set them in the living room and smiled. He went to get ready for the night. It had been a long day and he was happy to finally lay down.

After his last performance of the day he ran home as fast as he could to get ready for the little concert. He showered and styled his hair and wore a pair of black skinny jeans with a red button up shirt. A knock sounded throughout the apartment and he ran to get the door. There stood Blaine amazing as ever.

“Hi,” Blaine said smiling. Kurt shook his head and grabbed his keys and walked out. He locked up and they made their way outside. Blaine's hand reached out and took his and they walked down the street. After a few blocks Blaine stopped outside of a bar. They got in after showing ID's and took a booth at the back of the place. Blaine sat right next to him and their hands stayed joined.

“Thanks for bringing me,” Kurt said.

“Of course,” Blaine replied smiling. Kurt laid his head on Blaine's shoulder and waited for the band to start. It was a local group who played for fun. Blaine and him each had a beer and talked more about their days. Kurt enjoyed them as they went their hour long set. Kurt and Blaine left the place when they were done. They laughed as they walked and joked around.

“This is my stop,” Kurt said as they got to his building. Blaine nodded and they kissed once more. Kurt looked into his hazel eyes and felt all of his walls crumble and he dared ask Blaine something.

“Blaine...can we be together? Can we...be a couple?”

“I don't know...I don't know if I'll be here tomorrow or what's going to happen. Let's take things day by day and maybe we can work something out,” Blaine said. Kurt nodded and walked away from Blaine and up into his apartment.

The weeks went by in a blur. Kurt was in his last day as Fiyero and was hoping they would ask him to come back again. For now, he would be done and another producer might take him on. Kurt was happy to do whatever as long as he got a role.

When the show finally came and ended he left in a daze. Blaine was there waiting for him though and they walked to Kurt's apartment. Blaine came in and Kurt made them both some coffee.

“You had a fantastic run as Fiyero. You're only going to get better too,” Blaine said.

“Thank you,” Kurt said smiling.

“So, I was thinking...I really want to be with you Kurt. I want to be able to hold you and never let you go. I want to be by your side as you conquer New York. Will you let me?”

“You don't need to ask,” Kurt said and put his mug down. He moved closer to Blaine and put his arms around his neck. Blaine set his mug on the table and put his arms around Kurt.

“I'm so glad I get you,” Blaine said. Kurt smiled and kissed Blaine. They spent a few hours curled up in each others arms until Blaine left. Kurt missed him holding him but they planned to meet up early tomorrow. When he got ready for bed his home phone rang.

“Hello?” he asked.

“Hi, Kurt Hummel?”

“That's me,” he replied.

“I'm a nurse at The General Hospital. You were listed as an emergency contact,” the female voice said.

“For whom?” he asked worried.

“Sebastian Smythe,” she replied. Kurt heard the clatter of the phone hitting the floor and he barely remembered him getting his keys and leaving the apartment.

No sebastion please go away ... Leave klaine alone

ooohhhhh eemmmm geeee!!!! what the heck happened to sebastian??!! i just hope this doesnt make kurt go back to him...

Sebastian is so wonderful though! However it is Klaine all the way for me!

Ugh of course Something would happen to Sebastian. Well I guess now I know other people can see Blaine lol but he can snap hos fingers and get stuff that's cool, I hope that if he falls in love with Kurt they won't assighn him to anybody else and he will be 100% real. Blaine wasn't like sent to help or protect Kurt again cause something was gonna happen or someone was gonna die again, like when he was assigned to him cause him mom was sick, was he?

That is exactly what it could be about ;) In the original novel, the imaginary friend was sent to them because someone was going to die. Blaine cutting himself and BLEEDING should have been an indication of something ;)
