Author's Notes: Blaine walked into the choir room with Cooper, smiling brightly. He loved his brother and so did many people. His smile faltered as he saw Paloma talking to the club already.
“Oh, Blaine! It's about time you showed up,” Paloma said.
“It doesn't start for another ten minutes,” he snapped.
She glared at him, “It started early...didn't you know? You can't be late to important engagements, sweetheart,” she said. Blaine scrunched his face at 'sweetheart' and took his seat by Kurt. A few of the girls were looking at Cooper, smiling and giggling.
“Anyway, excuse my son's rude interruption,” Paloma said and pulled Cooper down to stand by her, “Cooper has worked in the industry since he was a little kid. His CD will be coming out soon and he has so nicely brought copies for each of you!”
Blaine could tell Cooper forced a smile as she talked. He sighed and looked down as the group chanted for him to sing.
“Cooper was late too...why did she pick on only you?” Kurt muttered to Blaine. He shrugged and looked at his dad and Cooper.
“Blaine! Why don't you come sing with me?” Cooper said.
“Cooper, show them your talent. You are fine singing on your own,” Paloma said. Blaine rolled his eyes but stood up, “Of course Cooper!”
Cooper smiled and their dad started the music. Blaine laughed at the chosen music and danced with his brother, starting to sing.
“I’m bringing sexy back. Them other boys don’t know how to act. I think you're special, what's behind your back? So turn around and I'll pick up the slack,” Blaine sang looking at Kurt, smiling, “Dirty babe, you see these shackles baby I’m your slave. I’ll let you whip me if I misbehave. It’s just that no one makes me feel this way.”
Cooper picked up the chorus, both of them dancing around. Blaine pulled Kurt down while Cooper took Rachel with him, dancing in front of the class.
“I’m bringing sexy back. Them other brothers don’t know how to act. Come let me make up for the things you lack cause you're burning up I gotta get it fast...” Blaine sang. Him and Cooper picked up the chorus together.
They finished and Cooper did the next verse, “I’m bringing sexy back. You brothers watch how I attack. If that’s your girl you better watch your back cause she’ll burn it up for me and that’s a fact.”
Once more they split the chorus and dipped their dancing partners down as they finished. Blaine laughed and at Kurt's face and picked him back up. Rachel was squealing with Cooper, laughing as he brought her up. The class clapped for them, cheering them on. Blaine saw his dad smiling but Paloma ruined it.
“That is the worst thing you can do in this industry. You sing to the crowd, not one person. You also didn't put the energy like Cooper into the performance. It was unprofessional...”
Blaine looked at Kurt, biting his lower lip, “Having fun is what matters.”
“No. It's not always what matters. You need to put everything into each performance, no matter how you feel about the song. Cooper put a lot more into it then you did. Cooper out shined you in vocals and in dancing.”
“Yeah, Blaine you were really stiff in your dancing,” Rachel said, “you were also a little off key...”
He shook his head and rolled his eyes, “whatever,” he said and shook his head, sitting with Kurt again, holding his hand.
“Rachel? Would you like to sing with me?” Paloma asked, smiling.
“I would love to!” she said jumping and squealing.
“Since you're such a fan of my songs then we'll do one of them but you won't know which one till tomorrow.”
Blaine sighed and shook his head.
“Have a problem, Blaine?” Paloma asked.
“I might. But it's not like you would care,” he replied. She forced a smile and looked at the class, “Mr. Schue asked us to come back tomorrow so we decided to come back. How about some of you perform tomorrow also?” she asked. They agreed and some looked at Rachel jealously. Blaine shook his head and left with Kurt when the bell rang.
