Blaine was thrown into a new room. He squeaked at the impact to the hard floor and looked up to see a tiger running to him.

“Momma!” Blaine said.

“Blaine!” she purred as she nuzzled him and licked his ears. Another tiger made his presence known to Blaine and he cowered at the sight of him.

“Leave him be!” she growled at the male. Blaine whimpered and rubbed against his mother's leg scared. The tiger growled and turned away.

“He's not part human Blaine...you need to be very careful. He may hurt you,” she said.

“Why are we here momma? We didn't do anything wrong!”

“We didn't...but those humans think we did. We need to do our best to live here and then find a way to get out of here,” his mother said. Blaine nodded and curled up under her. She stood over him as he slept peacefully for the first time since being captured.

The next few months went by slowly for Blaine. A scar covered his neck where the male tiger had clawed him one day when he'd gotten in the way. His mother had attacked him and he was taken out and another replaced him. He was eventually taken from his mother when they said he was old enough to be taken away. Blaine was left in his own room, without Cooper, and was being trained to fight. Blaine always shifted back to his human form when he was left alone. They left him clothes to change into when he did.

The next few years were spent in captivity. Blaine wanted freedom but he feared the whips used on his back when he tried to over power them. He was given a formal education with a private tutor and was able to graduate at sixteen so he could go right into fighting for these men. Jeff left with him one day and took him away from the life he'd known since he was a cub.

This new place trained Blaine to fight other tigers. He was put with multiple females to breed but he didn't want any of it. They even got him a male companion but he ignored him and eventually they fought. The other tiger was shot and killed and Blaine was left standing glaring at the dead animal.

Blaine was undefeated as a fighter and was strong for his age. Humans would come and watch him fight. He hated humans and what they did to him and his family. There were others like Blaine and his family at this place and around the world. People were all kinds of animals not just tigers. This place was a zoo more than anything. These fights were illegal though and so were these zoos but the owners managed to get away with owning them. He had always hoped to get out but it never happened.

He was given some freedom though. Blaine was let into a jungle setting area, once every day for a few hours, and allowed to roam and do as he pleased and people would watch him. He hated it but he got some sense of freedom and normalcy despite all of the eyes watching his every move.

Blaine woke up to see Kurt grooming himself in the other corner. Blaine got up and paced around the room. It was the time of day when he got to go out into the open air and was allowed to run. The door opened in the back and he ran out into the warm air breathing in deeply. Kurt followed him slowly and Blaine jumped up a few rocks and laid down on a few to soak up the sun for a while. He looked down to see the people crowding around to see him and Kurt.

Everybody was paying attention to Kurt since he was new and looking around curiously. Blaine rolled his eyes and sauntered away to a spot to lay away from the stares of the strangers. When he found an area blocked by grass and rocks he laid down on his side. A shadow crossed his face and he looked up into the blue eyes of Kurt.

“Are you okay?” Kurt asked.

“Fine,” he replied and looked back down so that gaze didn't break him down.

“You've been hurt...I understand that...but I haven't done anything to you...and I don't plan on it. So, please...give me a chance and let me in?” Kurt asked. Blaine looked up at him and honestly thought about it hard.

“Why should I believe you? All that's ever happened is I've gotten close and been ripped away,” Blaine said standing and growling. The on lookers watched them intrigued thinking they were going to fight. Blaine looked behind him to see two of the men holding whips ready to come for him.

“I wouldn't do anything to hurt you. I've been ripped from my family too! I've lost it all also!”

“What have you lost? Freedom? I lost a lot more!”

“I lost my mom as a kid and now my father! He's gone! They separated us...”

“I was separated from my mom when I was a cub...eight in human years! My dad was shot dead in front of me, I was ripped from my mom's arms and tossed here, and my brother was taken from me! All I've done is fight since I was old enough!”

“That's not my fault!” Kurt replied growling.

“I don't know if you understand this or not but...I don't want you. I want you gone. I only live for me and I always will. So, whatever plan you're scheming...cut it out,” Blaine hissed and walked away back to the door to their room. The guys let him in and kept Kurt out.

“He can be the spectacle today.”

Blaine walked over to the corner and changed back to his human self. His long curls fell in front of his eyes and he put on the clothes that were on the ground folded neatly. He pulled his knees to his chest and felt the hot tears slide down his cheeks. He wanted to be able to open up to this beautiful new boy but...he'd always been hurt. The best way to prevent that is to never open up and never give in. It was weak to do that and he couldn't do that.
