Author's Notes: Thanks for reading!!
Blaine was finishing gelling back his hair when his mom walked into his bedroom. He turned to look at her. She was wearing a new dress. It was a dark blue knee length and Blaine guessed it had cost a lot.

“You're going to hate this, maybe, but on Monday me and your father have business to tend to so you'll be left here with Alexander. Is that okay?” she asked.

“That's fine. He'll probably be busy anyway,” Blaine said finishing up.

“Why don't you ever let the curls out?” his mom asked smiling.

“It's not presentable,” Blaine stated. She snorted and smiled.

“Honey...let them out for tonight,” she said.

“Too late and dad would only get upset,” he said.

“Are you okay?” she asked.

“Fine. I just had plans with Kurt set up. I had to call and cancel,” he said.

“Why don't you invite him? Alex can meet him and I'd love to have him there,” she said.

“Dad would only cause a fight like last time and he would ask Kurt to leave,” Blaine said sitting down on his bed.

“I want Kurt there so invite him.”

“No. I planned on having him Alex meet him this weekend anyway,” Blaine said. She sat by him and kissed his cheek.

“Okay. Then I want to take you, Kurt, and Alex to dinner tomorrow. Okay?”

“Sounds good. Thanks mom,” Blaine said kissing her cheek. She got up and went to his bedroom door.

“Don't grow up,” she said smiling as she left. She left him in silence and he sighed. He text Kurt about Saturday and got a 'yes' reply back. He put his suit jacket on and walked down into the living room.

“No Melissa! Not tonight!” his dad's voice rang from the kitchen. Alex stood by the front door.

“Sorry. I asked about Kurt and he got mad,” Alex said. Blaine sighed and looked down.

“Dad hates me and hates Kurt. Don't ever speak of us in front of him,” Blaine said a little angry.

“I didn't know he got worse,” Alex said sadly.

“He did...” Blaine said. His parents then came into the living room. His father's face was contorted with anger. Alex told him where they were eating and Blaine grabbed his keys and walked out to his car.

“Blaine!” his mom yelled as she came on the porch.

“I'll drive myself,” he yelled back. He got into his car and he started it up. He drove slowly to the restaurant. He pulled into the big lot and waited for his parents to get there. When he saw the Mercedes he got out and walked over to it. His mom walked over to him and hugged him tightly. They walked in quietly and got seated. He sat by Alex in the booth. Alex kept looking over at him smiling lightly. His father looked up at him and started to talk.

“Blaine...have any acceptance letters come in?”

“All six accepted me,” Blaine said.

“Very nice Blaine!” Alex said smiling.

“Yes...very good. Accepted for what majors?”

“Two performing arts schools and two Business schools with Pre-Law,” Blaine said.

“I hope you threw the first two away,” his father said bitterly.

“I haven't. I'm considering all of my options.”

“Dad, let Blaine decide. It's his future,” Alex said.

“If he was smart he would pick one of the last four,” their father said. His father wanted him to go into business or law “like all of the Anderson men” and work within his fathers firm.

“He is smart! He got accepted into all six of the colleges he applied for!”

“I was top of my class at Dalton and I still am at this high school. I'll decide soon and I'll make my choice,” Blaine stated dryly.

“Do not speak to me like that,” their father said his stare and tone getting hard.

“Father, Blaine will make the best choice he can.”

“Stop defending your little brat of a brother!”

“I will not! He deserves respect! He's been through so much already, don't harass him anymore,” Alex said.

“You should be encouraging him to go to law school like you did!”

“He's not me dad! Blaine needs to make his own choices. I can't. I can only sit here and be supportive of what he wants to do...no matter what it is,” Alex stated.

“Enough! Blaine you will go to school for business or law or both, like all Anderson men,” his father said. Blaine looked down at his drink and bit back a sharp retort.

“Yes dad,” he said dryly.

“So Alex! Tell us about Heather!” their mom said. Blaine looked up surprised at his brother and suddenly felt a slight tinge of jealousy.

“We met in college, kept in touch, and began dating two months ago. She's beautiful and very good in school and law,” Alex said. Blaine bit his lower lip and looked back at his drink.

“Why can't you be like Alexander? You can drop that boy, get over yourself, and go to a great school and meet a lovely woman,” their father said.

“Dad, I'm happy with Kurt and always will be so stop trying to change me. I'm gay. Get over it,” Blaine said getting angry.

“Why can't you be like Alex more though?”

“What?” Blaine asked surprised.

“A business law major, very successful, a Dalton Academy graduate, and straight,” he said. Blaine felt the sting of that last word. Blaine got up and walked out of the front doors heading for his car to probably end up leaving. He didn't want to get upset here or now in front of his brother but he was pissed now. He was halfway to his car when he heard his name.

“Blaine!”

He turned around to see Alex standing there looking at him worried.

“What...”

“Don't go. Come on, mom is talking to him, just come back inside and we can talk,” Alex said.

“No. I'm going to see Kurt. I'm done for tonight. He went too far. Have fun big brother! Dad loves you more than he ever loved me! You are everything I'm not to him! I love you Alex...you're my big brother how could I not? I look up to you but...I'm jealous alright! I want your life. I want to know what it's like to have a father who cares for once! I would never do anything to hurt Kurt and I'm not ashamed of who I am but...it's hard...”

Alex was looking at him dumbstruck. He came over to him and Blaine realized him and his brother were both crying. Blaine wiped his eyes as his brother gave him a hug.

“I never want to hear you say you want my life. I'm doing everything I can so that he leaves you alone and let's it go. I know you want to perform. I encourage you to do it. Ignore him and follow your dreams,” Alex said.

“I don't know what I want to do though. I want to perform but I want to go into law too,” Blaine said. He pulled away and wiped his eyes again.

“You need to weigh all of your options and decide from there. Listen...go see Kurt. He must mean a lot to you and I don't want you to be here if dad is going to be like this,” Alex said.

“Thanks Alex...” Blaine said smiling. He hugged his brother again and got into his car. Alex walked back to the front doors of the restaurant and looked back at Blaine's car pulling out and leaving. Blaine sped to Kurt's house that night. Since Kurt had graduated he had gotten a small house for himself. It was perfect for him and he worked at the garage to help pay for it. Blaine loved it because they got alone time for once. He knocked on the front door and Kurt opened it.

“Blaine...are you okay?”

“Could be better...” he said.

“Come on in,” Kurt said opening the screen door.

“You look really good in a suit,” Kurt said smiling. Blaine kissed his cheek and smiled.

“I look better out of it,” Blaine whispered in his ear. Kurt smiled and kissed him back.

“So...what happened. I can tell you've been crying...” Kurt said sadly. They moved to the couch and sat down on it cuddling. Blaine's head was in his lap and Kurt was playing with his hair. Blaine recounted all of the night's events to Kurt. Kurt was looking at him sadly but seemed to like his brother.

“He seems like you,” Kurt said.

“I'm like him. Loving, caring, look like our mom except he has dad's eyes and I have my moms. We could pass for twins if we were closer in age and height.”

“How tall is he?”

“Your height,” he said.

“That sucks,” Kurt said stifling a laugh. Blaine laughed and kissed the inside of Kurt's wrist. Kurt smiled and soon they fell asleep like that. They didn't wake up until the next morning when Blaine's phone started ringing. His mom called him to come home so be obliged.

“Get ready for dinner at six,” Blaine said.

“Do I need to look presentable?”

“You always do,” Blaine said kissing him goodbye and got into his car and left. Blaine worried over the fact of Kurt meeting Alexander for the first time.
