“Go back to Ohio?”

“Yes. Go back to Ohio and leave us alone. The only reason you came out here was to follow me around...”

Kurt watched Cooper as he stood back up and looked out of the window. Kurt looked back to see Blaine stirring and he ran to his side. He grabbed his hand in his and kissed his bruised cheek gently. Cooper stood by the door to the room as Kurt hit the button for the nurse to come in. He moved out of the way as she checked Blaine over. Everything appeared to be fine and Kurt threw Cooper a glare.

“You're lucky he's okay,” he whispered as the nurse left and he went to Blaine. He sat on the bed and took his hand in his again.

“How are you feeling?” Kurt asked quietly.

“Eh...I've been worse...”

Kurt looked at him confused but shrugged it off. Blaine looked past him at Cooper and Kurt turned back to look at him.

“Blaine...”

“It's your fault...” Blaine said. Kurt looked back at Blaine shocked. Had he heard everything they were talking about?

“What?” Cooper asked.

“I heard it all...you hired somebody to beat me up? To teach me a lesson?”

“Yeah...he went to far though...I never wanted you here in this condition.”

Cooper made his way to the other chair next to Blaine and sat down. He cradled his head in his hands. Kurt could have sworn he was crying but he didn't know until Cooper looked back up at them with tear stained cheeks.

“Why? Why do you hate me so much? Mom and Dad never treated me like they treat you...”

“Because Blaine! Every time something good was going on in my life you stepped in and it went away...God...I'm just saying the same shit over and over and nobody listens. Look, I'm going back to my apartment. I'll leave you guys alone.”

Cooper got up and made his way to the door. Kurt looked back at Blaine who was crying.

“Stop Cooper...”

Cooper stood still in the doorway with his head down. Kurt watched him as he stood silently.

“Don't do this...would you...can I have my big brother back?”

Cooper looked back at them sadly. Kurt looked at him worried then back to Blaine.

“When you're ready to have me back I'll be there...I'm sorry kiddo. You know I am. I know I haven't been the best brother but I want to be...”

“It's better late than never...”

Cooper turned and walked out leaving them alone. The door closed and they were left in silence. Kurt stroked his thumb over Blaine's knuckles and looked down biting his bottom lip. Blaine was smiling at him but Kurt just felt like screaming.

“We'll work on him...” Blaine said.

“You want him around?”

“He's my brother...everybody deserves a second chance. I'll never forgive or forget what he did to you or me but he's my brother and if he's willing to give up on you and support us then I'm okay with him around...”

“Blaine! He's the reason you're in the hospital!”

“I know but Kurt...what if it was your brother. He's still family. You would still want to at least talk. Kurt, he's all I have in my family...my parents don't bother anymore...”

Kurt looked back at Blaine sadly but nodded.

“I'll give him a chance if you want. But, if he makes one wrong move then I'm done with him,” Kurt said.

“Understandable...”

Kurt leaned down and kissed him gently. Blaine's good hand left his and made it's way to the nape of his neck. He fingers laced through Kurt's hair and the kiss deepened. Kurt pulled away slowly and looked down into his honey eyes.

“Love you,” Blaine said.

“I love you too,” Kurt said smiling.
