Author's Notes: Blaine's POV!
The months went on for him slowly. His mood changed and even his parents, who normally didn't care, noticed something was wrong. Blaine quit The Warblers and focused solely on school and getting his work done. The guys had tried to find out what was wrong but he hadn't told them about Kurt at all. He would lock his dorm door and not answer it when Nick or Jeff would come over.
He would look at the texts and missed calls and completely ignore them. If Kurt wanted to push him away like that then fine. He would push just as much. He was ready to send the reply letter to NYADA stating he would not be attending after all. He had applied to other schools as back up and he was starting to consider them.
Blaine sat at his desk finishing up some homework listening to “Half-Boyfriend” by Jay Brannan. He wanted to turn the song off but he couldn't. It was too true for him and he just needed something like this to listen to. When his phone rang and rang and rang he groaned in annoyance. He saw Kurt's name and ignored it. Tomorrow he was finally getting his number changed after school. When it stopped ringing he sighed and sat back. He really missed Kurt. He had torn Blaine's heart into pieces after their talk. Two other guys had asked Blaine out and he'd turned them both down. When the phone rang signifying he had a voice mail he picked it up to listen to it.
“Blaine...please. I need to talk to you. Don't completely shut me out,” the broken voice of Kurt said. He could hear the boy crying and something sounded...off. Blaine wanted to call him back so bad but he couldn't. He couldn't put himself through that again. Against better judgment he called Kurt the next day before he changed his phone number.
“Blaine?” the voice asked surprised.
“Yeah...” he choked out.
“Blaine...I'm so sorry...please. Hear me out?” Kurt asked.
“Why? So you can step all over my heart again?” Blaine asked.
“No! I don't want to do that anymore...Blaine...look,” Kurt said. Blaine sat back in his seat waiting for him to talk.
“Cooper knows...” he said.
“So, you're calling me to blame me?”
“Blaine, I know you didn't tell him. I did. I had a dream one night and I said some stuff and he heard. He figured it out,” Kurt said. Blaine sighed and looked at the far wall.
“That's all you wanted to tell me?”
“No...”
“Go on.”
“Things are getting bad between me and Cooper.”
“And you thought you'd call me and ask me to help...I warned you.”
“Things are...bad.”
Blaine had never wanted to hear that from Kurt. He knew what he was saying and it hurt him so much. He wanted to help him so bad but he tried once before and Kurt had pushed him away.
“I don't know what to say besides leave him.”
“I want to but I don't know what to do. I'm so afraid of what he'll do to me.”
“I warned you about him and you completely brushed it off. I can't do anything now Kurt because you told me to leave you alone. I won't get drawn back into this again.”
“Blaine please...I need somebody and I want that person to be you...”
“I'm not doing this again...”
“Blaine...please. Don't do this.”
He could hear the tears that Kurt was shedding and the pain in his voice. And as much as it hurt he had to do this.
“No...you made your bed now lie in it.”
And with that he hung up and went into the phone store to get his number changed.

:'( :,( :'( :,( everything hurt .. .. *crawls into hole*
Stop going into the hole! Lol.
It might get worse....the next chapter I might go either way on what I want to do with it. There'll be an update later on so keep watch! :)
Holy crap! Why do I feel like its going to get even worse with Cooper, and Blaine will blame himself because as much as he wanted to help Kurt, he didn't. This is such a messy situation and I can't wait to see what happens next!
