Kurt laid beside Cooper and soon fell into a fitful sleep. The thing bothering him the most was this dream that was playing in his head. Over and over he saw Blaine walking away. He would watch him walk out of the door and Kurt would yell for him. Yell for him to turn and look at him and not walk away. Blaine had given him the option of him or Cooper and when he didn't answer Blaine walked away. After what felt like hours of his heart breaking over and over again he fell asleep.

Kurt made his way through classes the next day like a zombie. Not only had he missed out on sleep, thanks to Cooper and that dream, but he also had text Blaine a few times but got nothing back. He was going to call Blaine as he left his last class. Half way down the steps though Cooper was waiting outside of the school.

“Cooper...” he said as he neared him.

“I thought we could spend the night together,” Cooper said smiling.

“I don't know...I wasn't feeling good all day and barely made it through this last class,” he said quietly.

“Come on, I'm finally in New York and I just want to be with you. Make sure you feel loved and happy,” Cooper said smiling. Kurt looked down smiling at the man.

“I do...and I am very happy with you. I just need to sleep tonight,” Kurt said.

“Let me stay over then? I really want to be with you Kurt,” Cooper replied.

“Sure...but no games tonight,” he said smiling. Cooper took his hand and put his arm around Kurt's waist.

“What are you talking about?” he said. Kurt laughed and leaned his head on Cooper. He led him to his car and they drove back to Kurt's apartment.

“Blaine got accepted into NYADA,” Cooper said suddenly. Kurt froze and held his breath. Why did Cooper have to do this?

“Really? That's good! I'm glad he got in. It seemed like he really wanted it,” Kurt said.

“I was thinking, maybe I could introduce him to Rachel and they could share the apartment and you could stay with me,” Cooper replied. Kurt went rigid and looked out at the New York City traffic.

“Um...it might be a good idea. I don't know. She doesn't know him...I didn't even tell her about him,” Kurt said.

“That's funny because she said you did...”

“Oh! That night I got back I told her about him but never went into detail. She asked how break was and I said I got the biggest shock of my life,” Kurt said chuckling.

“I see.”

Kurt looked at him confused and tried to calm his nerves. Did Blaine tell him before he moved out here? Cooper parked in the lot by Kurt's apartment and they made their way up to it. Cooper had one arm around Kurt's waist and the other holding his overnight bag. Kurt was laughing because Cooper insisted on tickling him and kissing his neck. When they walked into the apartment Rachel was sitting on the couch doing homework.

“Hi,” she said flatly. Kurt bit his lip and watched Cooper walk to Kurt's bedroom.

“Please, behave,” Kurt said getting annoyed.

“I'm not the one cheating,” she replied.

“Rachel!” he hissed. Kurt looked at her worried.

“Don't worry. Your stupid secret is safe with me...for now. I still don't like Cooper. Oh, Blaine called earlier wondering where you were. He said it was urgent that you two talk.”

Kurt got his phone from his pocket and saw he had three missed calls. He sighed and walked out into the hallway to call Blaine back.

“Hey...look I wanted to talk to you about the other day,” Blaine said quickly.

“And I don't. Blaine, look, I don't know if you know but Cooper moved to New York. He has an apartment in the city by mine and we've been together the past few days,” Kurt said.

“He told me he got promoted but he wouldn't tell me where he was moving to.”

“Well, he's here. Look...Cooper and I are fine. We're getting better and you haven't been in the picture and I'm liking it. That spark with Cooper is there again and I want to be with him. If this secret goes to the grave with me then okay. I'll do it,” Kurt said.

“Kurt...I wanted to apologize about the other day...not say I'm done with you.”

“You basically said it the other day. I'm done hurting him Blaine. He moved here to be with me. He moved his life here. I need to pay him back for that and that means ending it with you,” Kurt said biting back the tears.

“No...I can't believe this. You said you would be my everything! You said you would be with me! Why did that change all of a sudden?” Blaine asked angry.

“He wants to make me his life and he's willing to do anything,” Kurt said.

“So was I! So am I! I'd do anything for you Kurt!”

“That's not enough anymore. Cooper needs love and I'm going to be the best I can be for him after this,” Kurt said crying.

“No...Kurt please...I'll tell him! If you do this I will tell Cooper the whole truth,” Blaine threatened.

“Go ahead...I'm here, he's here, and you're there. Every last time a guy did this to him he blamed you and he will blame you again,” Kurt said knowing it was breaking Blaine.

“No...” Blaine said crying.

“I'm sorry, Blaine. Bye,” Kurt said hanging up. A part of him feared Blaine would do it but a bigger part of him said that Blaine wouldn't do it. He hoped he was right. He walked back into the apartment after wiping his eyes. Cooper met him and looked at him worried.

“What's wrong?” he asked.

“A fight with a friend. She keeps telling me to walk away from you but I'm not doing it. I want you in my life,” Kurt said putting a hand in Cooper's hair. The angry look from Rachel actually worried him.

“Let her go then. Don't bother with her. She doesn't deserve someone as amazing as you,” Cooper said kissing him. Kurt smiled lightly and put his head on Cooper's shoulder. He wished it was Blaine's but this was for the best and over time he'd forget about Blaine.
