Before he could react Cooper had Blaine pinned against Kurt's car. Kurt stepped back, jaw agape. He wanted to grab Blaine away so bad but he couldn't...it'd give them away.
“You just can't keep your hands off of them can you? You tell me to keep him away so it doesn't happen again but as soon as I bring him by you fall for him!” Cooper said angry. Blaine was quivering under his hold and glare. Kurt grabbed Cooper's arm and pulled gently on him.
“Cooper, stop this. We're in public...please Cooper stop it. He's scared,” Kurt said. Cooper turned on him, those icy eyes boring into his ocean blue eyes.
“Why do you care so much about him? Do you like him? Are you turning into one of them? Leaving me for him?” Cooper asked. Kurt started crying and held firmly to Cooper's arm.
“No...I'm...I'm not...” Kurt stuttered out.
“I kissed him Cooper...I wanted him to see that he would have it so much better with me than with you. Don't be mad at him,” Blaine said shaking. Kurt looked at him surprised and then to Cooper. Cooper was glaring at Blaine and let him go. Kurt tried to grab his other arm but he was too late. The swing connected with Blaine's face and he hit his head off Kurt's car.
“Cooper!” Kurt yelled and knelt by Blaine.
“He deserved it,” Cooper said. Kurt watched as Blaine stared wide eyed into space. He placed his hands on Blaine's face gently.
“Leave him alone...he's betrayed me so many times already,” Cooper said.
“He did not deserve it! Cooper, he may have done something stupid but he did not deserve this...go home and I'll be there soon,” Kurt said. Cooper looked at him skeptically.
“If he tries anything, I'll hit him harder than you did and make sure he lays off,” Kurt said. He watched Cooper leave and get into his rental car and leave the lot. Kurt turned to Blaine and gently ran his thumb over his cheek. A bruise was starting to form and it looked swollen.
“Come on,” Kurt said getting him up. Blaine put his hand to the back of his head and pulled it back. Thankfully, blood was not present on his hand. Kurt let out a breath that he didn't know he was holding.
“I'm going to take off...” Blaine said walking away. Kurt grabbed his arm and looked him in the eyes.
“No, don't go. I don't want you driving like this,” Kurt said.
“I know...but I really need some alone time for now,” Blaine said. Kurt looked at him sadly and wiped his eyes.
“Look, I'm taking off for now. I need to get ice on my face. I'll see you later,” Blaine said.
“Come with me...I'm going to tell Cooper the truth about us. You can stay in the car but I need to tell him,” Kurt said.
“Don't tell him...not without me or your dad there. You saw how he just reacted! What if he does that to you?” Blaine asked getting angry.
“I'll be fine. Remember, I'm older than you and can handle myself.”
“Cooper is still older than you, and stronger. I'm just worried,” he replied.
“I know...don't be though. I'll be fine. I can handle Cooper,” Kurt said. Blaine looked at him sadly and then to the ground.
“I'm going home...meet me there later after you talk to Cooper,” Blaine quietly said. Kurt nodded and grabbed Blaine's arms and pulled him close to him.
“If you need anything Blaine, I'm here...don't hesitate to call me,” Kurt said. Blaine nodded slightly and looked down. Kurt put a hand to his chin and titled his head up and kissed him lightly on the lips. Blaine pulled away and kissed him once more before walking away. Kurt watched him before he slowly got in his car and started it. He drove the short distance to Cooper's apartment. He started up the steps and knocked on the door when he reached it. This was it...he had to tell Cooper...it was now or never.
