A week had passed since the accident and Kurt was staying at Cooper's place to make sure he was okay. Cooper insisted he was but Kurt wanted to make sure he would be. He owed it to Cooper to make sure he was taken care of. Blaine hadn't spoken to either of them since the accident and Kurt was happy with that, even though he was beyond miserable without Blaine. He sat down at the kitchen table with his coffee when the doorbell rang. Cooper got up and went to get it and Kurt followed him into the living room.

“Hey Blaine,” Cooper said happily. Kurt felt his heart clench and he sighed quietly. Sooner or later he was going to show up. Blaine walked in holding a piece of paper and beaming at Cooper.

“I'm a finalist!”

“What?” Cooper asked confused.

“NYADA! I got the paper saying I'm a finalist!” Blaine said smiling. Cooper's crazy smile spread across his face and he hugged Blaine tightly.

“I'm so proud of you!” Cooper said. Blaine was crying now, tears of joy streaking down his face. Kurt looked away from the two biting back his own tears.

“Kurt? Are you okay?” Cooper asked.

“Me? Yeah...I can just remember getting my letter and then being accepted...it's a great feeling. Congratulations, Blaine,” Kurt said. Blaine nodded at him and he turned back to Cooper smiling.

“I'm going to leave for a bit...I'll let you two have some time together,” Kurt said grabbing his coat.

“Don't go Kurt...” Cooper said.

“You two haven't had time to yourselves and this is a celebration so spend some time with him,” Kurt replied.

“I'll be at the coffee shop for a while,” Kurt said as he kissed Cooper. Cooper smiled down at him and Kurt turned to Blaine smiling lightly and then leaving. He drove down the street to the shop and parked in his spot. He walked in and got his coffee and sat in the corner in a chair. He sat in a comfortable silence by himself until that head of curls showed up.

“Go away,” Kurt said looking at his phone. The person sat down in front of him and looked at him.

“Kurt...please? Come see my audition for NYADA?” Blaine asked.

“When is it?” Kurt asked.

“Next Saturday in Columbus...” Blaine said. Kurt sighed and nodded.

“No funny business?” Kurt asked.

“There won't be any. Cooper said he would come but work won't allow him since he's missed a lot already,” Blaine said.

“And you want some kind of support,” Kurt said.

“Yeah...” Blaine said looking down.

“Okay...I'll be there,” Kurt said.

“Thank you...and Kurt...your dad looked at the car. The damage to the Brake Master Cylinder wasn't intentional. If you don't believe me...then call him,” Blaine said getting up and walking away from him. Kurt watched him go sadly. He let out a breath and called his father.

“Was the damage to Cooper's car intentional?” Kurt asked him quietly.

“It wasn't...it was simply weak and broke,” Burt said. Kurt felt the tears slide down his cheeks and sniffled quietly.

“Blaine told me the whole story Kurt...and I can guarantee he didn't do it. You need to go talk to him...” Burt said quietly. Kurt sighed and wiped the tears away.

“I will...thanks Dad...bye,” Kurt said hanging up. He ran his hands through his hair and let the flood gates in his eyes open. He had hurt Blaine because he needed something to lash out at and he was the easiest target. He got up and made his way slowly to his car. There at the door of the driver's side stood Blaine looking at him.

“Why are you standing there?” Kurt asked.

“Because...I knew you would call your dad and I wanted to be here to make sure you were okay,” Blaine said. Kurt sighed once more and looked at Blaine sadly.

“I'm so sorry I didn't believe you,” Kurt said tackling him in a hug. Blaine held onto him tightly and Kurt could hear his shuddering breaths.

“I'm so, so sorry.”

“It's okay...and I'm sorry too,” Blaine said. Kurt pulled away and looked into his hazel orbs. He couldn't get enough of this boy. Blaine leaned in, holding his face in his hands, and kissed him longingly.

“Kurt? Blaine?”

Kurt pulled away from Blaine and looked into the heartbroken and angry ice blue eyes of Cooper. Kurt's heart stopped beating and he felt everything cave in around him.
