Author's Notes: An update like promised! :) Thanks for reading!!P.S...don't hate me for this chapter...
Kurt woke up next to Blaine and smiled lightly. He had said all those months ago that he wished he could wake up to Blaine's face forever. Now, he could do just that. Kurt kissed the tip of Blaine's noise and touched his to Blaine's. He felt Blaine stir and the hold on him tighten. Soon those beautiful, warm hazel eyes stared back at him. Nothing but love was present in Blaine's eyes and a small smile took over his face.

“Good morning, well...dusk I guess? I don't even know anymore,” Kurt said. Blaine laughed and looked at him.

“It definitely is though,” Blaine said kissing Kurt. Kurt smiled in the kiss and pulled away. They untangled themselves from each others forms and got dressed. Kurt watched Blaine change and was so happy to have him, them, and this life.

“I love you,” Kurt said. Blaine looked back at him.

“I love you too,” Blaine said. Kurt finished getting changed and then they went out into the living room.

“It might be a little too soon to ask but could I possibly go for a walk? Just through Dalton and not outside?” Kurt asked. Blaine looked at him surprised and sighed.

“Kurt...you were nearly killed last night and you want to go on another walk?” Blaine asked. Kurt nodded and looked down at the floor.

“No,” Blaine said.

“I'm not a little kid Blaine! I don't know even know why I asked...of course you would say no,” Kurt said.

“Of course I would! Kurt...you're still new to this and not experienced like most of us and if you weren't with Jeff..I don't even want to think about that but the whole time I was dealing with that wolf I was so worried that I had lost you,” Blaine said. Kurt looked up at him sullenly.

“I won't even go out of the front doors...I just want to see Dalton,” Kurt said. He heard somebody behind him and he pulled away and then found he had run into Blaine's arms. Blaine was holding him tightly. Kurt looked up to see Erica standing where he had been.

“Calm down kid,” she said.

“She stayed for the night last night. I thought she was gone though,” Blaine said pointedly. She waved him off and sat on their couch.

“I'm going to do more work on whoever was after him last night. Care to help?” she asked Blaine.

“There! I could go out for a walk while you do that,” Kurt said. Erica looked at him questiongly and then to Blaine.

“He wants to walk around the halls of Dalton. I keep telling him no though because of what happened,” Blaine said.

“Let him go. He'll only get worked up over what we're doing,” she said.

“No...he was nearly killed last night and whoever else was there is still here,” Blaine said. Erica crossed her arms and gave him a pointed glare.

“What if they cross paths again?” Blaine said. Suddenly something clicked in Kurt's head.

“I remember something he said...” Kurt said.

“What? What did he say?” Erica asked.

“He said... I told Blaine we'd cross paths again...but that's all I can remember...” Kurt said. He looked up at Blaine who looked confused until realization crossed his face. Kurt was confused but then he looked at Erica who had a shocked face.

“It's him...” she said.

“Who?” Kurt asked.

“Don't worry about it...Erica and I will. I guess...you can go for a walk but have your cell phone ready just in case,” Blaine said. Kurt smiled and hugged him tightly. Blaine chuckled and held him. Blaine pressed a kiss to his neck and then his cheek and let Kurt go. Kurt kissed him on the lips and sauntered out of the door. He decided to go down the main stairs that they had always used. He walked down a hallway that led to a room that had books along the walls. There was a table set up at the front of the room and three couches and random chairs throughout the room.

He passed by it and came to a staircase. It spiraled, slightly, down to another level. Other vampires were walking around but not a lot. He walked down the stairs and down a hallway. He came to another room with two big doors wide open. He almost went in until another voice resonated to him.

“Mike listen...stay away...I think they may know,” the voice said. It was Sebastian. He could tell. What was he talking about though?

“I don't know...somehow the idiot managed to get away,” Sebastian said. Kurt felt something stop in him and he held onto the door for support. Sebastian was behind it? Kurt turned and silently ran back to the staircase and back up the steps to their apartment. He stopped outside and listened through the door.

“It couldn't be Mike...I haven't seen or heard from him for about a century now...” he heard Blaine say.

“Well, his name's Mike and after what Kurt said...it might be him,” Erica said. Kurt opened the door and looked into see them sitting on the couch. Blaine looked up him and suddenly worry was written across his face. He came into the room fully and then Blaine was in front of him.

“What happened?”

“What makes you think something happened?” Kurt tried asking confidently but felt something slip in him.

“I can tell by your eyes...and if you don't tell me I'll use compulsion...” Blaine said.

“Don't. I hate that and I can't believe you would do that to me,” Kurt said.

“I won't...I'm sorry...I just...saw the look in your eyes and it scared me...” Blaine said.

“I know...I figured that was the reason. I'm sorry...and I heard Sebastian on the phone..I'm assuming phone. He said for some Mike to stay away and we might know who he is. Also, he said somehow the idiot managed to get away,” Kurt said. Blaine's face went from worried to angry in .2 seconds and it scared Kurt.

“It's him Erica...” Blaine said.

“It sounds like it...” she said.

“Who is he?” Kurt asked.

“He's the reason I'm here today. He's the reason I lost Simon...” Blaine said.

“But you go me...” Kurt said.

“And I wouldn't have it any other way,” Blaine said. Kurt was convinced. He knew Blaine loved him and missed this Simon from what he had heard but Blaine had a new life and he was so happy that Blaine wanted him. Next thing he knew Blaine was leading him out of the room and Erica was behind them. They walked for a minute until they came to another apartment. David opened the door and Kurt smiled.

“Keep him for a while?” Blaine asked.

“Sure...guess you got a lead?” David asked. Blaine nodded and then they left. Kurt was pulled into the room and David looked at him.

“Don't do anything stupid please...he'll kill me if you get hurt,” David said. Kurt nodded slightly and sat down on the one chair. Wes, Jeff, and Nick had come in later on.

“Hey Kurt. How are you doing?” Jeff asked as he came over and sat on the couch.

“Okay...considering I was almost killed last night and Blaine dropped me off here to go after Sebastian,” Kurt said sarcastically.

“Sorry...” Jeff said looking a him. Sympathy was written across his face until Nick joined him. Nick placed a hand on Jeff's shoulder and Jeff had a huge grin spread across his face.

“I guess that's what we look like...” Kurt muttered.

“Oh yeah,” David said from across the room. Kurt rolled his eyes and smiled.

“You two are cuter than us...” Jeff whispered. Nick swatted him over the head and laughed.

“Just a little but not by much,” Nick said. Kurt smiled and looked down. Nick sat by Jeff and took him into his arms. It had been hours since he had seen Blaine and was getting worried.

“Yeah...but we're still cute together,” Jeff said kissing Nick's cheek. Kurt looked down and sighed. He wanted Blaine there. He got up and made his way near the door. Nick and Jeff had started to doze side by side, curled up together, and David had been in the kitchen talking to Wes. He decided to walk out and made his was down the hall slowly. He tried listening for Blaine or Erica's voice but got nothing.

“Kurt!” an excited chirpy voice said behind him. He turned to see Kara walking towards him.

“Oh honey I heard what happened last night. Are you okay?” she asked.

“Yeah...just walking now. Trying to forget about it,” Kurt said.

“I can't believe Blaine let you alone,” she said.

“Neither can I but he trusts me to stay inside so I am,” Kurt said. She nodded and hugged him. Kurt hugged her back and then she let him go.

“If you need anything just let me know,” Kara said walking away.

“Have you seen him? He was with Erica before,” Kurt said.

“He's upstairs in one of the common rooms,” she said back to him.

“Thanks!” he said making his way to the stairs. He walked up the few flights to where he had heard the common rooms were from Blaine a few days ago.

“Where are you going?” a voice drawled through the staircase. Kurt stopped in his tracks and looked around. Nobody was around him. Next thing he knew somebody was standing at the top of this staircase. Sebastian.

“What do you want?” Kurt asked.

“You know what I want...” Sebastian said getting closer to him. Kurt stepped back and felt himself hit another body. He turned to see another guy.

“You know what we both want,” the man said. His face was covered by a hood and Kurt couldn't see his face. He bolted up the stairs but Sebastian grabbed him.

“Nope...you're going no where,” he said. Kurt pushed against him but it was useless. Sebastian grabbed his hand and he felt the ring Blaine had given him taken off his finger and heard it hit the hard floor. Kurt fought against him to get the ring but he was held tightly. Then the other man took his phone from his pocket and threw it to the ground. Kurt fought harder but the man moved and Sebastian let him go and pushed him away. Kurt felt himself connect with the hard floor but he rolled down the stairs and soon darkness took over completely with the searing pain that soon faded as his body healed itself.

“What do you mean he's gone?” Blaine growled into the phone. Erica was looking at him concerned.

“You can't watch somebody for a few hours?” he said.

“Yes but he was talking to Nick and Jeff and they said they fell asleep but he was with them before they had fallen asleep,” David said. Blaine got up and walked out of the common room and to the staircase he always used.

“I'll be there soon,” he said hanging up the phone. Erica was behind him instantly and looked concerned.

“Kurt's missing...he must have come looking for us or Sebastian,” Blaine said as they walked down the stairs. Then Kurt's scent hit his nostrils. It was stale though. He looked down and saw Kurt's phone laying on the ground. He picked it up and saw the screen was badly cracked.

“Shit!” he said getting up. He made his way down the steps and stopped in his tracks. Kurt's scent laid heavily at the bottom of the stairs and then he saw the glint of the ring. The ring he had given Kurt was laying on the ground. He picked it up and smelled it. Sebastian's scent was all over it. He took the ring in his hand and he squeezed Kurt's phone until it shattered in his hand.

“What...?” Erica asked silently.

“Sebastian has him...he took my ring off of Kurt...he's going to kill Kurt...” Blaine said. He had not cried since his first creation had died. He was crying again. He put the ring in his pocket and left Kurt's phone, well what was left of it, on the ground and bolted down the steps. He could faintly smell Kurt's scent and as soon as he hit the bottom of the stairwell it was barely there. He felt anger take over and he ran out of the doors of Dalton. He looked around but saw nothing but night.

“Kurt!” he yelled out.

“Blaine stop!”

He turned back to see Erica coming to him. He growled lightly and glared at her.

“Sebastian did this before...he took the bracelet I had given Christopher. He left it outside of my door so I would find it and then Christopher was killed. He's going to do the same thing to Kurt. I swear Erica if he touches one hair on Kurt I'll...I'll kill him...I don't know if I'll recover from it but I'll do anything right now for Kurt to live...” Blaine said. He felt the tears sting his eyes again and he cried. Erica's arms were wrapped around him instantly.

“Then look for him...let's go. Sebastian won't get away with this again. Now get up, shake it off, and let's go,” she said. Blaine collected himself, somewhat slowly, and saw Wes, David, Nick, and Jeff watching him.

“Get everybody in the search parties ready to go. We need to find Kurt,” Erica said getting up and pulling him up. They went back into Dalton and Blaine saw all of them giving him sympathetic glances.

“Stop it,” he growled. They looked down and then got everybody together. Blaine heard a howl outside and they all knew where Kurt was. They had found out Sebastian had some deal going on with the wolves nearby. Blaine for once, regretted ever making Sebastian.

“I'll get you back here safe with me Kurt...even if it's the last thing I ever do...” he muttered.

End Notes: And, I know Blaine told Kurt that Christopher was only a friend and he was. The bracelet was a gift from Blaine to Christopher, it was nothing more than that. So he did not lie to Kurt about Chris and we'll find out next chapter if it really was Sebastian who had killed Christopher or somebody else. Thanks for reading and sticking around! I see only about 4 more chapters for this story. It sounds like a lot but the next chapter might be kind of short....anyway...next update Wednesday or Thursday unless I finish sooner!
