Author's Notes: This is it for Bonding! :) Thanks for sticking around for the story it means so much to me!
Kurt stood over the grave of Carol. She had died a few weeks ago and he waited a while to come here. He hadn't expected to hear it when Blaine came home that one day. It had been twenty years so far since his change. He hated to think it but he had thought his father would go first but Carol had been in a bad car accident and died. He moved away from the grave and made his way further down. When he looked up he saw the outline of a man standing over a grave. It was his father. Kurt stopped and stood still. His father turned around and looked back at him. His eyes widened and he stared at Kurt surprised.

“Kurt?” his father asked. Kurt looked at him surprised. His father had aged so much. He felt tears in his eyes thinking about the past twenty years he missed. He missed so much in their lives and Finn's. Kurt stood still and didn't move or say anything. Kurt blinked and an outline started to form along his fathers outline. It was muddy gray. Kurt sighed and blinked to get rid of the aura. He couldn't stand to see that.

“Kurt?” his father said once again and moved closer to him. Kurt stepped back and looked to his side. He could see Blaine standing over to the side looking at him worried.

“I miss you Kurt...” his father whispered. Kurt bit back the tears and looked down. Blaine came over to him slowly and took his hand. He looked up at his father who looked even more shocked.

“Blaine...?” he said. Blaine looked up smiling sadly and then looked over at Kurt.

“When I run you run,” Blaine whispered. Kurt nodded quickly and looked at his father.

“Bye dad...” he whispered. The next thing he knew they were running. When they stopped they were in the woods near their home. Kurt sat down against a tree and looked up at him.

“I never thought I'd see him there at this time...” Kurt said.

“I know...he was at our graves...” Blaine said. Kurt looked up at him startled.

“Really?” Kurt asked.

“Yeah...you and I were buried by each other and you were by your mom...” Blaine said. Kurt sighed and leaned his head back against the tree. This was not how tonight was supposed to go.

“I saw his aura...” Kurt said.

“And?” Blaine asked.

“It was gray...and it was muddy...something is wrong with him...” Kurt said looking away. Blaine came over and kneeled down to hug him, then got back up.

“Come on...let's go back home...” Blaine said holding his hand out. Kurt nodded and took his hand and got up. They ran hand in hand until they reached Dalton. Kurt went right for the bedroom and closed the door. He sank down against it and cried freely. His dad was so broken. His father was dying. Part of it was his fault, he knew it. Kurt got up and actually made his way to the bed and laid down. He fell asleep shortly after with his father still on his mind.

“Kurt...” Blaine said shaking him lightly. Kurt opened his eyes groggily and looked over Blaine. He was kneeling on the bed and looked upset.

“What?” he asked.

“Get up and come here,” Blaine said sitting on the bed and opening his arms for him. Kurt got up and moved closer to him and put his arms around Blaine. Blaine's arms wrapped around him tightly.

“What is it?” Kurt asked.

“I needed to tell you...I had a friend keep eye on your family, Kara actually. She befriended Rachel and talked to her a lot. Kara called me today...your father went to see Rachel and Finn. He told them he saw us...Rachel said she couldn't believe it but he was adamant about it. Rachel told her that he left and went home seeming shaken but happier knowing he got to see his sons one last time. He passed over night Kurt, in his sleep,” Blaine said. Kurt looked at him stunned. How could Blaine have done that and not told him?

“All of this time and you didn't tell me,” Kurt said.

“I was only going to tell you when something big happened...” Blaine said. Kurt sighed and laid his head on Blaine's chest.

“Like Carol and now my dad...” Kurt said.

“Yeah...and when Rachel had her son and daughter,” Blaine said. Kurt looked up at him. Rachel's son would now be ten. Kurt wished he could meet the little boy.

“What's his name? You never told me,” Kurt said. Blaine sighed and kissed his head.

“They agreed on the name Kurt for him...after you,” Blaine said. Kurt pressed his head harder against Blaine.

“Why?” he said.

“For you...it was Rachel's idea. She told Finn and he liked it,” Blaine said. Kurt nodded and closed his eyes.

“What about their daughter?” he asked.

“Her name is Symphony,” Blaine replied.

“Here...” Blaine said. Kurt opened his eyes and saw the picture of a little boy and girl in his hand. He looked like Finn but definitely had Rachel in him too. The girl looked like Rachel, a lot.

“Is this them...?” Kurt asked.

“Yes it is,” Blaine said. Kurt smiled and took the photo.

“Can I keep it?” he asked.

“Of course,” Blaine replied and kissed his forehead. Kurt put the photo on the nightstand and went back to Blaine.

“Thank you...I need to go back to that cemetery though. I want to go when they bury him,” Kurt said.

“We can...maybe later than usual this time...so we don't have another run in with somebody,” Blaine said.

“Agreed,” Kurt said.

The next few months went on uneventfully for them. Kara had been telling Blaine everything about his family and Kurt was kept up to date. The day that Finn passed away unexpectedly hurt Kurt deeply. His son had just graduated college and their daughter was in her senior year in high school. Finn was a police officer and the guy they were chasing shot at him and it had killed him. Kurt couldn't have been happier that Finn had taken a job like that but for him to die like that was awful.

Almost twenty years later Rachel died. Kurt had found out that most of the people he had known were now dead while he still looked eighteen. He hated thinking about them all being gone but he did his best to not let it cross his mind. Kurt was happy and he knew that it was the only thing that mattered now.
