The song, "Forever" used in this chapter is written by me. I actually wrote it last year when my best friends left me. I think a song like this is needed in everybody's life. Thanks for reading!

When Kurt turned his radio on in the car the next day he heard Blaine's new song playing. It had a pop edge to it but it was still simple. He parked into his usual spot and listened to the song.

“There was a day when we said, I love you until the world ends. Who knew...it would come so soon. I never thought you would be the one to break my heart but I guess I didn't know you at all. Everyday you were by my side, faking your little smile. We said nothing could stop us now, we were on the road to forever! The countless moments of laughter and fun are all gone now...”

Kurt thought the song would be a cute love song. This was turning into his worst nightmare though.

“The sun didn't stop burning and the world didn't stop turning, so why did you go away? Why did you go away? Hell didn't freeze over and the stars didn't fall from the sky, so why did you go away? Why did you go away? I guess...I wasn't good enough. I guess forever came that day.”

Kurt looked down and let the tears slide down his cheeks. His own words used against him in a song. Kurt could hear the pain in the words and how much Blaine put into the song. He wanted to turn it off but he wanted to hear the rest.

“They say...nothing lasts forever. I didn't believe that at all. But then...when you said goodbye...I did. I gave you my heart! I gave you my all! I told you I'd do anything for you but you just wanted me gone. Well, I'm out of here still hoping you'd take me back but each day dragging on without you.”

The chorus played again and the final verse tore Kurt up even more. He placed his head on the steering wheel wishing this wasn't happening.

“Now, I found someone new, who actually cares, more than you ever did. Aren't you ashamed of yourself? Aren't you ashamed of what you did? I don't. Need. You. Now!”

The chorus played twice more and the song ended. He immediately turned his car off and sat back in his seat. Blaine had attacked him in the song using his own words against him. Kurt had said the same thing as the chorus did and he'd kept it in mind and wrote a song about Kurt. He didn't know if he should be flattered or angry! It wasn't fair. It wasn't fair at all. He got out of the car and into the building hoping to avoid the stares. 

“Kurt? Honey, are you okay?” Quinn's soft voice sounded beside him. He looked over to her and shook his head. They went to his office and he sat down at his desk. Quinn sat on his desk and held his hand.

“What's wrong?” she asked.

“His...his new fucking song. It's..his new song is about me!”

“Why?” 

“Listen to it...I don't want to talk about it anymore,” Kurt said wiping his eyes. Quinn nodded and stood up hugging Kurt.

“Was your date fun?”

“It was good...we talked for a while. I told him about Blaine when we saw him on the TV and he said he couldn't stand him. We got along there,” Kurt said. She smiled down at him and nodded.

“I hope you see him again. He's a good guy and could use someone as good as you and you need someone too.”

“I'll try...”

“Good. Look, I don't know when she might tell you but Rachel and her dad's might shut down once more. The business hasn't taken off like it once did when her dad's owned it and she's tired of it. She's already sending offers for me to be signed onto other labels. Some have replied.”

“Where would you be going?” Kurt asked.

“California. Rachel wants you to be my publicist so that we won't lose you. Plus, she's trying to get the label to take you since you're a scout and she's said you found me, Blaine, and Joanna.”

“I don't know...”

“Please, come with us if we do. We'd be living away from Blaine's area and Nick said he'd move out. He's a DJ and he wants to move out there. We could all buy a house,” Quinn said. Kurt shook his head.

“It's been a rough morning. Can I think for a while?”

“Sure,” Quinn said kissing his forehead and walked out. He turned his laptop on and went to the blog he followed.

'Blaine Anderson announces new tour! The Blackout Tour! He's going all over the country to perform for millions of people! His new single Forever has even taken off and it's projected to hit number one this week! His new CD is also speculated to be called Blackout. Britney Spears has a CD titled Blackout that was released during her dark times and people are speculating that he's going through the same thing'

Kurt looked at the dates spotting a few California dates and one New York City date. The tickets weren't for sale yet but he chose to buy once they were up for sale. He spent the day talking to Rachel about the label. It looked like things were going to shut down. He was glad he had his savings until he could do something. She did offer him the California deal saying she did manage to get him as Quinn's other assistant with her. The offer sounded good and he considered it and said he'd talk to her in a week to make the final choice.
