The sun was the worst, everything sucked but the sun was relentless beating down on the camp, rotting food and ruining water. It sucked. A small cough drew Kurts attention, a solider at the tent entrance. Sighing Kurt gave permission to speak.
"commander Hummel, we have located the enemy camp to the north and are working on finding a weak spot" the solider reported.
"Is that it?" Kurt asked "I told you not to report unless we do something big!" The colour drained from the solider's face and he began to stutter a apology "Oh be quiet" Kurt snapped at him "just remember for next time". The solider nodded and retreated from the tent. Kurt slammed his face on the desk, the second worst thing was the idiots who couldn't do anything right.
A humming came from behind the tent, unlike the average tuneless hum of soliders this was nice and soon grew into singing. Kurt raised his head, a piece of paper stuck to his cheek. The voice grew as the singer gained confidence. Curiously Kurt walked to a hole in the tent wall and peered out.
"Now your just somebody that I used to know" continued the voice oblivious to his audience. Kurt caught his first glimpse of the singer, he was rather short with dark hair that curled even underneath the gel, he had a beautiful face well structured and nice. His eyes were amazing, a warm brown that did something funny to Kurt's stomach. Kurt followed the muscles on the strangers arms with his eyes, up to his strong tanned back, a line of vertical scars proved Kurts suspicion, A prisoner. Or a slave as they were mainly considered now. The stranger looked up towards Kurt. And those lovely brown eyes clouded in anger as he saw the face of his enemy. Kurt backed up quickly amazed a face like that could show such hatred.
The next day Kurt summoned the stranger to his tent. He had the precautions of having soliders stationed nearby. The prisoner stood still, only his eyes moving to follow Kurt as he walked around. After a few minuites he spoke
"I'd like you to move the desk, towards the left side of the tent" Kurt requested "it gets more light". The prisioner nodded and set to work. Kurt tried to ignore the fact that the only clothes on the prisioner were a pair of tattered shorts. "What's your name?" Kurt asked as he walked towards the guy.
"Blaine" he replied looking up briefly "Blaine Anderson". Without warning he lunged at Kurt catching him around the neck and holding him to the dusty ground. "And your the man who destroyed my life!" he hissed into Kurts ear. "time for me to return the favour" Blaine drew back his fist getting ready to damage the face beneath him.
Kurt braced himself for the punch, he waited and waited all the while aware of Blaines strong legs holding him down. When the blow never came Kurt opened his eyes to see Blaine almost crying.
"what's wrong?" Kurt asked "I was under the impression you were going to hit me"
"I was" choked out Blaine "but I can't, it would be a sin to wreck such a face" the tears began to flow freely down onto Kurt who patted Blaine's leg rather enjoying his position. Blaine stood up and stepped away from Kurt "I'm sorry" he sobbed.
"No need" Kurt replied taking Blaine by the shoulders "I rather enjoyed it" he added Kissing Blaine roughly, his tongue playing against Blaine's closed lips, enjoying the taste of them. Blaine pulled away and without a backwards glance ran out of the tent.
Kurt sank to the floor, some ideas work our best in our heads he thought to himselfs.
