Chapter 21

5 months later…

Kurt woke up, feeling the cold late February weather in the room. He pulled his comforter up to his nose and closed his eyes again, so happy that it was Saturday.

Saturday.

Kurt's eyes opened quickly and he looked over to where Blaine was sleeping in his own bed. Looking over at the clock he saw it was 10am which meant Blaine would probably sleep for another hour.

Perfect!

Kurt got out of bed quietly and got dressed after a quick shower. When he looked at the clock, seeing that 30 minutes had already gone, he walked out of the room quietly.

He went down to the kitchen to see Jeff and Nick standing beside the cake. They didn't see Kurt as they were a little too occupied sucking each other's lips and running their hand over each other's bodies.

Kurt blushed slightly at the sight. He and Blaine had gotten a little bit more… touchy, but nothing more had happened. They had talked about it, and they agreed to wait till they were both ready. Kurt was starting to feel ready. He loved Blaine, even though he hadn't said that to Blaine yet, he really did.

Kurt coughed and the two other boys jumped away from each other with big, innocent eyes.

"Hello boys" Kurt smirked, a little red still.

"Hey Kurt!" Jeff smiled, choosing to pretend that nothing was going on.

Kurt looked over at the cake and smiled, "It looks perfect! So everything is ready in the choir room right?"

"Yes everything is ready." Nick said, a little breathless.

"Great!" Kurt smiled.

There was a little awkward silence before Jeff spoke up, "So what did you get for Blaine?"

Kurt smiled, "Well this, but that's a gift from all of us. And I gave Blaine a few bowties yesterday. And…" Kurt blushed, "Maybe I have another gift for later." He looked down.

Jeff and Nick smirked at Kurt.

"Oh really?" Nick said, teasingly.

Kurt smiled shyly, "I don't know… we haven't… you know." Kurt looked up with red cheeks.

Jeff and Nick smiled this time and Jeff walked closer to Kurt, "Don't do anything before you are ready, Kurt, but just so you know…" he smirked a little, "It's totally amazing" he laughed and winks.

Kurt laughed slightly, trying to hard his embarrassment and he could see Nick blushing behind Jeff.

"Good to know" Kurt said sarcastically, but chuckled.

"We should go get the rest done" Nick replied, taking the cake.

"I'm gonna go get Blaine, we'll be down in like 30 minutes. I'll send a text."

The boys nodded and Kurt walked up to the room again.

Blaine was still sleeping. Laying on his back, his mouth slightly open, and his hair messy and curly. Kurt smiled and closed the door behind him. He walked over to Blaine and carefully lay down beside him.

"Blaine…" Kurt sang, kissing him on the cheek as Blaine groaned a little, not wanting to wake up, "Happy birthday" Kurt whispered in Blaine's ear and kissed it softly.

A smile formed on Blaine's face and he wrapped his arms around Kurt. He opened his eyes slowly and all Kurt can see are the beautiful hazel eyes looking into his.

"Thank you" Blaine mumbled and kissed him softly on the lips.

Kurt kissed Blaine back, running his fingers through Blaine's soft, curly hair.

He could hear a little moan when Kurt's finger got stuck between some of the hair. Kurt bit his lip; Blaine seemed to like that. Kurt pulled a little in Blaine's hair and another moan escaped Blaine's lips.

Kurt gasped slightly and before he knew it, his lips were on Blaine's again. Kurt was straddling Blaine's lap, their tongues tangled in each other. Blaine thrust up slightly, a needy sound coming out of his mouth.

Those sounds should be illegal!

Kurt gasped at Blaine's movements and rocked his hips down slightly in return, wanting that feeling again.

"Kurt…" Blaine sighed and kissed him again.

Kurt kissed back, pulling his hair again to hear that sound. He couldn't get enough of it.

Blaine moaned, "Baby… we need to… calm down"

Kurt bit his lips and nodded, "Yeah we should" he said, catching his breath.

Blaine smiled, "It was a good way to start my birthday though"

Kurt smiled back, trying not to think about how uncomfortable his pants were right now, "Well maybe we can continue this later to make it even better?"

Kurt's eyes grew a little when he realized what he had said, and blushed a dark red.

Blaine was just looking at Kurt, "R-really?"

Kurt bit his lips, looking down, "Sorry that just came out of me. I mean, we don't have to rush into this. I'm sure you aren't ready and that's totally okay!"

Blaine was just smiling at Kurt, waiting for him to finish talking.

"Kurt… I wanted you to be sure before we did anything else. I've been ready for a little while now, but knew you weren't. And that's okay. But are you sure?"

Kurt smiled and nodded, blushing slightly again. Blaine smiled back and kissed him softly.

"Okay, we'll talk about this later. You need to get dressed." Kurt said as he got out of the bed.

Blaine frowned, "Why? Can't we just lie in bed for a while before I'm going home?"

"Nope, we are gonna go get a coffee. I really need one, so hurry up!"

Blaine sighs slightly, mumbling 'so bossy' with a little smile and walks into the bathroom.

Kurt smiled and lied down on his bed with a happy sigh. Everything was going so much better now that Blaine's father was in prison and his mother moved to Europe. Blaine was still upset about it and got nightmares sometimes, but it was good to know they were safer. It had taken a while before they got to the bottom of this case, but after showing the court the evidence, they knew they had won. It had been 2 months since his father went to prison and his mother moved away. Blaine and Cooper never visited their father and never called their mother. But Kurt thinks that's for the best right now. He knew Blaine was putting on a good face about this, but Kurt knew he would be okay.

"Kurt?"

Kurt sat up and looked up at Blaine, "Yeah?"

"Are you okay?" Blaine asked, stroking Kurt's cheek softly.

Kurt closed his eyes at the touch and smiled, "I'm fine. Let's go get some coffee."

Kurt sent a text to Jeff before they got out of the room, hand in hand. Kurt smiled over at Blaine.

"Oh could we just go to the choir room? I need to get something there."

"Sure." Blaine said, not knowing what really was going on.

Kurt opened the door and Blaine followed him inside. Everyone jumped out from different hiding places and shouts:

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!"

Blaine looked around, shocked and everyone smiled at him. After getting over the shock, he smiled brightly and hugged everyone a thank you. All the Warblers are there and some other good friends from school too.

"Did you do this?" Blaine asked Kurt when he had thanked everyone.

"I might have something to do with it" Kurt teased, with a smile.

"Thank you" Blaine said, kissing him.

They eat cake, sing karaoke, dance, laugh and Kurt couldn't deny how good this party was. Everyone seemed to have a good time.

"You are amazing!" Blaine said and hugged Kurt tightly, "Thank you so much for this."

Kurt smiled, "You're welcome Blaine, and you deserve it."

They pulled away as Sebastian came over.

"There's my birthday boy!"

Blaine turned around and smiled slightly, "Hey Seb"

Sebastian turned out to actually be a pretty nice guy. Of course he still has that stupid smirk and flirted way too much with Blaine, but Kurt trusted Blaine, so he wasn't that worried about it. Of course, Blaine hadn't forgiven Sebastian completely, but he understood that his parents would find out some day anyway.

"So what are you plans for your big day?" Sebastian asked, of course with a little smirk.

Kurt tried not to blush and Blaine coughed slightly, "Just a quiet nice day with Kurt" he said, taking Kurt hand in his.

"Sure it's going to be quiet?" Sebastian said with a teasing voice and Kurt blushed even deeper.

It's like he knew everything they were thinking.

Blaine rolled his eyes, "We should go, need to get home before the day is over."

"Have a nice day" Sebastian winked and walked away to get more cake.

After thanking and saying goodbye to everyone, they got their stuff and walked to the car. Blaine had picked up Kurt last Sunday so they could drive together to school. They got in and Blaine started the car.

"Sorry about Seb" Blaine said, starting to drive.

"Blaine you don't have to apologize for him, I know how he can be. It's not your fault." Kurt said and laid his hand over Blaine's thigh to comfort him.

Blaine looked down at Kurt's hand before up at the road again.

Kurt moved his hand away when he realizes how close he is with red cheeks. He looked out, watching the trees with snow lying on the branches they were passing by. Kurt didn't like snow that much. It was cold and wet.

"Kurt, we don't have to do this tonight you know? I know it's my birthday, but I want you to be ready. I have other birthdays."

Kurt looked over at Blaine, "It's not about your birthday. Well, it makes it more special of course, but I'm not only doing this because it's your birthday. I'm ready, Blaine. But if you want to wait, we can do it another time."

Blaine smiled and took Kurt hand, "I'm ready too. And Cooper isn't coming home before tomorrow night… he's on a weekend trip with his new girlfriend." Blaine rolled his eyes with a little smile.

"Your birthday weekend? Wow and I thought Cooper was a good brother" he teased.

Blaine chuckled, "His girlfriend ordered the tickets without him knowing. But it's fine, I can be with you all day." Blaine smiled.

Kurt smiled back, thanking Cooper silently for leaving.

Blaine stopped the car when they got to Kurt's house.

Kurt smiled too, suddenly getting really nervous, "Good. So I'll come to your house a little later? Just have to say I'm going to a sleepover at Mercedes' house."

Blaine chuckled, "Okay, see you later"

He moved over and kissed Kurt softly on the mouth, the kiss that always took Kurt's breath away, before watching Kurt step out of the car.

Later on, Kurt walked up to Blaine's door and rang the doorbell. Kurt stopped breathing. He had never been so nervous before. After telling his father he was going to Mercedes, he'd been trying not to think too much about what was actually going to happen tonight.

Kurt was sure he was ready. He loved Blaine and he knew Blaine loved him back, even though they hadn't said it yet. He was doing that tonight. But he was still freaking out. This was all new for him, for both of them.

What if he did something wrong? What if he messed up and Blaine would get mad at him? What if he hurts Blaine? What if he doesn't like it?

Kurt is still having trouble breathing when the door opened. But the second he saw those hazel eyes, he could breathe again. Blaine was wearing a white shirt with a red cardigan over, tight jeans and an adorable bowtie. He looked amazing, breathtaking, which didn't help him control his breathing.

Blaine smiled and stepped aside to let Kurt in. Kurt walked into the warmth and took off his jacket, fixing his grey Alexander McQueen sweater and the black fitted vest, before looking up at Blaine.

"Hey" Blaine said with a smile and kissed Kurt.

Kurt kissed him back, "Hey…"

Kurt looked into his favorite eyes and could see they were nervous too, but yet calm, there was nothing else but love in them.

They both smiled at each other before Kurt looks around, "You cooked dinner?"

Kurt saw the dinner table with plates and glasses placed for two, candles and roses placed beautifully in the middle. He could smell food from the kitchen too.

Blaine looked around too and shrugged, "Just thought you would be hungry"

Kurt smiled, "It looks perfect, but you shouldn't have done this. It's your birthday, I should have made you something"

They walked to the table and Blaine being the gentleman he was, pulled out the chair for Kurt. And with a thank you, he sat down.

They ate, talking about all kinds of stuff. The Warblers and what songs they want to sing at the competition and future.

They finished the dinner and after cleaning up they walked to the little living room and sat down on the couch close, watching TV.

They sat quietly watching for a few minutes, cuddling and enjoying each other's company.

"The dinner was amazing, thank you." Kurt said after a while and Blaine smiled.

Kurt leant over and placed a few light kisses on Blaine's neck, Blaine letting his head fall back on the couch.

Kurt understood what Blaine wanted, so he continued to kiss his neck, trying to do what he had done before. This wasn't any different so just relax.

Blaine moaned Kurt's name at the feeling of his boyfriend's lips at the right places. He moved his hands down Kurt's back and stopped at his hips to bring him closer.

Not feeling close enough, Kurt moved one of his legs over Blaine to straddle his hips. They connected their lips again in a passionate kiss.

"I love you." Blaine suddenly said.

Kurt pulled back, not sure if he has heard right, "W-what?"

Blaine smiled, "I love you, Kurt. I just want you to know this before we do anything else."

"I love you too" Kurt said after catching his breath, smiling back.

Blaine smiled brightly and kissed Kurt again. Kurt kissed back, trying to get all his love into one kiss.

A low groan escaped from Blaine mouth, and he pulled Kurt even closer.

"I love you, so much." Blaine said, between kisses and Kurt's stomach flipped. He loves the sound of it.

Kurt deepened the kiss, his fingers finding his hair and pulling slightly, remembering Blaine enjoyed this.

Blaine groaned and thrust up, his hands holding Kurt's hips hard.

Kurt pulled away, making Blaine whine slightly at the loss, "We-we should go upstairs"

Kurt tried not to blush, but he could feel his face on fire so he knew he had failed.

Blaine smiled at Kurt's blushing face and kissed him softly on the lips before nodding.

Both boys got off the couch and walked up to Blaine's bedroom. Kurt suddenly felt nervous again, but the second they were in the room and Blaine was kissing him lovingly, he couldn't think about anything else than the perfect boy he was lucky to have in his arms.

After a few more kisses, they laid down on the bed close just looking at each other lovingly and thinking about how much they loved each other.

"You sure about this, right? We don't have to do this, if you don't want to. I'm-" Blaine assured Kurt, but gets interrupted by Kurt's lips on his.

Kurt pulled away slightly and whispered, "I'm ready. I love you and I want to do this. I want you."

"Okay" Blaine nodded breathless, "I love you too Kurt" he adds and kissed Kurt.

Wanting more, Kurt deepened the kiss and let his tongue run along Blaine's lip. Blaine opened his mouth to let Kurt explore it, which earned another moan from Blaine.

Kurt could feel himself getting embarrassingly hard already; those sounds his boyfriend was making and his tongue and just everything…Blaine should be illegal. How could someone be this hot?

Blaine rolled on top of Kurt and kissed down his neck, sucking on the place he knew Kurt loved.

Kurt gasped and started unbuttoning Blaine's cardigan, biting his lip.

When the last button is open, Kurt quickly dragged Blaine's cardigan down his arms and threw it somewhere on the floor. Blaine's lips came onto his again and they kiss while Kurt started to unbutton Blaine's shirt. All these stupid buttons!

When Kurt finally gets Blaine's shirt off too, with some help from Blaine, he could finally run his hands over Blaine's chest. He felt Blaine shiver under his touch as they moved around his smooth, tanned skin.

Kurt rolled them around so he was straddling Blaine. He sat up and got his vest and sweater off. He looked down at Blaine, his hair was messy and his lips were slightly swollen from the kissing. His eyes were a bit darker and Kurt had never seen anything hotter. He bit his lips and moved down again to kiss Blaine.

Kurt smiled and after taking one more breath, he kissed Blaine again. Blaine quickly kissed him back, cupping his face with one hand.
