It was coming up to the 2nd of November which would be Nevaehs 3rd birthday followed a day later by Dalton and Devons first birthday. Kurt realised in the 2 years Nevaeh has known Burt and Carole she has never been to Ohio so he thought they could celebrate both birthdays in Ohio and invite the new directions. Sam, Mercedes, Rachel, Santana and Brittany already knew Nevaeh and the boys but the others were yet to meet boys. Most of the new directions briefly met Nevaeh at Finns funeral but none of them knew it was Kurts daughter. They were thrilled when they found out she was.

‘HAPPY BIRTHDAY NEVAEH! Burt was in the living room with Carole, Kurt and the twins when Blaine had brought the little girl downstairs.

‘Grandpa Burt, Grandma Carole! The little girl nearly jumped out of Blaines arms to get to her grandparents. ‘I am three today! They acted as if they didnt already but of course they had been planning this birthday since they found out that they were coming to Ohio for the kids birthdays.

The party was brilliant and Nevaeh loved it. It was now time for Dalton and Devons party. All the warblers showed up again. Blaine was thrilled when Dalton had said ‘Dada dada and Kurt was equally thrilled when he said ‘Paa paa he was nearly there but Kurt was so glad the boys knew how to say it. Blaine was about to walk into the room when he heard Burt and Kurt talking.

‘I always wanted kids with Blaine and when he left I never stopped wanting that so when I found out Nevaeh was mine I was thrilled. Then we found out Blaine was pregnant, I was so happy. Then we found out it was twins I know we are young but I love the fact we have our whole lives ahead of us and I cant wait to marry him!

‘I still remember when you came out and thought you wouldnt ever find someone in Ohio but now youre 20 and engaged. Not only that but you have three kids. How do you think Blaine is?

‘He has separation anxiety. He hates leaving the kids for even an hour. He doesnt go to college or work. He just stays at home with the kids whilst I go to school and work.

‘Thats understandable he gave birth to those kids there is an emotional attachment.

‘Its not just that but Nevaeh hates leaving him. Blaine went out with Sam and Mercedes a couple of nights ago and Nevaeh was okay for about an hour but then...you cant tell Blaine this but she just cried for about 2 hours then I managed to get her asleep. She hates it when Blaine isnt around.

‘So what did you tell Blaine?

‘Just that she missed him but we watched a film, then she fell asleep. He cant know otherwise he wouldnt leave her, youve seen how he is with her. He doesnt let people in.

‘Okay but Blaine needs to learn its okay to leave her for a bit and Nevaeh needs to learn he always will come back for her.

‘I know I just need to persuade Blaine to go out more often.

It was later that evening When Blaine was sitting with Nevaeh he realized Kurt was already trying to get him to go out. He has three kids, he cant just go out.

‘Hey baby do you want to go to breadsticks I have missed that place so much since living in New York.

‘No thanks Nevaeh is going to bed and the twins need feeding in about an hour. Youre welcome to go though

‘Blaine my dad and Carole can deal with the kids I just want to spend some time with you. Seen as it is our last day in Ohio than we will be back into school and work.

‘I am not going okay? Parenting is full time Kurt.

‘I know that. I just want to spend time with you before the wedding.
