Dave knew he had limited time, so he started immediately. The day after Blaine’s discharge he called Kurt. His father picked up the phone. He didn’t know what to do. ‘Shit, I have to think of something.’ Dave thought. The following day he went to Kurt’s hotel. He wrote him a letter and slid it underneath his door. When Kurt got the letter he was curious. Once he opened it, he got the flashback of the note. What did Dave want?
Dear Kurt.
I’m terribly sorry for what I have done. I’d like to make it up to you. Actually, I’d like for you and Blaine to come together again. Meet me at the hospital tomorrow at 9am.
DK.
P.S. Blaine’s memory is getting better. He actually remembers Cooper and Dalton.
Kurt didn’t know if he could trust Dave, but if he could get him and Blaine together. He loved the thought of having Blaine for himself again. So, he decided to go and meet Dave.
The following morning arriving at the hospital, Kurt saw Dave and Blaine sitting at the cafeteria. He breathed deeply and went towards the table. “Hay, Kurt.” Dave said. Blaine looked at Kurt with that sexy frown of his on his face. Kurt almost melted. “Love, who is this guy?” Kurt was pulled back to reality. Blaine didn’t know who he was and Blaine was in love with Dave. He almost started to cry again, but remained calm and listened to how Dave reminded Blaine that Kurt actually was the love of his life. “So this is the Kurt you have been telling me about.” Kurt looked at Dave questionably. “Dave, did you tell Blaine that we are together.” “Yes, he’s a real dumbass, I could only love him.” Blaine said and then Kurt couldn’t help anymore. He let out a sob. Dave immediately jumped up and held Kurt. Kurt wanted to pull away, but Kurt was to hurt to move. His heart ached at Blaine’s last words. After a few seconds Blaine said: “I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to hurt you.” Kurt didn’t care. At that very moment he ripped himself out of Dave’s arms lunged forward and kissed Blaine hard. The familiar lips made him feel at home. He kept kissing.
Blaine was flabbergasted, and then. He felt it, that familiar sense of love in his heart; maybe this Kurt guy was the real love of his life. He pulled away. His mind was blown. He had never felt this way about someone by just kissing them. I should get to know him better. “I’m sorry!” Kurt got up and ran out of the hospital. Blaine wanted to get to know this guy, but he was in love with Dave, wasn’t he? “I’m sorry, Dave.” He apologized. “It is okay, Blaine. You want to go back to the hotel now?” Blaine nodded. Dave didn’t want Blaine to know that he actually didn’t want him, because Blaine was the key to Kurt’s heart. They went to the hotel room and they went to their separate beds. Blaine didn’t understand this, but Dave said it was so that Blaine’s head will heal faster. He then fell asleep.
Kurt and Blaine walked out of the bedroom. “That was mind-blowing!” “Yeah, Kurt, what has gotten into you?” “Blaine, I just love you so much and do I need an excuse to make you feel good?” Blaine just looked at him with loving eyes. “I love you” Blaine saw Kurt melt into his words and within minutes they were making out. Kurt pulled away and Blaine felt disappointed. “What’s the time?” Blaine looked on his phone. “It’s 7 pm, why?” “Perfect! Elizabeth Taylor’s jewellery auction will be on TV at 7:30. Would you watch with me?” Blaine couldn’t help but smile his goofy smile at how Kurt fluttered his lashes. “As long as you cuddle with me?” Kurt smiled: “That, my love, will be an honour.”
Was this a memory or a fantasy? Blaine didn’t know, but he had to find out. And soon.
