“Mister Anderson is not dead, he just, and I don’t know how to say this, Mister Hummel.” Kurt couldn’t stand handling Blaine just lying in bed, just in a coma, and couldn’t take care of himself. “Blaine had major brain damage done. He can’t remember anything, the only thing he remember is someone named Dave Karofsky and he claims that he wants to see this Dave, because Dave was the love of his life.” Kurt sobbed. He expected death, but this was even worse. Blaine couldn’t remember him, and he never will. “But sweetie, I have good news. He might restore his memory, but this will only happen in time.” Then he realised it. “He doesn’t remember me?” “Not yet...” He sobbed helplessly. After 5 minutes and him calming down, the nurse, which he came to know as Elle asked: “Kurt, do you want to go see him.”Kurt thought it could help Blaine remember him. “If I may?” She led him to Blaine’s room. Room 323. When he entered, Blaine looked at him. It seemed as if Blaine could have a spark of memory. “Hallo Blaine...” Blaine saw red eyes staring at him, and he thought this boy was gorgeous. But how did he know his name? “Who are you?” The Auburn-haired man in front of him fell to the floor and sobbed like a baby. He saw the nurse comfort him and then he thought about the man he was looking for. “Where is Dave?”
That night Kurt went home and rolled around in bed. He couldn’t sleep! All he thought of was the man he loved.
Did you forget, that I was even alive, did you forget, everything we ever had, did you forget, did you forget, about me?
Kurt knew Blaine forgot him, and there was nothing he could do about it. Blaine didn’t want to see him. He just wanted the man that caused this. At 3am he finally fell asleep and had the nightmare where Blaine and he walked on the beach. He sobbed himself awake at 7 am and got up. He tried to have breakfast, but he couldn’t eat. At 9pm his phone buzzed. He didn’t recognize the number, and considered to ignore the call, but he hoped it was the hospital to say that Blaine was fine and that he was restored fully. “Kurt talking?” His voice sounded weak. “Mister Hummel. This is Sergeant Green. I handle the case regarding Mister Dave Karofsky.” Kurt had completely forgotten about the police and everyone involved, he just thought about Blaine. “Are you there, mister Hummel?” “Yes.” Then the sergeant told him that they were going to need him to come in and clarify his part. After that they will have the judge to decide what happens to Karofsky. “See you at 2 pm, Mister Hummel, Goodbye.” Kurt put down his phone, got undressed and took a shower. After the shower, he got in his car and went to the address the sergeant gave him. He told them everything they knew and Sgt. Green told him that he could stay until after the judge’s decision, so he stayed. He had nothing else to do.
