Oh Crap

"Ugh.... Hey Q. Whats shakin bacon?" Kurt said trying to avoid the previous question.

"Nice try sweetheart. Answer the question Im your friend. You can tell me anything." Quinn said walking over to the mirror to wash her hands and make sure her makeup was on point.  Kurt looked away trying to figure out the best escape root and excuse to leave without being suspicious.

"What was the question again?" He said realizing every excuse would be suspicious

"What Boyfriend?" Quinn said making sure to pronounce every syllable ever so slowly.

"Oh um I dont have a boyfriend. Silly, you should know that. I mean seriously were on the Cheerios and the New Directions together. You guys are my family I tell you everything."  Kurt was speaking fast mumbling even barley breathing between sentences, which are a sure signs of lying.

"Honey come on just tell me. I wont tell anyone I promise. I really do, I swear on god himself."

"I dont have a boyfriend. End. Of. Story."  Kurt felt guilty lying to one of his closest friends but he had to do it. He couldnt tell her he was dating the known to be homophobic jock who doesnt want to come out yet.

"Kurt I heard you mumbling when you walked in. You were all worried about your boyfriend and you and Blaines little budding romance."

"Me and Blaine dont have a budding romance. ALSO I dont have a boyfriend."  Kurt said guiltier every time.

"Okay whatever you say. We should get back anyways." Quinn turned and walked out the door with a little shimmy in her hips that he knows wasnt there before.

When Kurt got home that day he went straight upstairs into his room and started doing his homework, wanting to ignore any idiotic thing his stepbrother has to say about the encounter in Glee.

Earlier in Glee when Kurt came back from the bathroom everyone was sitting down in their seats. Everything seemed to be normal no weird looks or curious faces. Its not that he didnt trust Quinn, he did, but it was just she could be a Bitch sometimes. You just never know with her. After that they talked a bit more about song selections then headed home.

All of a sudden there was a knock on Kurts door.

"Come in." Kurt said not turning from his desk.

"What do you want Finn im kinda-" Kurt turned around and to see not Finn but Blaine standing in the doorway.

"Hey Kurt um your brother let me in. I hope thats okay. I thought we could hang out and maybe talk." Blaine was leaning up against the door frame not looking as confident as he did the first two encounters.

"Ummmmm, Hey Blaine was not expecting to see you. Im kinda busy with homework and stuff but we can hang out another time?" Kurt said really confused why he was here in his house in his room even.

"Sorry I know I just dropped in on you but I was hoping we could talk about today in Glee."  Blaine said not making eye contact with Kurt but stepping in a little closer.

"Oh that. Just give me a sec, make yourself comfortable anywhere." Blaine stepped in closing the door and sitting on the edge of Kurts bed, pulling out his phone while waiting.

What the hell is he doing here? I just met him today? OMG what if he makes a move? How did he know where we live?

Kurt had all of these thoughts swirling in his head as he cleaned up his desk and went to sit at the top of his bed, grabbing his pillow and clasping it to his chest.  Blaine turned around sliding his phone back in his pocket and saying,

"Look I know I just met you and this may seem like Im a stalker or something but Im not. Can you just listen for a minute so I can explain?" Kurt nodded getting a little worried as Blaine moved up a bit on the bed only a few inches from Kurts knee.

"Okay so here I go." Blaine took a deep breath as he began to explain. "I know I was a total lunatic this morning but Ive been bullied before and I just ran and hid instead of fighting back. So when you said the teachers wouldnt do anything in pissed me off. I wanted to prove I wouldnt run and hide but I would fight back." Blaine looked up from his lap and making sure Kurt was still listening.

"And I asked around because, well I do think your cute and I was happy to find out you were gay." He slid a bit more up the bed his leg now touching Kurt. Kurt tensed up when the connection was made panicking even more.

"Look Im new at all of this. I never had a boyfriend or asked anyone out on a date. I also know I just met you this morning and I know I am coming on strong but I just feel like there is something here." Blaine placed his hand on Kurts knee felling how he once again tensed up. Fear in his eyes.

Oh my god hes making a move!!  Kurt was thinking panic in his eyes.

"I think your amazing, your voice, your dance moves, especially your dance moves" He said with a wink. "Im sorry if this is scaring you but I figured why the hell not. When you said you thought I was cute earlier I was so happy. Thats what gave me the confidence to come here and ask you this." Blaine looked into Kurts eyes.

"Will you go on a date with me?" Blaine had such a hopeful smile on his face.

Kurt froze. Did that really just happen? Did an out and proud guy just ask Kurt out? What can he say? Does he tell him he has a boyfriend or go out with him.

Kurt pushed Blaines hand off his knee giving Blaine a worried look. Kurt got off the bed and started pacing.

"Im sorry am I freaking you out? I know we just met and everything but I just thought..." Blaine stopped not knowing what to say.

"Ummmmm I c-cant Im sorry." Kurt said looking at Blaine.

"Oh, why not?"

"I have a boyfriend." Those words were out of his mouth before he knew what he was saying.

Blaine looked at Kurt surprised and confused.

"I thought- everyone I asked said you were single. That you have never had a boyfriend either."

Kurt watched Blaine as he stood up staring at Kurt waiting for answers. Kurt didnt know what to do. He just stared at Blaine as surprised as he was.

"I ugh I do have a boyfriend."

"Is this some trick because you dont want to go out with me?" Blaine said hurt and confused.

Kurt ran over to him putting his hands on Blaines shoulders.

"No I swear. I do. You cant tell ANYONE. Not even Finn knows. Please promise you wont tell. My boyfriend he- he doesnt want to come out yet hes scared."

"I wont tell I promise. Im embarrassed but I promise." Blaine said turning towards the door while knocking Kurts arms off his shoulders.

"No dont go we can still hang out. Dont be embarrassed. I really do want to be friends." Blaine turned around surprised at what he heard.

"You still want to be my friend even though I hit on you?"

"Of course. Your new here you mine as well have as many friends as you need, to protect you from those Neanderthals." Kurt said with a small chuckle.

"Thanks. I would like to be your friend even if thats all we ever are." Kurt leaned in and gave Blaine a hug to assure him they were fine.

"You know your right. We just met but it feels like Ive known you forever. I know well be great friends." Kurt said pulling back from the hug.

"I hope so."

Blaine never pushed it further that night they just talked and got to know each other while watching every Disney musical Kurt owned in the living room. Kurt was finally relaxed and was ready for this friendship to begin.
