The Light That Guides Us : Prologue

Author's Notes: Ok Guys, this is my first EVER m-preg story, so if it gets off to a bad start, don't be all this sucks and everything. One of my fanfiction friends is giving me some tips on how to write this, so yeah, enjoy!
Ok, Kurt knew something was wrong. He never got sick. Never! After he recent trip to the bathroom, it was the fourth time he had puked in the whole day! This couldn't just be the stomach bug, could it?
Well, he decided to do some internet research. Maybe just a bad case of the flu or stomach virus, right?
Kurt opened his internet browser and typed in google. After getting to the page, he typed in symptoms. Nausea, Vomiting, Headaches, Pain, Fatigue.
He scrolled down though the many articles about flu, stomach virus, even just bad cases of stress.
Then, at the middle to bottom of the page, he saw an article that caught his eye.
MALE PREGNANCY CASE FOUND-RARE-READ THE STORY HERE!
"No!" Kurt thought. "It can't be."
He read the article about a couple residing in New York. A gay couple. Zach and Riley. They had unprotected sex and Zach had been having symptoms. Kurt's symptoms. He apperently went to the doctor, and found out, that it was rare in men, but he had a condition called M-Preg. It is when someone is a carrier, as they called it, allowing men to become pregnant. He read about how the boys had went to the doctor and she had given them a basic pregnancy test, just to check. It had come out positive.
Kurt decided to go to the local drug store. He would pick up a few items, to make it not look suspicious, and then he would buy the test. Say it was for a friend. Or a cousin or something and that she didn't want to come pick it up. It was a perfect plan.
Kurt got ready and told his dad he was going to the drug store to pick up a few things. His dad didn't question him, luckilly, and he got into the car and drove until he reached the Lima Local Market. It was a small store, a drug store, containing pretty much everything you would need.
He walked around the isles and finally picked up three pregnancy tests.
He set all the items down on the counter, popcorn, a two-liter pepsi soda, and the pregnancy tests.
The lady at the counter, Melissa, as her name tag read, gave him a strange look.
"Oh, it's for a friend. A cousin actually. She's twenty, but she had told me she thought she was pregnant, and asked if I could pick them up for her." Kurt lied easily.
"Oh, Ok then. Your total is 51.49, Sir." the lady read off, as she typed the final price into the cash register.
"Geez, these things are expensive." Kurt thought has he handed the lady a fifty and five dollar bill.
Recieving the change, he left the store, returned home, put the popcorn and soda in the pantry and ran up to his room.
He entered the bathroom, took the test, and left it there for five minutes, the time appointed on the box.
He checked the time about five minutes later, and slowly but surely walked into the room.
Well Shit. It was positive. Sitting there in big pink letters.
And that is when Kurt finally broke down in sobs, sitting beside the toliet in his bathroom.
End Notes: Bad? Or Not?? I need reviews to help me!! haha! I need feedback. Anyways, If it's totally sucky at the beggining, don't worry. It'll get better with time, maybe? haha. (:

It's adorable! I've never really had characters do a home birth unless they can't get to the hospital fast enough... :/
Yeah, I haven't seen many mpreg fics do that, but I wanted to because it was different and it would interesting! :D I'm glad you like it!

so i'm totally intrigued by this. so i'm in. mpregs are my crack and i needs my fics (fix) :) but something is missing here, but i'm not really sure what. maybe it's "the other guy"–the one that knocked kurt up. even just a mention about who kurt was dating at the time or maybe a memory of kurt's first time–nothing too big, just enough to give the impression that kurt is or has been engaging in sexual activities. as it is here, it kind of feels like an alien entity has impregnated him. movin' on ch 2!
