It seemed like it took forever, to Kurt, to get to the birthing center. Kurt wanted to give birth at the birthing center instead of the hospital, because it seemed like a more relaxing place to have their baby, and he didn't like IV's. In reality it only took a few minutes. Soon enough, they were settled into a birthing room, as their midwife came to check on him.

"So, Kurt. I want you to just relax and spread your legs, and prop them up for me." The midwide says, with a smile, as she puts on pink latex gloves, spreading Kurt's legs and beginning to check for his progress.

"Okay, Kurt. You're three centimeters dialted, and it's looking good so far. Now, before then next contraction comes, I want to talk about your birthing plans. What do you want with the birth today, Kurt?" The midwide asks, taking out a pen and her paper to jot down the notes.

"I just wanted to be able to relax and follow my body. I know this room has a birthing tub and ball, so I just want to be able to relax and deliver naturally." Kurt answers, rubbing his bump.

"Alrighty." The midwife replies. "I'll come back to check your progress again in an hour. Feel free to walk around the room, use the ball, the rocking chair, anything you need. If you want us to fill the tub, just call us and we'll set it up."

"Okay." Kurt smiles, as the midwife leaves the room.

"So, do you need anything baby?" asks Blaine, as he climbs into the bed beside Kurt.

"Not at the moment. Things are going just fi-" Kurt suddenly tenses up, taking in a big gulp of air before breathing out.

"Contraction?" Blaine asks, getting a quick nod from Kurt, along with a painful moan.

"Here, let me rub your back,baby. Sit up, and just keep breathing. You're doing great." Blaine says, climbing in behind Kurt, letting him relax into Blaine's chest. Kurt continues to breath, as he grips both of Blaine's hands, giving them a squeeze as the pain increases, then finally wears off.

"That's been the worst one so are." Kurt breaths out,letting go of Blaine's hands as Blaine begins to rub Kurt's back, applying pressure.

"You're doing amazing, sweetie." Blaine says, giving Kurt a kiss to his sweaty hair.

"Oh, can you hand me my phone? I want to call Dad and Carole and let them know labor started." Kurt says, as Blaine reaches over on the nightstand table, handing Kurt his phone.

Kurt dials Burt's number, Burt picking up on the second ring. "Hey, son. How are you doing?"

"Well , you'll probably be a grandpa pretty soon. I started labor a little while ago, and we just got settled in at the birth center. I'm at three centimiters right now, and my waters already broken." Kurt explains, as he hears his dad slamming a door over the phone.

"Oh my gosh. I just told Carole. We're loading everything up, and we'll be there tomorrow, hopefully." Burt says.

"Thanks, dad." Kurt smiles, finishing the phone call just as another contraction hits.

"Mmhh." Kurt moans, scrunching up his eyes, and  squeezing Blaines hands once again. He arches his back, leaning into Blaine's chest as he breathes in through his nose and out through his mouth, pulling his legs back and propping them up.

The contraction ends pretty quickly, much to Kurt's pleasure. "Can we get up and walk a bit, just in the room? And use the birthing ball? Maybe some excersises? I really want to get this baby moving down." Kurt says, looking up to Blaine, hope in his eyes.

"Of course baby."Blaine replies, helping Kurt out of the bed. They are finally up, when another contraction reaches Kurt.

Kurt and Blaine are embraced in each other, as Kurt lets out another breathy and painful groan, and wrapping his arms around Blaine's neck. Blaine and Kurt sway together, as Kurt tries to get the baby to drop lower. All he wants is to be able to push already, and have his little girl wrapped safetly in his arms.
