"Camping? You're going camping with your ex husband? You? Kurt Hummel? Camping? With your ex husband?" telling Adam was obviously going to be the most difficult thing Kurt would have to do. Adam would never understand his family, so he didn't expect it to go down too well at all.
"Yes I'm going camping. Me. Kurt Hummel. Camping. With my not quite ex husband and our daughter." Kurt bit back, he was tired of Adam, he had meant what he said the previous night to Liza, he didn't love the man, well not in the way he loved Blaine. His relationship with Blaine at the moment was a messy one, and he didn't even know if Blaine still loved him, after the way he treated him he wouldn't be surprised. Maybe that's why he wet out with Sebastian, because he didn't love Kurt any more. Stop. Kurt had to stop thinking like this.
"No you're not going." Adam said giving him a stern look.
"Oh. I'm so sorry. This is really awkward. I think I gave you the wrong impression. I think maybe you thought I was asking you. Because I wasn't. I'm definitely going, whether you like it or not." He pulled a cocky grin at Adam and walked toward the stairs. "Liza, are you almost ready?" he shouted up to his daughter and she came pounding down a second later with a giant rucksack on her back.
"Ready." She smiled a her Dad.
"Okay go wait in the car, can you take my bag too please and put it in the trunk?" He threw the keys to her and she looked toward the door to see a huge suitcase.
"Dad, we're going camping, not a spa."
"And in this suitcase I am fully equipped with everything that I will need in the middle of nowhere. Now go wait in the car and I will be out in a second." She grabbed the suit case handle and left the house leaving the door open just a little bit for Kurt.
"Kurt are you stupid or something? This is clearly just a plot for Blaine to lure you into bed!" And yelled at him as soon as Liza had left.
"Well at least he's luring not forcing." He spat back at Adam who didn't take this comment lightly, he bounded up to Kurt and pinned his against the wall by his upper arms. "You really need to get a new move Adam, getting pinned to stuff doesn't really have the same affect as it used to. Now I just get bored." and he pushed Adam off him, and started walking toward the door.
"Kurt if you walk out of that door don't even think about coming back."
"There's one thing you're forgetting Adam. This is my house." Kurt stepped through the door and he could already see Liza's eyes on him. Suddenly he felt a hand on his arm turning him around.
"Kurt, don't go, please. You're mine and I want you to stay. Please Kurt."
"Oh Adam." He said giving his voice false affection. "I was never yours." and with that Kurt lifted his knee to connect with Adam's balls and Adam fell to the ground clutching them. Kurt could hear faint "Whooping" coming from the car. He turned around to see Liza smiling at him and doing a little dance in the passenger seat. He quickly ran back to the house and grabbed Adam's keys he took off the one for the house and out it in his pocket. As he left he locked the door so there was no way for Adam to get back in. He had to make a mental note to get the locks changed when he got back. As he was walking back to the car, he crouched down next to Adam who was still lying paralysed on the floor looking at Kurt, his hands still clutched to his now very aching balls.
"You can get your stuff when I get back but if you come near me and my family, it won't be just your balls that ache." He didn't realise Liza had wound the windows down until heard...
"Yeah! You tell him Dad." He left Adam and jumped in the car, closed the door and turned on the engine."Come on Dad, lets go before you change your mind."
"Never. You come first now." They both leant in and hugged like they hadn't in a while. He knew that he had his daughter back. He knew he'd done the right thing for both of them. He decided to drive off when he saw Adam moving again.
"You have to let me tell Dad." His daughter said while laughing to herself.
As they reached Blaine's apartment, Liza jumped out of the car and ran through the door to enter the building. Kurt quickly turned off the engine got out of the car and locked it, he then ran after her. He had no idea where Blaine's apartment was, as he had never been there before, which was strange now he thought about it.
"Liza wait." He caught her just as she got up the first flight of stairs, when they reached the second Liza ran to the first door on that floor ad started knocking on it. He guessed it was Blaine's, as his Husband soon opened the door in his sweatpants and a hoody, Kurt loved it when he looked like that, he just looked so natural. He watched as Blaine hugged Liza and let her in the apartment and he turned towards Kurt, they still didn't know how to greet each other without it being awkward. They settled for simply hugging each other.
Kurt liked Blaine's apartment but it was really small, too small for Blaine and Liza both, he hated knowing it was because of him Blaine had to live here. As soon as they walked in Liza was telling Blaine what happened.
"But seriously Dad it was awesome, I don't know what happen inside but all I saw was Dad and Adam walking out, Adam grabbed his arm and Dad kneed him right in the nads and then he took his house keys off of him and was all like 'come near us again it won't be just your balls that ache'. It was just so cool." Liza stalked off to the kitchen to roam around the fridge. Blaine looked at Kurt with concern.
"He didn't hurt you did he?" Kurt was quite shocked with Blaine's concern and he wanted to just shout 'Yes! He hurt me! He forced me into sex more than once and didn't hesitate to teach mewho was in charge' and then run into Blaine's arms. But he didn't, not with Liza there he gave him the look that just said 'I'll tell you later' and Blaine sent one back that just showed pity and upset. Blaine didn't want to know Kurt had been hurt and felt bad he had let it happen, and it was like Kurt understood what he was thinking and he just shook his head at him, basically telling Blaine it wasn't his fault. After their voiceless conversation, they decided it was time to leave. They got Liza and Kurt's bags out of the car, which included Blaine also reminding Kurt they were only going camping, and they put them into Blaine's car along with his own bag, and they headed off ready for an eventful weekend as a family.
