The next Day Blaine got up and out of bed with little effort, he didn't even look at what he was wearing and none of his clothes matched. He went downstairs but didn't go for breakfast as he hadn't spoke to either Grandparent since coming out he knew he's have to speak eventually but he figured the longer he left it the better. He drove off to school as he got there, he slowly got his things and made his way to his locker, as he opened the small door he found a note:
Blaine
Please meet me in the Chem room at lunch
I need to explain
even if you don't come I will find a way to talk to you!
Kurt
Blaine just screwed up the not and threw it away in a nearby bin. He had no intention of meeting up with Kurt, In fact he didn't want to see anybody today, he loved Mercedes but he's be seeing he tonight at the Party. So Blaine carried on with his day. Lunch time came and went and he stuck to his guns and didn't go see Kurt. The down side of this however was that he wouldn't stop thinking about the shorter boy all day.
After his last period he got up and grabbed his stuff and managed to get out of the school without seeing Kurt, well that was until he reached his car and saw Kurt leaning up against it.
"You didn't show up today at lunch."
"Can you get off of my car please?"
"No not until you talk to me."
"I am talking to you, and I am asking you nicely to please get off of my car." Kurt stood up ,but as he did Blaine tried to get to his door handle as fast as he could, but as he reached for it Kurt pushed him up against the door.
"Get off of me!"
"Please just get me explain what happened the other day, about what you saw."
"I don't want to hear you your lame ass excuses! Just get off me and let me go home!" Blaine could feel Kurt's face getting closer to his.
"I need you to know what happened, so you don't start jumping to conclusions!"
"I know what happened, I saw you, remember?"
"Will you just shut up and listen?"
"Make me." As he said it, Kurt finally closed the gap between them and crushed their lips together. Luckily Blaine had parked quite far to the back of the car park so there was no chance of them getting caught. As the kissing got more passionate Kurt slid one of his legs in between Blaine's who was stuck pushed up against his car, and he ground his hips into Blaine's, earning himself a small moan from the smaller boy, he took it as his cue to continue, Blaine took it as his cue to stop.
"N-no! We have to stop!" Blaine exclaimed as he pulled his mouth away from Kurt.
"No babe come on, I'm so hard for you right now!" Kurt started kissing across Blaine's jaw.
"Then get your boyfriend to fix your problem, because I won't! Now please just get off me."
"No I want you so bad." He carried on kissing down Blaine's neck and across his Adam's apple.
"I said get of!" And Blaine lifted the knee he had between Kurt's legs and got Kurt right in the balls. Kurt's eyes shot up and he fell to the ground clutching them, paralysed with his mouth wide, coughing and gasping for air. Blaine took that as his cue to jump in his car and drive off as fast as he could.
As Blaine got home, he saw that no one was in so he just ran right up to his room, chucked his bag to the corner of the room, climbed onto his bed and cried. He looked at the clock and realised it was already five O'clock he said he's be at Mercedes house at half past six, he knew he should start getting ready but he couldn't stop thinking about Kurt. Blaine had never deliberately hurt someone in his life and now there was someone who was still probably lying on the cold floor where his car was parked not twenty minutes ago, and he felt bad about it he really did, he knew it was going to play on his mind and eat at him up, so he decided getting ready for tonight would take his mind off of it.
Mercedes had told him weeks ago before he met Kurt that her gay cousin was going to be at the party, this was Blaine's chance to maybe get one up on Kurt, you'd think kicking him in the balls would do that but Blaine still felt hurt. He went into his closet and found his tightest black jeans, with it he wore a neatly ironed black shirt and a nicely fitted black waste coat. He checked himself in the mirror and deducted he looked hot. He usually wasn't one for vanity but he decided that was all going to change. He still had around an hour to go until Mercedes party so he went downstairs to get some food, he did want anything too heavy as he was planning on getting wasted tonight and he didn't want too much food to soak up the alcohol. He got out the bread, ham and salad and made him self a sandwich, he sat down at the table and just as he was about to take a bite he heard the front door open. This was the last thing he needed. He just sighed and put the sandwich back on the plate and waited for who ever it was to enter the kitchen. It was his Grandfather. His stomach dropped as he awaited for the hitting to start, but it never came instead his Grandmother also walked into the kitchen.
"Don't go near him. I thought you were packing?" She looked up at her husband with disgust. Blaine was now very confused as to what was happening. His grandfather skulked out of the kitchen and made his way upstairs.
"Grandma? What's going on?"
"Your Grandfather is leaving." she said without looking at him
"What? Why?" Now she was looking at him with a shocked expression on her face
"Why? Blaine? Why? You were there yesterday weren't you? After what he did to you?"
"That wasn't anything grandma, he was just angry." he tried to smile it off.
"He told me everything." But his smile soon dropped.
"Everything?"
"Everything." She knelt down so she was eye level with him and she took his hands in hers and she had tears in her eyes. "After your parents died, I decided that we would take you in, in order to protect you. I didn't know then that I was just putting you in danger and I am so truly sorry sweetheart." She broke down and Blaine just held her in his arms. He cupped and hep her teary face in his hands and wiped the tears away with his thumbs.
"Grandma listen to me." He looked her directly in the eye, his eyes were also filling with tears. "None of this was your fault."
"How can you say that when-"
"Hey. No listen. None of it was your fault. I could have told you what happened but I didn't want you to know. He is the love of your life and no offence grandma but your getting old, you can't be too picky-" She just chuckled lightly.
"Cheeky."
"So I didn't tell you and besides I didn't know if you'd believe me. I love you more than anything in this world and I am so grateful to have you as a grandma. The other day when you saw me and Kurt you could have run a mile or disowned me or anything but you didn't you just told me my dinner was getting cold." They both laughed again as they remembered. "And for things like that, that make you so amazing and special, I couldn't have told you, I didn't want to be the person to take that smile off of your face."
"Sweetheart, I hope you also know that it wasn't your fault either, and to be honest your grandfather has always been like this, he always cared about his image to the community more than he cared about his own family. And I should have know something like this was going to happen eventually but I should have seen through it, I have been married to him for most of my life and I didn't even see it happening right under my nose."
"Okay we have to stop this." He stood up and wiped his tears away and she did the same. He took her hands. "This was not your fault and it was not my fault. It was his. He alone ruined this family and we have to stop blaming our selves."
The heard the stairs creek and hey quickly pulled them selves together and Judy pulled Blaine into a protective hug as they starred at the door waiting for him to walk through. As he did her grip on Blaine tightened.
"Yes?" She asked with as much impatiences as she could put into it.
"I just think you should think this over Judy, it's me Harold your husband."
"Yes you are Harold my husband, you are also the bastard who had been hurting my grandson and I will not let you anywhere near him again. Now leave and don't even think about coming back."
"Judy I-"
"Go!" She shouted in his face.
"Fine I don't want to live here with a filthy fag anyway." And he left the house and Blaine and his grandma hugged just so tight, like they never wanted to let go, like letting go was something bad. As they parted and wiped away tears. Judy looked her grandson up and down.
"You look great sweetheart, going anywhere nice?"
"It's Mercedes party remember?"
"Oh yeah, we you will kill it, you look amazing." She smiled and pinched his cheek which made him blush.
"Actually I don't think I'll go, I don't want to leave you alone tonight not after everything."
"No come on. You are going to that party! I don't want him to ruin any more of your childhood now go finish getting ready."
"I was just going to eat before I left, did you want me to make you a sandwich too? Its ham salad..your favourite."
"I can make it my self sweetie but thank you, you just eat yours and go and do your hair."
"What? I've already done my hair, are you saying you don't like it?" He said putting a hand to his chest in jest and pretended to be shocked.
"Shut up and eat your sandwich." She replied and slapped him over the head.
"I love you Grandma."
"I love you too Blaine."
Blaine was the first person to arrive at Mercedes house, he was helping her set out the table of alcohol.
"'Cedes don't you think we should hide all of your valuable stuff, if your parents find out about this party they will freak!"
"It's a good thing they won't found then isn't it? And yeah could you maybe hide those vases up in my room please?"
"Sure."
"You holding up okay?"
"Yeah, I just feel bad leaving Grandma alone tonight." Blaine had told her about his grandfather leaving but not the reasons, he just told her they had split up.
"She told you to come didn't she?" He nodded and she poured two shots of straight vodka. "So get this down you, and then go put the vases in my room." as they both swallowed the shots in one go they scrunched their face in disgust. "And there will be another one waiting for you when you come down."
"Okay, love you."
"Love you too."
An hour later the party was in full swing and Blaine was already extremely drunk, he was in the kitchen talking to Mercedes cousin, Jared.
"So you go to school with Mercedes?"
"Yeah she's great, she's like my best friend, you know?"
"Yeah I understand the concept of friends." The older guy by two years laughed.
"So are you like in college?"
"Yeah I'm just back for a while though."
"Awesome, what do you study?"
"Geophysics."
"That's a thing?" Jared laughed again.
"Yeah, it's like the physics of the earth like magma fluid dynamics and seismic wave propagation." Blaine just looked at him open mouthed. He didn't understand a word the guy just said but was nodding like he did.
"Hot and smart."
"You think I'm hot?" Blaine just tried to laugh it off.
"If you hadn't noticed I am extremely drunk." Blaine didn't realise how bad that sounded, but like he said, we was extremely drunk.
"Oh wow. I'm really stupid." It was only when Jared started walking away that Blaine realised what he had said.
"No, sorry I didn't mean it like that, you are hot, so hot, I would think you were hot if I was sober, all I meant was that I lose all my inhibitions when I'm drunk."
"Is that really a bad thing?" Jared smiled and got gradually closer to Blaine until he had an arm around Blaine's waste pulling the smaller boy close to him.
"I guess not."
"Then lets get you another drink." He smiled at Blaine and lead him to the other room where the alcohol was. A bit later the two boys had found their way up to Mercedes room. They were lying on her bed.
"Why are there vases around the floor?" Jared asked after a moment of confusion
"We figured they'd be safe in here, away from the party, so her parent wouldn't guess anything had happened here."
"So is anything going to happen here?" Jared looked Blaine. Blaine was lying on his back staring at the ceiling while Jared was lying on his side looking at Blaine.
"What do you mean?"
"You know exactly what I mean."
"Well I don't mind."
"I thought you said you lost all your inhibitions when you were drunk."
"I did say that didn't I?" Blaine smiled at the taller and older guy beside him, until Jared was half on top of him, then Blaine just closed his eyes and waited for their lips to meet which they did eventually. Jared had one hand on Blaine's side and was leaning on the other. Blaine had one arm around Jared's waste and one around his neck bringing him closer. Just as it was getting more heated and passionate, they heard the door swing open with a bang. The pulled apart fast and as Blaine tuned to look who had disturbed them he growled in frustration. It was Kurt and the older guy Blaine had seen him with a couple of day's before.
"Leave me alone." Blaine shouted at him.
"Blaine you know this guy?"
"Yeah I'm his boyfriend." Kurt replied.
"What?" Jared was shocked, he didn't think Blaine was the type to cheat.
"He's not my boyfriend."
"Then who is he?"
"He's my boyfriend." The tall guy behind Kurt chimed in.
"No I'm not." Kurt replied. "Blaine can we talk?"
"I think I made myself perfectly clear with the knee to the balls that I do not want to talk to you."
"Holy shit that was you? Dude if I had a clue who you were I'd give you a high five fight now."
"Shut up Sebastian." Kurt slapped the tall guy in the stomach.
"What are you even doing here Kurt? I'm not interested in talking to you."
"Mercedes told me to come so I can talk to you."
"Why would she do that?"
"Because she let me explain myself and she thought you should hear it too. Do you think Mercedes would agree to this if she knew it would hurt you?"
"I guess not."
"Then can we please go into another room and talk?"
"Fine." Blaine got up off of the bed and walked over to Kurt who was still standing in the door way.
"Blaine?" Jared shouted across at Blaine.
"Don't worry I'll be back." Blaine said to him and he walked out the door.
"Sebastian stay here." Kurt said warningly at the tall boy.
"I feel really old around all these high school kids." Sebastian pointed out.
"You are really old, get over it." and with that Kurt closed the bedroom door and headed to another room with Blaine. It was the spear room. They both sat down on the bed and let the awkward silence wash over them.
"So?" Blaine began.
"Yeah."
"Kurt?"
"Yeah."
"You're suppose to be explaining yourself?"
"Oh right yeah, I guess I don't really know how to start."
"How about the fact that you came here to explain why you were with another guy, and you came here with said other guy."
"Look I wish Sebastian would just disappear, I really would but I don't trust him at my home, at all."
"So, who is Sebastian?"
"Right yeah, do you remember when I told you about the older guy who I lost my virginity too at thirteen?"
"Yeah."
"Well that's Sebastian."
"Great that makes my feelings towards him so much better." Blaine let out an awkward chuckle.
"What you saw the other day was nothing, I know yeah something happened but- this is going to sound really weird but as I was taking my shirt of when I was with him" Blaine flinched at the memory. "I thought about Tuesday night when we were together at my house, remember? And I remembered when I took off my shirt then and I remembered you, you Blaine, and I had to stop, I couldn't go through with it." Kurt grabbed Blaine's hand. "I don't know what you have done to me, the old me wouldn't have given a shit about someone he met a week ago. But there's just something about you that I can't seem to stop thinking about. Did you notice I even dyed my hair." Blaine hadn't noticed, he looked up and saw that Kurt no longer had his dirty blonde hair but it was the same chestnut colour he had seen in all of the old pictures he saw of Kurt at his house. Blaine gave him a gentle smile.
"Your hair looks great, I bet your Dad's happy."
"Yeah he wanted to do it for me." They both laughed at this. "but I assured him that a professional would do a better job."
"You actually went to a salon?"
"What? It was the only way I would get my natural colour back." Blaine just smiled at him again. "Does this mean we're good?"
"Well I'll have to think about that."
"Come on babe, you already kneed me in the balls wasn't that enough punishment?"
"I guess." Blaine leaned forward and captured Kurt's lips in a sweet kiss. "wait you didn't tell me why Sebastian is with you."
"Oh his boyfriend kicked him out of their house after he found him cheating so he came running back, he's been sleeping on the couch for the last couple of nights."
"The couch? But you have a spear room"
"I know, but he doesn't." Kurt just smiled mischievously at Blaine and leaned into kiss him again. They got up and left the room hand in hand. "Oh by the way you look hot tonight."
"Thanks but I guess I'll have to go let Jared down."
As they open the door they both had faces of disgust as what they saw was both Sebastian and Jared naked, Jared straddling Sebastian bouncing up and down on his cock. They quickly closed the door and shuddered.
"That's an image that I think is now burned in my mind for all of eternity." Kurt said looking like he was about to throw up.
"Do you want to go home?"
"I don't mind do you?"
"Well I feel kind of queasy thanks to that alcohol."
"Do you want me to walk you back, but if it will provoke your grandfather I don't want to get you into trouble."
"Actually, my Grandma kicked him out."
"She did?"
"Yeah, I actually want to get back to her I don't want her to be left alone for too long."
"Okay well I'll walk you back."
As they got to Blaine's front door, Kurt pulled him into a tight hug.
"Blaine Anderson, will you accompany me to Breadsticks tomorrow night?"
"Well that depends."
"On what?"
"Are you paying?" Blaine sent him a cheeky grin.
"If I say yes will you come?"
"I'll consider it."
"Blaine please!"
"Okay yes fine I will come. What time?"
"I will pick you up at seven."
"It's a date."
"Goodnight Blaine." Kurt cupped Blaine's face and lead them in a really full on passionate kiss. As they parted Blaine smiled for the millionth time that night.
"Goodnight Kurt." Blaine turned to go into his house and Kurt turned towards the street. "Kurt wait!" Kurt turned round to see Blaine looking shyly towards the ground.
"What?"
"Are we like boyfriends now?"
"Do you want us to be boyfriends?"
"Sort of."
"I'm going to need a definite yes or-"
"Yes fine. Yes I want us to be boyfriends." Blaine laughed
"Then that's what we are."
"Goodnight again Kurt."
"You too baby."
Blaine walked into his house and did a little excited jig to himself. That was it. Blaine Anderson had a boyfriend.
You think now they'd live happily ever after, but they didn't see the skulking figure in the shadows watching them as they kissed goodbye and declared themselves as boyfriends.
