So this is what hell felt like? Thought Kurt, they had been studying for the last half an hour, Blaine was still rambling on as he was when they started. Kurt just sat there tapping his pen, feeling like he was in a Brittany video, his eyes were everywhere looking for something, anything to distract him from whatever Blaine was babbling on about.
"...And that's why you sweat when you are hot, it's your bodies reaction to try and cool you down." Blaine looked at Kurt who was now pulling faces at himself in Blaine's microwave door. "Kurt?" Kurt jumped round and looked at Blaine. He was wearing his pleading look. "You didn't listen to any of that did you?"
"Yes I did."
"What did I say?"
"You said that thing about the sweat and about the being hot when you sweat."
"You think I just spent half an hour just talking about sweat?"
"Look I'm sorry, I know your are doing me a huge favour here, but this is so boring, and I get distracted like super easily."
"Okay we have like one page of text to get through, when we are done with that, we can take a break, sound good?"
"Yeah okay." And just like that, as soon as Blaine started talking Kurt once again was finding something to distract him, that was until he got an idea. He sat up, looked at his pen and quickly chucked it under the table. "Blaine I...uh...just dropped my pen."
"Then pick it up. We still have like three quarters of the text to go." So Kurt ducked down under the table as Blaine started highlighting notes, that was until Blaine's eyes shot wide as he felt a hand on his crotch.
"Relax babe, you'll love it." Kurt said in a voice Blaine has only heard a couple of times before, whenever Kurt was getting sexual.
He could feel his button and zipper come undone
"Kurt! This is far from a good...IDEA." The last word came out a lot more high pitched as he felt Kurt's freezing hand reach Into his boxers to grasp his suddenly very hard cock. "Ah cold hands! Cold hands!"
"Don't worry they'll warm up."
Blaine felt Kurt pull him out of pants.
"Holy shit Kurt! What the hell are you doing?" asked, Blaine had his hand in his underwear and started pumping his shaft under the table."Oh my God! Kurt. We can't do this- my Grandparents!"
"Will you stop mentioning your Grandparents every time I try and get you off?"
"Holy crap! Oh my God that's just-."
"Amazing right?" Kurt replied as he just gently twisted his wrist to let a new wave of pleasure shoot through every inch of Blaine's body.
"No. Kurt. You have. To stop!" Blaine said between breaths and moans
"No you're close baby, I know you are!
"Oh my God! F...fuck Kurt" was panting a lot more. He knew he was enjoying this a lot more than he should have been. He was about to stop Kurt, that was until Kurt took him full in his mouth.
"HOLY MOTHER OF GOD!" Blaine didn't know what to do, he felt so completely venerable but he could bring him self to do anything besides pant and moan. Kurt took him out of his mouth almost completely before taking him back in again, Blaine could feel his orgasm at the pit of his stomach he couldn't stop from clenching every muscle in his body. It came a lot faster than he thought it would.
"Kurt I'm coming! Like now!" And he was right, a second later Kurt could feel the warm cum hitting the back of his throat, he made sure he got all of it so there wasn't a mess. He put Blaine back in his underwear and did his pants back up.
Blaine was still reeling from his orgasm and he was still in shock over what he just allowed Kurt to do. But he couldn't think of it for too long because he then heard the front door open.
"Blaine we're home!" He heard his grandmother call from the front door.
"Shit!" He hissed at Kurt "Get the fuck up!"
Kurt rushed to get out from under the table, smacking his head in the process.
"Ow shit." Blaine's grandmother came into the kitchen as Kurt was returning to his seat "Yeah dude I can't reach my pen, I think its by your foot."
"I'll get it sweetheart." His grandmother bent down to pick up the pen which was right by Blaine's foot. She picked it up and passed it to Kurt.
"Thank you Mrs Anderson."
Blaine just looked at Kurt and mouthed 'Dude?' Kurt just shrugged.
"Blaine, did you ask your friend if he'd like to stay for dinner?"
"Not yet Grandma, Kurt would you like to stay for dinner?" As his grandmother turned away, Blaine looked right at Kurt and started to shake his head furiously and mouthing the word 'no', hoping Kurt would take his advice.
"I would love to, thank you Mrs Anderson." Blaine just glared angrily at Kurt, while Kurt smiled mischievously at him, wiping the corner of his mouth with his thumb.
"'Kurt', such a wonderful name, you know we were going to call your Father 'Kurt', and please sweet heart call me Judy"
"Yeah it's okay I guess, I think it was my Dad's idea."
"Yeah, Kurt's father is a congressman."
"Who's father's congressman?" His Grandfather asked as he entered the kitchen. Kurt already hated Blaine's grandfather as he had already suspected it was him that gave Blaine the bruises, Blaine dismissed it but he knew there was something not right there.
"Blaine's friend, his name is Kurt" He sat down at the tale opposite the boys. "Now don't be rude Harold" his Grandmother said before exiting the kitchen.
"So this is the kid you're 'Tutoring'" He asked making sure he used air quotes.
"Actually sir we were just having a party, I'm surprised you missed it with all the alcohol and drugs floating around everywhere, its just crazy. Oh and also, I'm not a kid." Kurt said looking directly into Harold's eye's lifting up one eye brow, his lips pursed together.
"Kurt!"Kurt looked back at Blaine who looked terrified and was shaking his head, giving Blaine a 'please stop' look.
"I apologise sir. That was rude of me."
"Yes it was. Blaine?" Blaine's head snapped back towards his grandfather "We will be talking later about your choice of friends." Blaine was shaking he grabbed Kurt's hand under the table. Kurt could now feel how scared Blaine was.
Harold stood as his wife walked into the kitchen, as she passed his kissed her on the cheek and left the room.
"Grandma?"
"What is it honey?"
"Can me and Kurt go up to my room?"
"Of course sweetie, dinner will be in around 30 minutes."
The boys stood up, collected their books and walked out of the kitchen passing Blaine's grandfather, who was now in the living room watching TV. Kurt followed Blaine up the stairs and down the hall to Blaine's unbelievably clean room, they closed the door.
"Okay, what the hell was that?" Blaine asked as soon as the bedroom door was closed
"What? Are you seriously asking me that?"
"Yeah, why did you do that?"
"Well the more important question is why did you lie to me?!"
"What are you talking about?"
"Your grandfather! You told me he wasn't the one hurting you."
"That's because it's not him!"
"Are you seriously going to lie to my face? You were just shitting yourself because of that man calling himself your grandfather!"
"Stop-,"
"You grabbed my hand Blaine! I could feel you shaking you were terrified!" He looked at Blaine who now had tears forming in his eyes. He calmed his voice hoping he could get through to him. "I'm not stupid Blaine, we both know what's going on here and you have to stop pretending that it's not! You have had to keep this huge secret that has been literally killing you, but if I know at least now you can talk to someone about it, you don't to suffer in silence any more! And you can deny that its happening because we both know that's bullshit Blaine! But I can't help if you don't start facing up to what's going on!"
Blaine had a disgusted look on his face, tears were flowing from his eyes. he hated the position he was in right now.
"I have to face up to what's going on? I have to face up to being terrified to walk into my own home? I have to face up to the hitting, just not on my face because 'it will bruise and people could figure it out'. I have to face up the kicks in the ribs, I have to face up to feeling scared and defenceless all of the time? I have to face up to the fact that my parent's left me with a monster?!"
Blaine's legs gave way under him, luckily Kurt was there to catch him. And they just sat there Blaine on his knees leaning onto Kurt's chest just crying, crying tears he has bottled in for a very long time. There wasn't anything Kurt could do but hold him.
"Blaine? Blaine?" he felt himself being shaken awake and he slowly opened his eyes. He didn't know when he had fallen asleep or how he'd gotten on the bed but Kurt was there next to him with his arm around him, shaking him. "Blaine, your grandma just called up, dinner's ready."
"How long was I asleep?"
"About 20 minutes."
"Felt longer." He said with a huge yawn coming out of his mouth "How did I get up here? Last I remember I was on the flo- oh crap- I am so sorry about the crying, again. I understand if you want to leave, I know I cry a lot, you think I'm a wuss now don't you?"
"No, you have a lot of crap going on at the moment Blaine, so I don't blame you for crying."
"You don't?"
"Of course I don't! And about the bed thing, well you kind of cried your self to sleep" Blaine felt like he could curl up and die out of sheer embarrassment. "and I didn't want you getting a bad back or a stiff neck so I carried you to the bed, I hope you don't mind?"
"No, of course I don't, thank you."
"We really should go down stairs though, dinner."
"He's down there."
"I know, but so is your Grandmother and I will be too. I won't let him touch you. Does he only do it when you're alone together?"
"Yes."
Kurt sat up against head board. And Blaine sat next to him.
"Then try not the let that happen, if your grandma goes out, go with her."
"Monday's." Blaine said under his breath Kurt knew he had said something he just couldn't make out what.
"What?"
"Monday's. Grandma goes to her book club on Monday's right before I get home from school, so I'm the house alone with him for an hour or longer."
"Then you will come to my house ever Monday after school from now on."
"You'd do that for me?"
"Of course, we're friends."
"Friends?" Blaine was confuse the amount of different messages that Kurt was sending was to much for him. "We're just friends? After what happened under the table? Today at lunch you told Mercedes that we were 'sort of together', and now you are saying we are 'Friends'? I really don't understand you" Kurt stood up off his bed and started pacing. Kurt just stayed where he was sitting.
"Blaine, you are one of the most amazing people I have ever met, and the way you are so proud of who you are, but you have to understand that I don't do relationships, or anything like that!"
"I knew it! I knew you were that guy, but I let you draw me in, you keep sticking up for me, helping me with my Grandfather and Karofsky, but you really don't give a shit do you? You just wanted me for one thing!"
"No Blaine, you don't understand, I can't have boyfriends, I can't walk down the hall holding hands with the boy I like because I have done that, and it always ended-."
"Oh boo hoo" Blaine didn't want to here the rest of this story. "you got dumped, who cares? Everyone gets dumped at some point in their life!"
"Yeah you're right everyone gets dumped, but do you know what doesn't happen to everyone? Losing your virginity when you are thirteen to a guy who makes you feel like a prince, but when he's done fucking you, he's literally done! Done with the relationship and done with you!"
Blaine was shocked that Kurt had opened up like that, he barley knew anything about this boy when he knew each and every one of Blaine's dark secrets.
"Kurt, I'm sorry I didn't know."
"I know you didn't, I haven't told that to anyone really, but the thing is Blaine, if I did have boyfriends and did stuff like that, then it would be with you, I really like you, but I'm just not that guy, I'm not the guy that you need."
"How do you know that? How do you know what I need?"
"I don't but you are better off without me."
Blaine walked over to bed where Kurt was now sat with his legs over the edge of the bed, he took the smaller boy's hands and pulled him up so now they were standing facing each other.
"How do you know that? I like you too Kurt, please just give this a chance, I know that guy hurt you, and I don't know how many more there have been that have done that to you, but I wont do that."
"I know you won't but I'll do it to you, I know I will." Kurt was looking down at their feet, trying his best not to keep eye contact with Blaine.
"You don't give yourself enough credit, you're a great guy Kurt, just let yourself see that."
"I don't know how."
"Well then I'll have to help you. But this thing with me and you? Why don't we take it all really slow to start with? Starting with me asking you if you would like to go to Mercedes' party with me on Friday night?"
For the first time tonight Kurt looked into Blaine's eyes and smiled at him, not with a cheesy cocky grin but a cute genuine smile that Blaine could get used to seeing.
"I'd love to." Kurt answered as he close the gap between the pressing their lips together, but there was something different this time, this kiss wasn't driven my their teenage hormonal urges, but it was a loving kiss, Kurt had never felt this before, it was a new feeling. A feeling he didn't hate.
Neither of them heard the stairs creek or the bedroom door open.
"Boy's you dinner I getting-oh."
Blaine and Kurt quickly parted looking at the poor old woman who looked like she was going to have a heart attack any second due to shock.
"Grandma-." Blaine didn't know what to say. He moved his mouth but no words could come out. Silence filled the room. That was until Judy snapped out of the shocked state she was in.
"Dinner is getting cold boys." she turned to walk out the room, when she stopped. "Blaine?"
"Yes grandma?"
"I won't tell your grandfather, I know how he can be." No she didn't but he accepted this as a 'your off the hook'.
"Thank you Grandma." and she carried on walking out the door and down the stairs.
They just stood in shock and silence. They looked right at each other Blaine still not knowing what to say, until Kurt burst in laughter.
"What are you laughing at?" Blaine was just staring at Kurt like he was a crazy person, while taller boy was crying with uncontrollable laughter.
"I'm sorry- but that- that was the most awkward thing that could have happened." Kurt calmed down but kept the smile on his face. He looked up at Blaine who was now also smiling. "Look, don't worry, she didn't seem too freaked out, did she?"
"I know...shit...I just didn't want her finding out like that."
"But at least she knows now, just find a time when you're both alone and talk to her."
"Okay that's good. Good plan."
"Ready to go down?"
"Yeah."
They left the room and slowly descended down the stairs, as they walked into the kitchen, Blaine's Grandparents were sat at the table with half empty bowls of spaghetti. The boys sat down in front of their bowls and started eating.
"So Kurt is it?" Karter's grandfather broke the silence.
"Yes sir."
"Did you know Blaine has a girlfriend?"
Kurt and Judy both choked on their food at this question. Kurt managed to clear his throat to get out his response.
"Yes sir, I heard."
"You know her?"
"We're fairly close."
"How about we drop this subject? I don't really want to talk about this, and frankly I don't know what it has to do with you."
"You live under my roof young man, so what ever you do has something to do with me, and I have decided that your girlfriend with come over for dinner one night this week, no arguments!"
Blaine sent his grandmother a pleading look, she hadn't said she accepted what happened between him and Kurt but he needed as much help as he could get right now.
"Harold, why don't we wait until Blaine and this girl are more serious. Then he might feel a bit more comfortable introducing us to her." She sent a light smile to Blaine and Kurt who sent a grateful smile back.
"I suppose you're right." His grandfather didn't seem to happy about this but he couldn't find anything good enough to argue back.
The rest of dinner was spent in silence, nobody spoke. Nobody had to. There was nothing to say.
Before they knew it they had all finished. Judy stood and collected all the plates.
"Would you like any help clearing up Mrs Anderson?"
"No Kurt sweetheart its okay, and I already told you, call me Judy." She took the plates to the sink then left the kitchen to go to the bathroom.
"So Kurt?" Blaine's Grandfather piped up.
"Yes sir?"
"Do you have a girlfriend?"
"I thought we dropped this subject." Blaine answered, he knew what Kurt was going to say, just because he was scared about coming out to his grandfather it doesn't mean Kurt would be so cautious.
"No sir I'm...uh....actually I'm gay." Kurt said with a lot of confidence, this was one of the things Blaine liked about Kurt. He was always so confident, most of the time over confident, but Blaine still liked it.
"You're-?"
"Gay."
"Gay? As in-"
"Gay."
"How old are you? 17? How do you know you're 'gay'? That's ridiculous, you're still so young."
"Well I may be young but I know my own mind."
"I'm sure you do, but, I mean, how could you possibly know what you like? Have you ever had a girlfriend? Have you been with a woman?"
"Grandpa?!"
"What?" He asked not realising what he had said wrong.
"Actually sir, no I haven't."
"Then how do you know?"
Blaine went to stop Kurt from saying what he knew was about to come out of the smaller boys mouth but he was too late-
"Because I have been with a man, and it was hot."
Blaine's grandfather looked sick to his stomach.
"How can you say stuff like that?"
"Because you asked sir."
"That's true, but I know you are just saying these things to get a reaction out of me."
"No sir, I am saying these things because I am a born and raised, cock sucking, man fucking queer and I love every second of it." Kurt leant back in his chair with his hands behind his head, he also had his famous cocky grin attached to his face and his eyes were directly staring in to Harold's. Blaine's Grandfather was rising to stand.
"Get the hell out of my house."
Kurt also stood still looking at Harold.
"My pleasure." He started to pace towards the door.
"And stay the hell away from my Grandson."
"Grandpa!?!"
"No Blaine it's cool, to be honest I don't want to be anywhere near a homophobe."
"Okay I'll walk you out."
"No you will not." His grandfather interjected.
"Yes I will! Your going to stop me from seeing him anyway so what the harm in me showing him to the door?"
His grandfather didn't reply he let the boys walk past him and out of the kitchen. As they got to the living room Blaine's grandmother was coming down the stairs.
"Are you going Kurt?" She asked as she reached the last step.
"Yeah, I have outstayed my welcome quite a a lot, My Dad will be getting worried anyway, he always does if I'm not home by certain time."
"Okay well you take care sweetheart" She cupped his face and kissed him on the cheek. "Anyone that makes my grandson this happy is welcome here any time." They smiled at each other.
"Thank you Mrs Ander...Judy, but your husband has made it very clear that I'm not welcome back here."
She frowned
"What do you mean?"
"Kurt told him he was gay, he doesn't know about me yet but I couldn't ask Kurt to go back into the closet for me."
There it was out in the open, he hadn't officially told his grandmother he was gay, but now she knew and he knew she excepted it he could breath easy for a little while.
"Okay sweetheart, well I'll talk to him see if it makes any difference."
"Thanks Grandma." She walked back into the kitchen to do the dishes and maybe talk to her husband and left the boys to have a moment by them selves.
They walked to the door, Kurt opened it and stood in the doorway facing Blaine.
"Are you sure you don't want me to drive you home?"
"Blaine! I will be fine, goodnight and I will see you tomorrow! I'll wait for you by your locker, Okay?"
"Okay" Blaine said reluctantly, he really didn't want Kurt walking home alone in the dark. "I'll see you tomorrow."
The looked at each other and smiled as Kurt leaned in to kiss Blaine goodbye. And then he slowly walked off. Blaine kept the door open to watch him until he was out of sight, but he saw Kurt turn around coyly very now and then until he reached the corner of the street.
