"We have to take them somewhere where they wont find them." Elizabeth said.

"Our best bet is to separate them. Theyll be too easy to find if theyre together." James added.

"But, how will they find each other?" Elizabeth questioned.

"With these necklaces." Sylvia spoke up, pulling two necklaces out of her purse. The necklaces were two halves of the same stone.

"Theyre magic. When the boys are apart, the stone will be ice cold. But when they find each other, the stone will be warm." She explained.
Sylvia and Elizabeth put the necklaces on the babies. The stone halves radiated warmth.

"Elizabeth and I will take Kurt to Lima, and you guys take Blaine to Westerville." Burt instructed.

Elizabeth held Kurt tightly as she went to the car. Kurt started to cry as the stone turned ice cold on his sensitive skin.

"Its okay." Elizabeth soothed.

She held him close as she rubbed his back.
