I just wanted to say that I appreciate each and every person who too the time to read this story. It means a lot to me. Now, onto the next chapter.
(third person)
That night, Blaine couldnt sleep. He gently slid his arm out from under Kurt so that he wouldnt wake him up. He got out of bed, got dressed, got his shoes on, and quietly went outside to take a walk to clear his head.
He knew he wasnt supposed to go anywhere without Kurt, but he could defend himself. He was more worried about Kurt staying protected. He walked down the sidewalk passing by shops and restaurants full of people. He didnt know what to expect though.
"Theyre here in New York City." Samuel insisted
"I dont know. Weve looked all over, no sign of either Kurt or Blaine." Sebastian countered, furrowing his brow.
Suddenly, Blaine walked by.
"Wait, is that him?" Sebastian asked.
"It has to be him." Samuel replied.
"I got this." Sebastian said, making his way to Blaine.
"Hey." He exclaimed as he approached Blaine.
"Do I know you?" Blaine asked.
"No, but theres something I want to sing for a showcase at my school." Sebastian lied. "I want to try it out every chance I get."
"Okay." Blaine said. He was so naïve.
Throughout the song, Blaine became entranced by Sebastians voice. He was oblivious to everything going on around him. He was oblivious to the fact that Samuel was behind him with a brick in his hand. Samuel beat Blaine over the head with the brick and he fell unconscious into Sebastians arms. Samuel dropped the brick to the ground.
"Now we just need Kurt. How are we gonna get him?" Samuel asked.
Sebastian wrapped his hand around Blaines charm necklace. He hadnt wandered off far enough for the charm to turn cold. Sebastian unclasped the necklace and put it around Samuels neck. The charm got warm once again.
"Go far away, until the charm turns cold." Sebastian instructed. "Kurt will notice that his charm is cold and will come after Blaine."
Samuel ran off. He was at the outskirts of the city before the charm finally got cold.
(Back to first person)
I woke up in the middle of the night. The bed was cold. I reached out, trying to feel Blaines warmth.
"Blaine?" I mumbled.
I opened my eyes he wasnt there. I sat up in bed as my hand flew to my charm. It was cold.
"Blaine!" I screamed as I quickly got dressed. I got my shoes on.
"Kurt, whats wrong?" Rachel asked as I ran into the living room.
"Blaines gone and my charm is cold." I explained frantically. "I need to go find him."
She grabbed my arm.
"You cant, its not safe."
"I have to. He could be dead."
Tears started to brim my eyes as I pulled my arm loose from her grip and ran out the door. After a while, my legs were aching and my lungs felt like they were on fire, but I didnt stop running. I was determined to find Blaine.
