Never Letting You Go: Chapter 5

The end of the week came. Blaine and I walked to the senior commons together. A few minutes after we arrived, the showcase started.
The next day at Warbler practice, Wes announced who the lead soloist was.
"The lead soloist will be... Blaine Anderson."
"That is an amazing honor." Blaine said. "But, I have one request. For sectionals, which is in a month, I want to sing a duet with Kurt."
I stared at him in amazement.
"Well consider it." Wes said with a smile.
After Warbler practice, Blaine and I went to the Lima Bean. We sat down with our coffees.
"Congratulations on getting the solo." I said.
"Thanks. I hope Wes lets us do the duet."
"What song would we sing?" I asked.
"I dont know. Do you want to come to my house and we can talk about it?"
"Sure."
We went to his house and went to his room.
We sat on his bed.
"We could sing Candles by Hey Monday." Blaine suggested.
"No. Why would we sing a break up song? We just got together." I said.
"True."
We thought for a minute.
We talked for a while until it started to get late.
"Hey, its getting late and Im too tired to drive to Lima. Can I sleep here?" I asked.
"Of course."
He went to his dresser and got his pajamas. He threw a T-shirt to me. I changed out of my clothes and put on the T-shirt. I slid into Blaines bed and waited for Blaine to come.He came in and crawled under the covers with me. He turned off the light.
"Goodnight." He said before kissing me.
His hand found mine under the covers. He intertwined his fingers in mine. I fell asleep.I woke up the next morning in Blaines arms.
"Good morning, sweetheart." Blaine said.
"Morning." I murmured sleepily. "What time is it?"
"It is 8 oclock." He replied.
"How do you have so much energy this early in the morning?" I asked.
"I guess Im just a morning person." He said.
I giggled as I pulled my body closer to his. We stayed like that for a few minutes. It felt perfect.
"Do you want breakfast?" He asked.
"Sure." I said, hesitantly getting up.
"Do you like blueberry pancakes." He asked.
"Mmhm."
He got up and went to the kitchen while I went to the bathroom. I splashed my face with cold water until I felt fully awake. I dried off my face and went to the kitchen.The pancakes were almost done.
"Mm. Those look good." I said.
Blaine flipped them onto a plate and handed me the plate. I went to the table as he went to the fridge.
"Milk or orange juice?" He asked.
"Orange juice." I said before taking a bite of my pancakes.
He poured a glass of orange juice and set it on the table in front of me.
"These pancakes are really good." I exclaimed.
"Thanks." He said.
"So, where are your parents?"
"Business trip."
It was silent for a minute, then Blaine spoke up.
"After you eat, I wanna run through a song with you."
"What song?" I asked.
"I Dont Wanna Miss a Thing by Aerosmith. It came to me last night."
I finished my pancakes and we headed back to his room.
