Kurt’s roommates weren’t too bad. He had Finn, Puck and Blaine, A guy called Sam Evans and another guy called Thad Harwood. They seemed to get along and had a few things in common. Plus he was sure Sam was gay. He just had a hunch.

Classes weren’t too bad. He had only just started and he was piled with homework. Him and Blaine would usually go to library and do it together since they had lots of classes together.

Right now Kurt was sat outside with Taylor and Rachel talking about what they are planning to do for the year.
“I hope they have a glee club. I cannot, REPEAT cannot! Live with out applause,” said Rachel very seriously. Kurt just chuckled while Taylor got a slight bitch look on her face making Kurt laugh more.

“Rachel, chill. They have a glee club. Sebastian told me,” She said rolling her eyes.

“I still cannot believe your brother is Sebastian!” said Kurt.
“Same here!” added Rachel. Taylor sighed.

“Look, while I'm here I want to pretend that shitty horse face doesn’t exist,” Taylor said very firmly. Kurt and Rachel just nodded in agreement. “So Kurt, have you and Blaine fucked each other yet?” Taylor asked with a smirk. Kurt’s eyes widened while Rachel started to burst out in laughter.

“No!” Kurt yelled blushing a bit.

“Oh come on Kurt. We all know you fancy him!” Rachel giggled. Kurt nudged her in the arm.

“So what if I did. Its not like I have a chance with him. He is way out of my league,” Kurt sighed.

“Kurt stop being such an attention whore! You’re perfect!” Taylor said hugging him. Kurt hugged her back.

“Aww thanks guys. Now lets get going if we want to make it to dinner,” Kurt said getting of the bench. Taylor and Rachel followed and they entered the hall. They sat down at the Baseleg Table and started to eat. They were then joined but a very cheerful Blaine.

“Oh my god have you heard!” Blaine beamed. The three of them looked at each other before looking back to Blaine.
“Heard what?” Rachel asked with an eyebrow now taking a sip of water.

“There’s glee club auditions tomorrow!” Blaine shrieked. Rachel spat out her water, her eyes wide. Taylor got an "I would so kill you if it wasn't against the law" look on her face while wiping away the water. Kurt giggled.

“Holy shit! Kurt, Taylor, Blaine come with me right now! We need to pick a song!” She screamed launching herself off the table. Kurt was beaming and followed while Taylor looked at them as if they were crazy. She then just shrugged and followed. Rachel then text Mercedes and Tina to meet her in the Library.  Rachel was walking way too fast for Kurt or Blaine to cope with. In the end they gave in.

“Rachel calm down we only have two feet,” Blaine said. Rachel spun round giving him her best bitch look.

“Blaine! We have until tomorrow to get you guys a song. I’m not going to calm down till we have the perfect one”.

And with that she spun on the heel and started heading to the library.

Mercedes and Tina were already there when they arrived since the Liswerry common room was close to the Library.
“To the music section!” Rachel announced as soon as she spotted them. When they got there Rachel would not shut up. Kurt was looking through a folder that had sheet music to give him ideas until Rachel plonked a sheet in front of him.

“What’s this?” he asked. Rachel beamed.

“it’s the song I think you should do,” she said.

Kurt looked at the sheet.

“I’m the greatest star? Rachel you’re a genius!” He said
hugging her who hugged back.

“You're welcome. Now let's help the others pick theirs,” she said grabbing Kurt’s hand and dragging him across the library.

That night Kurt was laying on his bed texting Mercedes on his phone. Thad was reading a book. Puck and Finn were talking and eating some sweets Kurt had never seen before. About ten minutes passed until Thad spoke up.

“Hey Kurt, are you auditioning for the glee club tomorrow?” he asked.

“Yeah. I can’t wait! I'm excitied, yet im nervous at the same time,”  Kurt smiled.

 Thad’s smile grew bigger as he looked at Kurt. I’m sure you will be fine. I mean everyone here is auditioning except me. In a member of the counsel so im already on it” Thad said rather proudly.

This made Kurt feel a lot better, being friends with a member of the judges was a help. Just then Blaine came barging in with sheet music in his hand.

“I have changed my song,” Blaine said sitting down on his bed.

“To what?” Kurt asked.

“Teenage dream,” Blaine beamed. Kurt shook his head. Blaine was such a Katy Perry fan. “Well I'm tired. Goodnight guys," Blaine said, getting into bed. He flicked his wand and the curtains flew around his bed. Kurt decided to do the same. He got into bed flicked his wand and the curtains flew around his bed.

The next day Kurt was buzzing. He couldn’t wait for his audition even if he was a little nervous. It would only be three people right? Kurt wanted the day to go by as quick as possible. Which of course made it go slower.

Kurt also couldn’t help but notice Sebastian During positions class. He kept looking at Kurt as though he was undressing him in his head. He also kept winking at him whenever they made eye contact. It made Kurt feel very uncomfortable.

Other than that the rest of the day was fine. It was now dinner time and after this they had there auditions. Kurt was now a bit more nervous.

“Kurt are you okay?” Taylor asked from across the table.
“Yeah. I’m just a little nervous that’s all,” Kurt said picking at his food.

“You will do great,” she said smiling. Kurt nodded now feeling a little better. Rachel then joined them and again would not shut up.

“We are going to have so much fun I hope I get lots of solos I live on solos and applause it's like my heroine basically, I crave it and I love…”

“Rachel I love you, but shut it!” Taylor said quite loudly. Rachel did stop and apologised before telling everyone to hurry up with their food. They then met Blaine Mercedes and Tina and headed to the choir room. As they were the passed the notice board.

“Hey Kurt look at this,” Mercedes said looking at the board. Kurt walked over to see what she was looking at. He then saw here pointing to a notice for Rougemount cheerleading team.

“Cheerleading?” Kurt asked looking at Mercedes. Mercedes smiled at him and nodded.

“It will be fun, and you said you used to do it. Audition with me please!” she said giving Kurt puppy eyes. Kurt loved Mercedes but he couldn’t imagine her cheerleading. She was a bit on the big side. However she was right it would be fun.

“Fine” Kurt sighed smiling. Mercedes squealed and hugged him.

“Thank you! now lets get to that audition” she smiled.

They carried on walking till they got to the choir room. They went in and sat down. Why was everyone in the same room? They didn’t have to audition in front of everyone did they? Kurt was nervous now. He hadn’t sung in front of anyone before.

“Okay guys. So we are going to call you up to the front and hear your audition okay?” Wes said. “Good can we have Mercedes Jones please?” they said as she stepped up to the front.

Her performance of ‘I will always love you’ was breath taking. Rachel’s ‘Don’t rain on my parade’ was perfect.  Same with Tina’s 'True colours'. Taylor sang some song from blink-182 or was it Green Day? She has different taste in music then Kurt did, so he was unsure. Finn sang ‘I can’t fight this feeling’ very well. There were a couple of bad people as well but no one was as bad as Sugar Motta. The bitch was terrible. Sebastian sang ’I want you back’ super smoothly and Puck sang ’sweet Caroline’. Everyone did so well and now Kurt was getting very nervous. Next up was Blaine. He had his charming smile on which meant he was very confident.

The moment Blaine opened his mouth Kurt was flying. His voice was amazing. It was like heaven made its way into Blaine throat and released itself. For the entire performance Kurt just started with his mouth open. Blaine gave a small bow and went and sat back down giving an encouraging smile to Kurt who was up next. He watched Kurt go up to the centre dragging out a table and to swords.

The music started and so did Kurt. His voice was like an angel which Blaine couldn’t get enough of. He started spinning and lying on the tables. Kicking his legs and making cheesy poses to the song. Towards the end he started spinning his swords which was the point Blaine was lost from his world. He was now in Kurt’s world.

Kurt finished earning a loud applause from the audience and sat back down looking pretty tired.

They were then told to go back to there dorms and they would have the results tomorrow.

Rachel went around telling everyone they did well, meaning she was distracted for the time being so Kurt walked back with Finn and Blaine.

“You were amazing,” Blaine said to Kurt as they walked up the stairs.

“Speak for yourself” Kurt said smiling.

“I loved your sword spinning. How did you learn to do that?” Blaine asked.

“I just bought them off eBay and practiced I guess,” Kurt explained. Blaine nodded and smiled looking right into Kurt’s blue eyes. They were very beautiful.

‘Now Blaine don’t get ahead of yourself’

“Um hello what about me?” Finn said. Both Kurt and Blaine laughed.

“You did amazing Finn” Kurt said laughing as the walked into their dorm.
