So, I know this was short but I dont think the first meeting had to be any longer.. As you can see, Blaine is a little rambly in this fic and is one of those guys who is nervous quite alot. Kurt will discover more in the next chapters. But I didnt want to spill everything already.
I really hope you guys like this and kind of like the idea.
Please leave comments etc.
Greetings,
xoxo K
He woke up. His eyes were still tiny and only a bright light came through his vision. His stomach was brused and his left arm was covered with a plaster. He felt his face with his right hand and rubbed slightly over a few scars. After a few minutes he could finally open his eyes completely. He wasnt sure where he was, what or who he was and how the hell he got there.
A curly guy was standing at the end of his bed, he was wearing a long white robe and was holding a clipboard against his chest : "There is our pretty boy," he said with a smiling face. "Do you know where you are sweety?"
The boy didnt really know how to respond. What was happening?
"Oh Im sorry, please tell me if you dont like me calling you sweety" the stranger smiled. "Do you know where you are?" He asked again.
"U-uhm.. Not immediately.. Could you just.. Uhm..I-I dont really..." A deep sigh came out of his mouth as he stumbled upon his words.
"Let me help you a little here. My name is Blaine Anderson and Ill be your nurse. Wel actually, I have been for several weeks now and..." the male nurse couldnt finish his sentence. The boy in the bed looked confused as he spoke: "Wait.. several weeks? What happened?".
"You really dont remember, do you? Dont worry, itll probably come back in a few days or maybe weeks. Its all a little much right now but Im sure youll be fine. Do you remember your name?"
"Uhm, yeah, sorry.. Uhm, Im Kurt Hummel."
"Okay, perfect. Ill give you a little heads up on whats going to happen in the next hour.." Blaine got interrupted again.
"Im sorry," Kurt said. "Could you start of with what the hell Im doing here?"
"Oh sure, sorry, Im such a flood of words... Okay, so... You came in 3 weeks ago. You were awake but they had to put you in a artificial coma because of the pain you were suffering. You were attacked by a few teens on the streets. Good thing the police passed by after, we think, ten minutes. Anyway, we dont know what exactly happened, or why they beated you up like this. They didnt took any money or belongings away from you..." he paused for a little while, looking at Kurts confused face. Kurt could only think about one thing gaybashing. Blaines eyes were a little watery.
Kurt bit his underlip: "Are you okay?"
Kurt had never been worried about a stranger before. But he felt something glowing in his chest. It was probably just the thought of someone caring about him when no one ever did.
Blaine sniffed a little. "Im sorry, Im being so unprofessional right now," he sighed. "Its just that I cant get out the image of you in my head, being carried in here all bloody and... Oh my, Im so sorry... Look at me being al selfish, while you are the one in the hospital bed," Blaine walked towards the tall pole with the infuse hanging almost empty. "Ill be right back, I need to get some more of these, if anything happens, just push the button and Ill be here in a second," He pulled out a beeper that had the room number on it and smiled. "Im kind of your personal assistent, you see. Mister Hummel from room 206 needed some special care during the last few weeks and since you were almost the only one in my section, they wanted me to watch you carefully and.. Oh god, Im rambeling again. Just push the red button at the side of your bed if you need me, okay? See you soon."
Kurt giggled a little while he saw his nurse walk out the door. He never saw someone so nervous and empathic at the same time. Kurt just loved how he acted and although he didnt knew the whole story of what happened yet, he knew he was in a good place. Kurt looked at the red button.
*BZZZ*
Blaine ran in the door "Whats wrong? Are you okay? Can I help you with something?" he sounded a little scared.
Kurt held his breath before speaking. "Im so sorry, I just wanted to check if this personal assistent thing was true. I didnt mean to concern you. Im sorry mr Anderson,"
"Good thing you have a pretty face Kurt! The doctor will be here soon to test a few things, nothing unusual. Oh and please, call me Blaine." He smiled and left again.
Yep, Kurt was certain he was in a good place. His eyes became blurry and he dozed off to a wonderful dream.
