Kurt had prepared everything as Coop arrived back looking around for his Niece, then Kurt pointed to the bedroom.  Coop wandered over to the doorway and poked his head around and caught his breath looking in to see his younger brother cuddling his daughter fast asleep but both were glowing again.  Coop not wanting to disturb both and not panic Kurt, told Kurt to come to the bedroom to see Blaine and Elizabeth.  Kurt finished plating up the fresh bagels and walked over to the bedroom, and then stopped dead as he witnessed the phenomenon occurring in front of him and Coop. 

Before their eyes Elizabeth started to grow to a 12 year old girl, as Blaine cuddled his sleeping daughter, still asleep himself.  Kurt didn’t know what to do did he wake them up or just Blaine. Then there was a knock at the door to the apartment again and Coop left to open it to let the guests in. 

Clarice smiled at Coop but frowned at his response, as he placed his index finger to his own lips expressing quiet as he led her and Angus the chamberlain to the bedroom.  All three were surprised as they now saw the glowing pair had stopped glowing but now Blaine had his arms wrapped around a beautiful young woman.  The three looked over to Kurt but he had sat dumbfounded upon a chair and looked as surprised as they were at what he witnessed.

Elizabeth then awoke and stared at her Daddie who was sluggishly awakening himself too looking at Kurt then came fully awake as he realised he was cuddling a young woman in their bed. “What the …. Ooohhh!” Blaine said evidently just as confused at the sudden growth spurt of Elizabeth.

Elizabeth sighed and smiled kissing her Daddie on his cheek before getting out of bed with a beautiful dress covering her and standing looking over at Kurt blowing him a kiss too.

Then she looked around at everyone and said “We need to wait for one more person, then I can explain in full what has happened here today and Blaine still needs to rest. I’m sorry Daddie but I had to take a bit more from you to help me grow to this size” Blaine was just confused, as Kurt sat on the edge of the bed on his side with his arms wrapped around Blaine.  Blaine did indeed look exhausted now and he felt really weak, and then asked “Could I have something to eat and drink Kurt” Kurt kissed his head and headed out to the kitchenette and then brought Blaine in a tray full of Food and a large coffee cup.  Kurt placed the tray onto Blaine’s lap and then walked over to Elizabeth and said “I think we had best leave Blaine alone while he eats his breakfast” ushering her and the other three from the bedroom glancing back to see Blaine lift the tray from him to place on the bedside table promptly falling fast asleep.

Elizabeth squeezed Kurt’s arm gently and smiled at her Father, “He will be okay later, I promise you that you two are more important to me than anything Dad” kissing his cheek as he smiled back at her.  Kurt said “Elizabeth whatever you are was made from Love and Blaine and I will protect you to our dying days” Elizabeth beamed such a Blaine smile at Kurt that his breath caught yet again and he had to swallow quickly to stop a sob from escaping him.  This young woman was truly their daughter and he felt a genuine need to protect and love her for all time.

They reached the others in their little lounge and all sat waiting for the last person to arrive, which to everyone’s surprise was Mercedes.  Mercedes stood outside the door of Kurt and Blaine’s apartment not really knowing why she was told to come up to their apartment but she was escorted by Bas who chatted amiably to her as he showed her the way to the apartment.  He left her at the door as he was instructed to, but couldn’t remember who had told him to do it so he assumed it was another new teaching assistant and went back to the cafeteria.

Mercedes was welcomed by Kurt who beamed a huge smile at her and said “Cedes girl come here I want you to meet someone” Mercedes was escorted into the lounge where she recognised all except Coop and Elizabeth, but thought they looked related.  Then she remembered Blaine had an older brother named Cooper but couldn’t recognise the woman, but she saw something in the smiling woman and she hesitantly smiled back. 

Kurt went to his daughter and said “May I ….” Looking at Elizabeth who nodded her agreement and Kurt continued “Cedes I would like to introduce you to Blaine and my Daughter Elizabeth” Kurt was looking at Mercedes intently and she blinked thinking ‘What! Wait…. Umm,’ saying “Ugh, Kurt are you trying to play a trick on me?”

Elizabeth came across and wrapped Mercedes in a warm embrace, saying to her “No Dad isn’t and Daddies asleep in the other room.  He had quite a morning today giving birth to me and then my sudden growth spurt has left him weak at the moment but he will be joining us soon” smiling over to the bedroom, as she heard Blaine getting up from his brief respite.

Mercedes was thunderstruck at this announcement and looked at the other adults in the room and Clarice came over taking Mercedes away to sit next to her and Angus, as they all waited for Elizabeth to explain.  Blaine wandered out then in sweats and t-shirt still slightly groggy but more alert than before sitting next to Kurt and waited along with the others.

Just then Elizabeth felt a prescience saying “Ah! I wondered when they would return” Next instance Blaine’s parents had arrived and they looked around at everyone then at the young woman who smiled back at them saying “Grandparents please take a seat then I can begin”

Maria was shocked but Richard turned to her and whispered “I thought you said she was a little toddler?” Maria nodded her head and then Elizabeth said “Well where to begin…. I came into existence from the love and powers of my Fathers’ and from the true being who blessed their union with me”

This brought the attention of the council members and Angus asked “True being? What do you mean Elizabeth and what exactly are you ….. I feel your power and you are stronger than all of us put together here in this room.”  This statement brought shocked gasps from everyone except Kurt and Blaine who had both been telepathically talking about what their daughter could actually be.  “Well I for one am really glad she chose Blaine and Me as parents, as regards to the what Blaine and I feel that you Elizabeth are actually a ‘Goddess’” Smirking in satisfaction as Elizabeth smiled over to her two fathers lovingly and replied “Correct Dad and yes Angus I am much more powerful than you realise.”

Everyone was silent as Elizabeth continued with her story and what part she had to play in the upcoming battle with the ‘Void’ next year.  Angus wanted to ask some philosophical questions about the being known as ‘Truth’ but was curtailed when Mercedes interrupted and asked “Well, I can understand everyone else being here, but why am I here.  I mean I know I’m supposed to be taking lessons on the ‘crazy’ right now but Bas and I were told to come here by a T.A. then Bas was to return to the cafeteria, so why me Elizabeth?”

Elizabeth looked over to Mercedes and simply said “You my ‘Cedes are MY angel and no-one else’s anything that bothers you then come to me and I’ll sort the problem big or small.”  Mercedes was quiet not really understanding any of this wishing she could go back to being plain old ‘Diva’ Mercedes Jones.  Instead, she was a prophesised Angel with a sweet voice so much was happening right now that she was so confused.

Kurt looked at Mercedes and got up and crossed over to her and knelt down saying “’Cedes do you want to get a coffee away from here” he asked her.  Mercedes hugged Kurt and said “I’m so glad we’re friends … umm, yes boo I would like that … I need to clear my head over all of this”.  Kurt laughed and replied “You and me both sister” then got up took her hand and vanished.

Elizabeth smiled knowing exactly where Kurt and Mercedes had gone and looked over to her Daddie and realised he did too. Blaine smiled at his daughter and then turned to the others and said “Well I for one need a shower and fresh clothes.  I think Kurt made something in the Kitchenette if you want to help yourselves while I’m busy, but don’t hassle Elizabeth! Dad, Mom I’d like you to formally meet your Granddaughter Elizabeth, Goddess of the Truth” With that he got up kissed his daughter on her cheek and disappeared into the bedroom to change and shower.

Everyone stared at Elizabeth then Clarice cleared her throat and asked if anyone wanted the food Kurt had kindly left prepared for them.  Maria went to Elizabeth and brought her over to her Grandfather and introduced them, Richard had gotten up and kissed his new granddaughter on the cheek and embraced her loving her so much, as her could definitely see Blaine and his Maria in her resemblance.

Blaine was keeping tabs on everything as he showered quickly checking in with Kurt, who had taken Mercedes to the Lima Bean coffee house and they were talking things out.  He then felt for Elizabeth and was surprised well not really, just pleased that she had acknowledged his prescience and told him everything was fine and hurry up showering.

 Coop was waiting for him in the bedroom as her came out to get changed and said “Hey Coop what’s up?” Coop looked at his younger sibling and got up and just hugged him tightly, saying ”I never got to say congratulations, but this morning I thought you were dying and there was nothing I could do to prevent it” he released Blaine with tear tracks down his face and looked at his Blaine with adoration, “Only you could have pulled this out of the bag Blainee.  I’m so proud of you and of Kurt, we are so going to win this battle and war with Elizabeth beside you two nothing can harm you.”

With that he brushed at his face and left a bewildered Blaine to get dressed as he went to join in the celebration of his Niece’s arrival.  Blaine just sat down on the edge of the bed thinking hard about what had happened in the last 48 hours then got up and dressed quickly checking his hair was right and under control then went to join his family, with Clarice and Angus.

Meanwhile, Kurt was making progress with Mercedes about what to expect and what she would be doing later on that day.  They had just about finished their coffees, when they were approached by two men in grey suits.  Kurt looked them up and down thinking of the cheap polyester was no way to dress to impress when one of the men said “Would you kindly come with us Sir, Miss, the Senator wishes to meet you”. 

Kurt looked over to Mercedes, then back to the man that spoke replying “I’m sorry, which Senator are we talking about here?” They didn’t receive any further information and Kurt continued saying “I guess you’ll have to tell the Senator so sorry but we must get back to School and class now before we are late.” Mercedes got the message and got up to leave with Kurt but the other man took her by the arm roughly, “Oh hell to the no you just did not rough me up Man!” Mercedes nearly shouted, causing the patrons to stop talking and look over to what was occurring.

The manager came over and said “Is there a problem kids?” as he recognised Kurt and Mercedes but not the other two men, “Or do I need to ring for the police”.  The one that spoke said “No there is no need to bring the police into this sir, we were asked to escort these two to a meeting with the local Senator.  But it seems we shall have to arrange a more formal meeting with them and the Senator in the near future.” He then looked over to the other man and jutted his chin in the direction of the door and they left without another word.

“Are you two okay? Do I need to inform the police or something?” the manager asked the shaken teens, but Kurt shook his head and said “I’m sure it was a misunderstanding and the Senator will request a visit to Dalton Academy to meet us there instead”. The manager looked relieved and then went back to his business, everyone went back to what they were doing to and Kurt and Mercedes sat down again looking out through the window noticing the two men getting into a black sedan and driving away.

Mercedes let out the breath she was holding and Kurt exhaled too, “Wow that was tense Boo!” Mercedes said to Kurt who nodded his head and replied “I think we need the safety of Dalton again come on back way” Kurt led Mercedes out through the back asking the manager if that was okay first and under the circumstances he had to agree to make sure the teens weren’t being followed.  Then once outside away from prying eyes they vanished back to Dalton going straight to Mr Ripley’s office asking Mrs Jenkins if the Dean could see them now please.  Mrs Jenkins smiled and said that they Dean was free for them to go right in and added her congratulations to Kurt on being a new Father to a ‘goddess’.  Kurt thought does everyone know already, but pushed that from his thoughts as the Dean smiled at Kurt and Mercedes, but as they told him of what had occurred at the coffee house his smiled disappeared and was replaced with a thoughtful frown as he asked some questions.

He thanked them for telling him about what happened then he shook Kurt’s hand about Elizabeth and then Mercedes’s as he was informed that she was Elizabeth’s personal Angel.  Mr Ripley then escorted them to his door and he said he would be checking up with the local Senator’s to make sure that one of them had really wanted to meet Kurt.

Kurt led Mercedes back to the apartment finding everyone still there and he was embraced by Blaine as he caught something from their demeanour and Blaine asked “What Kurt? Why are you shaking?” and Kurt just realised that he was indeed shaking not from normal fear of what had happened, but an idea had formed in him that he and Mercedes had been visited by agents from the ‘Void’ and they had a lucky escape.

Elizabeth came over looking concerned reading from Mercedes mind of what had happened and cursed.  Kurt corrected her on her language and Blaine laughed as he was getting tense from picking up on Kurt’s reaction and now Elizabeth outburst knowing something else had happened.

Blaine led Kurt to his chair and told him to sit while Mercedes was seated in another by Elizabeth, both were asked if they wanted anything but because they had finished their coffee earlier they didn’t want anything more.  Blaine asked them both to explain to them what had occurred to them while they were at the Lima Bean.  Kurt explained and Mercedes added her take on events with Kurt finishing the tale when Mr Ripley arrived at the doorway which was open to allow people access to the apartment.

Mr Ripley looked at everyone’s concerned faces and announced that he had spoken to the Senator’s and they all denied wanting to meet with two teens that morning.  Everyone then realised that it was definitely a ploy to get Kurt, with Mercedes being a bonus for them.

Elizabeth spoke then and said “Well it would seem they really have an avid interest in you Dad.  I need to think on a subtle way to keep you three safer, pointing to encompass her dads and Mercedes.

Blaine’s cell beeped at him and he looked at it noticing it was a text from Nick, ‘Blaine I need your help over something could you come to my house this afternoon? N J’  Blaine thought before answering then asked Kurt about his text from Nick “Kurt look at this do you think it is genuine or another trick to lure one of us from safety?” Kurt studied the text then his face went blank Blaine studied his boyfriend, as he knew he was mentally asking Nick if he had texted Blaine.  Kurt turned and looked at Blaine saying “It was another trick Nick said he never sent any texts today not even to Jeff.  He’s now worried that they might come to his house for him so I think I should go to get him and bring him back, okay” Blaine nodded then said “But you’re not going alone, Coop go with Kurt to get Nick please.  If you say no then I’m going” he told Kurt in a serious tone that brooked no argument from Kurt.

Kurt looked over to Coop smiling mischievously saying “Tag you’re it” then vanishing, Coop guffawed but vanished as well catching Kurt up. While the others now waited for Kurt, Coop and Nick to return for further discussions continued.
