Tina Chang please join me Mike smiled to her. As many of you here know last June Tina and I were married. In fact many of you were there. We learned 5 weeks ago Tina is pregnant. Tina pulled her T shirt tight and showed a very small baby bump. Tina is almost 12 weeks pregnant. I am sorry we kept it secret but we wanted to get passed the highest miscarriage period first said Mike. AWWWWWS filled the room. Thanks guys the baby and I are both doing very well smiled Tina. This past week I thought I was caught a couple of times due to getting sick smelling food. Thank you Carole, Shannon and Emma for not saying anything when you figured me out said Tina. Emma could you join me please said Will. Emma stood and walked over to him. Well many of you know about mine and Emma’s struggles with sex and then with getting pregnant and some of you knew about the miscarriage we had last year. Well we are happy to announce that Emma is also pregnant. she is 12 weeks as well. Holy Hell yelled Puck. In fact I learned this passed week from Emma she and Tina are due just a day apart. Congratulations to the Chang’s on their little bundle smiled Will. Congratulations to you guys as well smiled Tina.

Rachel sat there disgruntled and frustrated here Tina and Mike were pregnant and married. Kurt was engaged to Blaine. Santana and Brittany were married and very happy. Mercedes and Sam were getting married in March, Artie and Rory had girlfriends even. Quinn had a boyfriend even that loved her for her. Puck and Shelby were together and enjoying raising Beth. Rachel who had Finn was upset though. She wasn’t properly engaged and he had made it clear he wasn’t ready for that step even though many of their friends were getting married. It simply wasn’t fair Rachel thought. She decided it was time to take matters into her own hands. It was now or never she thought. Rachel got up and strode to where the mic now stood on a stand disregarded.

Uh oh Blaine said as he saw her get up and walk towards it. Kurt looked in the direction Blaine was pointing and saw what caused the uh oh to be said. Rachel now stood with the mic in hand and was looking at Finn. Do something Blaine said to Kurt we can not let her do something so stupid. We don’t know what she is about to do baby said Kurt. Yay we do smirked Blaine. You know she doesn’t like being out done and she has been today. I proposed to you and now two baby announcements. She is feeling left out and will do something she will regret said Blaine.

Rachel called Kurt. Can I have a moment of your time right now please. Can it wait shot Rachel. No said Kurt as his voice dropped several octaves. Fine said Rachel. Kurt escorted Rachel out of the Banquet hall and into the lobby area. Rachel Kurt asked slowly what are you planning on doing in there. I was going to ask Finn to marry me barked Rachel. We are the only couple without a real commitment to one another she droned on. Is this how you want your proposal to be asked Kurt. No but I want the ring and stuff you got and I want it now said Rachel. Its not fair. Life isn’t fair sometimes said Kurt. Look what Blaine has gone through this week and is still going through. I do not know said Kurt but we have friends to be happy for and no I am not talking about me. We have another wedding to prepare for and a pair of babies coming this spring or summer. That’s true. Blaine called Dave. Yeah called Blaine back. Where is Kurt and Rachel asked Dave. Kurt I hope is preventing a disaster with Rachel said Blaine. Oh okay said Dave. Nick and Jeff got up and moved towards the mic. Uh oh Blaine thought. Hi family friends and people we don’t really know Nick started. We wanted to welcome everyone too and thank them for all they do in our lives. You all make us better people. We wanted to thank you with a special song said Jeff. This is dedicated to our special Warbler buddy Blaine. Warblers could you come up and Dave too please. We need Kurt too said Nick. Finn could you find him for me please said Jeff. Finn got up and shuffled out of the room. Blaine we love you so much and we wanted to sing this on the video but Rachel forbid it. Artie said we could sing to you here though. Finn returned with Rachel on his arm but no Kurt. He is in the bathroom indisposed and said he would join you in two minutes when he gets done said Finn. A few minutes pass as the guys all get positioned on the make shift stage. Kurt finally jogs in and takes his spot beside Wes. Nick steps forward and speaks again. We almost lost a very special friend this past week and as a group decided to put on a show to either honor his life or memory if he had not made it through as he has to show him how much he means to all of us. Kurt and Blaine finished up their song and took their seats back at the table. Kurt had no idea what was next and didn’t really care much either. Blaine however was reaching emotional overload. He was not a crier and didn’t like feeling all weepy and girly. This was different though. It was nice Blaine thought to feel all of this love and support. Will stood with Rachel before the group. Yeah I needed to pee too but I had to get that vile lip gloss off of me. Who wears cola flavored lip gloss anyway said Blaine. Rachel apparently laughed Kurt. Help me up said Blaine now I need to pee. Up you go smiled Kurt. Blaine walked over to the urinal and began handling his business. Any idea what she chose asked Blaine. Angels Among us by Alabama said Kurt. Plus a really emotional song called Christmas in Heaven in case you passed away on us added Kurt. I’m alive though and doing okay said Blaine. I do need some pain medicine though. My head hurts and so does my chest groaned Blaine. I need to lay down soon but I can’t said Blaine with a pained expression. Your mom has your medicines lets go see her for them said Kurt. Okay smiled Blaine. Lets get the nightmare of a Rachel song over with too.

The party

Rachel still stood in the exact spot she was in when Blaine and Kurt had left the room. Blaine walked over to his mom instead of his seat. I need my pain medicine please. I hurt so bad right now said Blaine. Alright said Hannah as she reached down into her bag and handed the bottle to him. Thanks smiled Blaine as he popped the bottle open and took a pill from it and popped it in his mouth and took a drink from his mom’s drink. Kurt then took Blaine back to his seat and sat him down by his dad.

Rachel spoke again and said as I was saying this song made me think of Blaine. I asked Mr Shue to sing with me. I chose Carrie Underwoods Version of I’ll stand by you. No matter what Blaine I will be right there with you and for you. I love you too just as Kurt does just not in the same manner. Carole and Finn both cringed at the song title. He had been caught singing that song to a sonogram of Beth when Quinn was pregnant. That memory flashed through Kurt’s mind as he looked over at them. She has no idea Kurt thought to himself. The ipod sprang to life and startled Kurt.

Kurt sat there blushing for Blaine and said softly yes you did he was in pain and took his meds. I am soo sorry you guys. Its okay smiled David we can sing to him later. When we all come back over to exchange gifts. Yeah okay sounds good grinned Kurt. Blaine moaned lightly into Kurts neck and shifted against Kurt uncomfortably. Kurt shifted Blaine over onto his dads shoulder and got up and moved over to his Dad.

Dad Kurt whispered I need to take Blaine home but have no car here. He is asleep over there and groaning in his sleep. He isnt comfortable at all. Let me see what I can do Kurt said Burt. Carole doesnt have her car here either. She rode over with Emma. Here said Sue forcing the keys to her Le car into Kurt’s hand. I will catch a ride back with someone take him home for his nap he looks uncomfortable. Thank you Coach said Kurt.

Not a problem come on Sebby Lets take Blaine out and put him in the car. Once Blaine was loaded up Kurt pulled the car out onto the road and headed towards the house. Blaine was blissfully asleep and Kurt was hoping he would stay asleep until they were back at the house.
