Chapter 11
Kurt sat up in his bed with a small smirk as he watched Blaine stroll around his bedroom in the loft. It was about midnight at this point and they’d only gotten inside forty five minutes ago. Blaine had decided that after he and his boyfriend (yup, Kurt belonged to him exclusively) had rolled around in bed sharing the cutest kisses and slowly undressing one another, that it was about time he got a ‘tour’.
Of course Kurt explained to him that there wasn’t much of their loft to tour. Blaine didn’t really listen. He walked around the space in his t-shirt and boxers as Kurt watched him with a smile; a little too overwhelmed from the events of the evening to get out of bed and follow him.
- Kurt killed on his opening night at the NYADA production of Company.
- Blaine popped up out of nowhere practically and serenaded him in front of everyone (including Burt Hummel) in a cozy Italian restaurant before asking him to be his boyfriend.
‘Overwhelming’ may not have been strong enough a word honestly.
Rachel had decided to stay with her dads Leroy and Hiram in their hotel along with the Hudmels. She figured that the new couple would want some time alone and she didn’t want to be there when they got… well, loud. Puck had shared a story or two from his time in Florida and she didn’t need that in her life. What she did need was her rest for class the next day.
On the train ride home, Blaine made sure that Kurt was aware that he wouldn’t be going to class the next day. Kurt rolled his eyes at him as they sat close and held hands in the subway. Of course, he knew he had no intention of losing out on time with Blaine by going to school of all places, but Blaine didn’t need to know that he knew that.
Since the University of Florida junior had to leave Tuesday morning, Kurt wanted to have as much time with his boyfriend as he could. He was grateful that Blaine would be back in the city again soon with his fraternity brothers but this time was important. They had a lot of making up to do, and a lot of getting to know one another to do, and they had just gotten together- like for real. The next few hours were so important.
Kurt quickly realized that he was going to have to get used to counting down how much time he and Blaine would have before they needed to part again. He knew that a big part of being in this relationship was going to include being a grown up and dealing with the separation, and part of that was having to say ‘goodbye’ a lot more often than your average couple may’ve had to, but acknowledging that didn’t make it any easier.
Don’t think about that now, Kurt, the man told himself.
Blaine hummed to himself as he looked at the décor. He could tell which areas of the loft Kurt had decorated easily and smiled at some of the photos adorning the mantle that looked like they were from Kurt and Rachel’s high school years. The teen was a bit shorter and chubbier in the face, but the biggest difference was the forced smile Kurt wore in a majority of the photos. Blaine had never seen that smile and he made a silent pact with himself to make sure his boyfriend never felt the need to put up a front like he did all those years ago. Not when they were together.
As Blaine made his way around the living room, Kurt finally got out of bed. The shorter man watched as he walked past him in only boxer briefs and a pair of slippers, and Blaine licked his lips. They laughed when Kurt caught him staring with his typical lusty gaze and Blaine ran his fingers through his hair, biting his lip.
He couldn’t remember the last time he was this happy or optimistic. Though some of his friends who knew about his plans to make Kurt his official boyfriend said that it would either end up with a ruined friendship or broken hearts, Blaine knew better than that. He trusted himself and Kurt more than that.
“Can I get you something to drink?” Kurt asked with a smile as he grabbed a sparkling water out of the refrigerator. “I think we have a good bottle of Rosé here that Rachel was saving for something or another but I could always have it replaced.”
Blaine bit his lip as he slowly made his way around the sofa. “I’ll take a glass. Thank you.”
Kurt smiled at him before grabbing a couple glasses from the cabinet along with the Pinot Noir. Shortly after, he poured them each a safe amount and Blaine kissed his cheek as he tried to close the bottle.
“I’d like to propose a toast,” Kurt said softly as Blaine started to kiss his neck. “But that feels really good and you’re distracting me… B,” Kurt laughed and tried to push him away. “Grab your glass.”
Blaine smirked as his hand roamed over Kurt’s back, eventually taking a squeeze of his butt in the Tommy John boxer briefs he wore.
“I said grab your glass not grab my ass!”
Blaine laughed as he pulled away. “Oops.”
Kurt rolled his eyes as he tinted pink. “C’mon. Be serious. I really mean what I’m about to say and I want you to hear it.”
Blaine nodded and picked up his glass, smiling as he looked into his boyfriend’s eyes.
“To us,” Kurt said simply. He tried not to blush harder as Blaine smiled and stared directly into his eyes. That smile would be the death of him. “To your success in Florida and to my success here. To our future together. I know we have one hell of a road ahead of us but I can surely say there’s no one else I’d rather travel it with than you. You, Blaine Anderson, are always going to be my choice.”
Blaine felt his heart beat faster as Kurt’s glass touched his. He slowly came to and took a sip as the words played in his head. There was something about getting to hear Kurt say all of what he said that made him feel incredible. “To us,” Blaine said with a smile.
Kurt laughed a little and looked away as he walked to the bedroom. Blaine took a deep breath and followed behind him, glass in hand. “Did I say too much? I’m not taking it back.”
“No, not at all,” Blaine looked at the curtain that he assumed was used to divide Kurt’s room from Rachel’s. “I just love hearing that… that you’re so confident, you know? When it comes to you and me… I know people have probably told you things, and people have tried to whisper in my ear as well,” Kurt took his seat on the bed and listened as Blaine continued, “But regardless of what they say, we get to write our story. I trust us as the authors more than I trust them. They know nothing about you and me or about how badly we want this, babe.”
Kurt smiled down at his wine glass and nodded. “Can I tell you something?”
Blaine nodded when the man looked up at him again. “Anything.”
“Sometimes,” Kurt shrugged a bit. “I don’t know if I deserve you.”
Blaine smiled before walking away, taking another drink and observing the room. “You must be drunk. I guess this stuff works fast.”
Kurt rolled his eyes. “I’m serious. …What do you see when you look in the mirror, Blaine? I’m curious to know.”
Blaine glanced into the mirror and smiled when he could see Kurt watching behind him in the reflection. “If you want an honest answer…”
Kurt smiled and put his empty glass down on the night table. “I’d like that, actually…”
“A hobbit.”
“Blaine.”
“But a sexy one,” Blaine joked. He laughed when Kurt glared at him through their reflections. “Ok, ok.” Blaine licked his lips. “I see Blaine Devon Anderson—a spoiled soon to be 22 year old kid from Westerville Ohio. I see a kid with big dreams who only a handful of people take seriously because he’s on scholarships while his bank account has more money than there four year tuition cost and they think he’s never had to work for anything,” Blaine pulled off his t-shirt and put it aside as Kurt listened. “I see the jock with the big head that spent the past couple years doing whatever guy he wanted and moving on with no regards to their personal feelings.”
Kurt lay down and stared at Blaine. “I’m happy we’re together because I get to help change your perception.”
Blaine turned to look at him.
“I don’t really care how other people see you, Blaine. You’re loaded, fine. You slept around after getting to college. Fine… I’m sure 90% of the college student body of all of America has,” Kurt propped a pillow beneath his head. “What you’ve been given and who you were shouldn’t shape the way you define yourself. None of that matters to me.”
Blaine nodded as he took a seat on the dresser. “What matters to you then?”
“You matter to me,” Kurt said with a smile. He laughed when Blaine playfully rolled his eyes. “But besides that, the way you treat those you care about and the fact that you’re deciding to change your ways because—“
“Because I’m crazy about my boyfriend.”
“Because you didn’t like who you were before,” Kurt told him. “You had fun but you weren’t happy, were you?”
Blaine shook his head. “Now I am.”
“Same with me,” Kurt said. “And yes it’s because I’m crazy about my boyfriend, but it’s also because I love who I am when I’m with him. That doesn’t necessarily mean when I’m physically right next to you, either.”
Blaine looked up at him through his lashes with a soft expression. “What does it mean?”
Kurt adored the look on Blaine’s face. After all they’d been through, being able to just be genuine and talk one on one like this – sarcasm away – it was a pleasant change. “It means that since you and I got back in contact a few days ago, I’ve been… I can’t even describe it. But I’m elated and it’s because you’re in my life again.”
Blaine stayed still as he listened and Kurt shrugged, sitting up again. “Is that a little crazy? Maybe. I’m the one who thought we were best off not doing what we’re doing now. But I had no idea that you were going to make me feel the way I feel for you.” Kurt got up and walked over to where his boyfriend sat on the dresser. “Please keep in mind that I had no clue you were going to rom-com style hop on a plane and show up here for me tonight, and I was still happy. Just getting to talk to you and let you know that you’re on my mind and that you feel the same… Blaine this is all that matters. You’re all that matters to me.”
Blaine leant his forehead against Kurt’s and smiled. “You’re never going to regret letting me in. Ever, Kurt. I promise.”
Kurt put his hands on the man’s thighs. “I know that.”
Blaine kissed his cheek. “And fifty years from now, right before I go senile,” Kurt laughed and Blaine moved so that he could see his eyes, “I’m going to look back on this moment and thank you for giving me the chance and for trusting me. And I’m going to tell you how much you changed my life.”
Kurt smiled and grabbed each of Blaine’s hands. “Come to bed, handsome. It was a long day and on top of that it’s been forever since I got to go to sleep next to you.”
Blaine nodded, staring at Kurt’s lips. “You’re right. And this is historic, you know.”
Kurt smiled as he pulled Blaine down and into him. He wrapped his arms around the man’s strong shoulders and spoke as Blaine’s hands found his waist. “Our first night together exclusively. I’d say it’s pretty historic.”
Blaine lifted him a bit and carried him to the bed, tumbling down on top of him. They smiled into the next set of kisses and before Blaine could deepen it as he intended to, Kurt rolled over so that he was on top of him. “Have you told anyone yet?”
His boyfriend nodded. “I texted Finn, Tommy, and Cooper. I didn’t bother waiting for their responses because it would just distract me from my time with you, so I turned my phone off.” Kurt kissed him again, but just like that Blaine was right back on top of him. “I’m glad your family was here though… even though your dad threatened my life on four different occasions tonight.”
Kurt giggled and pushed Blaine off of him when the man started to tickle his sides. “I’m sure you’re exaggerating and if you’re not, he didn’t mean it. He really respects you. Just don’t make him change his mind.”
Blaine got comfortable on the pillow and stared at the man’s pink cheeks and beautiful profile. “I won’t.”
They were quiet for only a minute before Kurt had turned on his side; a hand placed on Blaine’s chest as he looked at him softly. Blaine smiled with his eyes still closed as he hummed the tune of the song he sang earlier. “You can kiss me if you want to.”
Kurt scoffed. “Why would I want to do something like that?”
Blaine opened his eyes and smirked when they found Kurt’s. “You know,” he licked his lips slowly, “I think what I’m going to miss the most when I leave is how your lips feel against mine. Being able to kiss you whenever I want is my favorite thing.”
“And you think just because you lick your lips like that and make a confession like that… that I’m going to give in and kiss you, huh?”
Blaine bit his bottom lip into a smile and Kurt really wanted to hit him. “I know your willpower is much too strong. You wouldn’t give in that easily.”
Kurt rolled back over to his side of the bed, making Blaine chuckle. “You’re right about that.”
“Uh huh,” Blaine sat up and smiled down at the man, trying not to focus on the fact that Kurt was only wearing his boxer briefs. As weird as it sounded, he didn’t want to have sex tonight. He didn’t want Kurt to think he flew across the country just to have sex since they were on good terms again. No – he wanted to make Kurt his and then they’d spend the night holding each other and talking – catching up on everything. Maybe he could serenade him again but something for Kurt’s ears only.
“So is the game plan to stare at me until I let you get a kiss or…?”
Blaine laughed again and looked around the bedroom. He smiled as he saw his bag. “I brought you something from back home.”
Kurt peeked up and smiled too. “Oh? Diamonds?”
“Funny,” Blaine climbed out of the bed and walked towards the bag. “I know it’s getting warmer now and all but,” he dug out the hoodie with his fraternity’s letters on it. “It’s one of my Phi Beta Kappa sweaters. I know you mentioned the t-shirt you stole from me not smelling like me anymore so,” Kurt bounced on the bed happily and Blaine had to stop himself from laughing. “You’re fucking adorable. But I brought this one for you to wear either around here when you’re lounging or if you want to go out in it that’d be cool too.”
“I love it. I could kiss you right now.”
“Oh now you want to kiss me?” Blaine teased, allowing Kurt to take the hoodie and hold it close.
“I always want to kiss you, silly. What else do you have for me?”
Blaine smirked. “How did you know I had something else?”
“I know you pretty well, Blaine Anderson. And what’s crazy is,” Kurt crawled to the end of the bed where Blaine stood beside it, already putting the hoodie on. “It’s only the beginning. I’m only going to get to know you better and better.”
“Hm,” Blaine smiled as Kurt cupped his face and kissed him softly on the tip of his nose. “So we may as well get comfortable then. I’m going to be farting around you and everything—“
“You will not fart around me, B—stop,” Kurt laughed and wiped his face after the sloppy kiss Blaine put there. “You’re such a bum.”
“You love me,” Blaine turned to walk away, not even thinking about what he said. Kurt smiled to himself and took a seat on the edge of the mattress. “Now, this I want you to wear outside at least once. To school even…” Blaine turned around with an ‘Anderson’ Florida Gators football jersey number 21. Kurt blushed once he saw it and started to smile the adorable toothy grin that was stuck in Blaine’s mind so many nights. “Show some Gators pride for your favorite running back maybe…?”
“I’m pretty sure you know I’d never in a million years go out in a football jersey… or go in in a football jersey…”
Blaine smiled a little sadly. “I know.”
“But for you,” Kurt reached forward and pulled Blaine onto the bed, smiling at how dramatically the man fell over. “My talented boyfriend who happens to be the best running back in the entire world—“
“You’re just saying that—“
“I’d wear it two days in a row.”
Blaine stared at him until Kurt laughed and recanted.
“Ok… maybe not but I will definitely represent my beautiful beau of the Florida Gators here in your home away from home.”
“And let guys know that you’re mine, right?” Blaine asked as he pulled Kurt closer. “Because you’re mine.”
Kurt nodded as he rested his chin on his boyfriend’s chest. “I am. I want to get you something as amazing as what you gave me baby.” Blaine closed his eyes as Kurt’s fingers ran through his hair. “I mean not only did you come here on such short notice but you performed for me here and now I have—“
“Shush,” Blaine opened his eyes and they met Kurt’s. “Don’t say another word. Let me tell you how things with you and I will go… if I do something for you it’s because I care for you, and I don’t want either of us to keep a score. That’s not what this relationship will be about, ok?”
Kurt nodded as he played with the fabric of Blaine’s tank top. “Alright. But I don’t want you to think I’m keeping score… I just want you to have something special too. I mean both of these are amazing.”
Blaine smiled. “Can we get underneath the covers and kiss?”
“So you’re just going to ignore me?”
“Yes,” Blaine rolled them over again and his lips found his boyfriend’s neck. Kurt giggled, reaching up to turn off the lamp. “By the way, I already stuffed one of your NYADA sweatshirts and caps in my bag.”
….
Kurt practically attacked Blaine for letting him sleep to almost noon the next day when he finally woke up. He was upset that his boyfriend would let him waste time sleeping when he knew they didn’t have that much time together, and even though Blaine brought him breakfast in bed and it was totally sweet and domestic, Kurt still gave him a piece of his mind.
Blaine didn’t mind, though. He had gotten up a couple hours before Kurt but just being near him even though the younger man was fast asleep was enough for him. He got to work on something for school in the down time as well as make a quick run to the store so that he’d have the right ingredients for the blueberry pancakes and cheesy omelet he prepared for his boyfriend.
He also got to do some random rambling through the apartment that he hoped Kurt would appreciate. You know… maybe make him a little less upset with him throughout the days.
After they ate, Kurt still pretended to be upset with him – at least in Blaine’s eyes – and grumpily made his way to the shower. Blaine smirked as he followed behind him, sliding into the shower behind him and laughing when Kurt pretended to push him away. But once Blaine started to kiss his neck as the water sprayed over them, and once his hands slid down to the small of Kurt’s back and over his ass, Kurt wasn’t as upset as he was before. After a moment they were pressed up against the wall; parted lips and soft moans as they rutted against each other in the tight space.
Though they made plans to go out to see Burt, Carole, and the Berrys off, the entire keeping their hands off each other was proving to be harder than they thought. Eventually they moved from the shower after Kurt reminded them how pressed for time they were, but he couldn’t prevent being bent over the kitchen table halfway through getting dressed. And though he somehow convinced Blaine that they could always finish this when they were back in the loft, Kurt couldn’t hold himself back when they returned to the bedroom and Blaine pulled him down between his legs.
He didn’t have that much willpower apparently.
Blaine moaned as he clutched Kurt’s biceps. His eyes were either rolling back or closed completely; his lips were parted and sometimes he’d ask for it deeper or harder, or would just say Kurt’s name, or chant yes over and over every time he felt his boyfriend slam inside him and tell him how tight it was or how beautiful he looked taking his cock. They hadn’t made it to the bed entirely and Kurt was worried about falling off as he thrust in deeper than he had ever been, and when Blaine wrapped his legs around his waist and rolled them over so that he was on top, Kurt knew they wouldn’t be leaving the loft for a long, long time.
Kurt groaned as his phone rang somewhere behind him. He watched Blaine’s face as the man bounced on top of him and Kurt could hardly take it. He started to stroke his cock, thrusting up every so often just to hear Blaine’s breathing hitch and him beg for Kurt to do it again, and as Blaine’s hands dug into his damp, dark hair and he moaned, Kurt licked his lips and reached back for his cell phone.
“He-llo?” Kurt bit his lip as Blaine slowed down, grinding on top of him. He ran his hand up the man’s abs and chest, trying not to thrust up or let the person on his phone know what he was doing.
“Wanky, Hummel. You’re totally getting ass right now.”
Blaine bounced a little faster as he watched Kurt’s eyes rolling back and started to play with his cock.
“What d’youwant Tana?” Kurt breathed out into the phone; his toes curling. “Please—“
“Rachel told me that you have your boy toy staying over so she asked to spend the night at mine. I need to pick up a few things for her while she’s in class and I wanted to make sure you weren’t doing what you’re doing now…”
Kurt thrust up again, exhaling hard as Blaine clenched around him. “I—I am… come over in an hour because… we’re going out…Blaine—“ Kurt tried so hard not to thrust up and fuck his boyfriend like Blaine was begging him to. “Talk to you later…T-Tana—“
“Well I’m outside now so I’ll just…” the door to the loft slid open and in walked Santana. Blaine heard heels clicking against the floor right as he leant back and started riding Kurt harder, and he told his body to stop because of it but Kurt had just thrust up – whether it was because he couldn’t help himself or because of the shock of being walked in on, Blaine didn’t know – but he did know that it made him moan very loudly and that didn’t help the situation at all.
“Fuck!” Kurt dropped the phone and sat up; sending Blaine down on the mattress with his legs sprawled in the air. He was still inside of him and his eyes were wider than they ever been as he stared at Santana. “What the fuck, Santana?!”
Blaine closed his eyes tightly as he grabbed a pillow and held it over him as best he could.
“My, my, my,” Santana moved throughout the loft; arms folded over her chest as she smirked. “Puck didn’t do you justice, hobbit. Congrats Hummel—“
“Santana—“
“Don’t mind me,” she walked over to Rachel’s side of the loft and picked up her overnight bag. “Keep going. I’m just going to grab a few things for Berry and get out of your hair. Felix gave me a lift over here and the last thing we need is him coming up here to see what’s taking me so long, so…” she trailed off and started to throw a few things into the bag. Kurt sighed as he looked down at Blaine; one hand over his face and the other holding the pillow suggestively in front of his crotch. He made an apologetic look though his boyfriend wasn’t paying him any attention.
“Santana…?!”
“Porcelain?” the girl looked through Rachel’s drawers. “I wonder where she keeps her trimmer… that mustache is getting out of control.”
“Do me a favor and close the curtain please…” Kurt said, still a little horrified from being walked in on, and embarrassed, but apparently his cock missed the memo because he was still harder than ever. “Please…”
Santana rolled her eyes before walking over. “Calm down. It’s not like this is the first time I’ve walked in on you with a guy you know.”
“Well it’s the first time you walked in on one that I care about so please…”
Blaine sighed and dropped the hand from his face. “I can’t believe this is happening right now.”
Santana shrugged and closed the curtain. She walked back over to the other side and her heels sounded over the hardwood floor, and Blaine stared at the ceiling.
“I’m sorry,” Kurt whispered. He watched Blaine’s red face as he licked his lips. “Listen, if you want to stop…”
Blaine shook his head no. “I… we can finish when she leaves.”
Kurt nodded, staring down at him. “You’re really tight baby and it’s taking a lot not to thrust in right now…”
“Wanky…”
“Ok,” Blaine shook his head and made Kurt pull out. Kurt groaned, watching Blaine roll away and then climb to the top of the bed and get beneath the covers. “This is my fault… we should’ve left earlier like you said.”
Kurt nodded and got under the covers as well. “It’s alright though. Santana is always like this.”
“I’m still here, lady pants.”
Blaine ignored her and pulled Kurt on top of him, spreading his legs widely as the younger settled between them. He leant up to kiss him and deepened it automatically, squeezing Kurt’s ass roughly.
By the time Santana said goodbye, though she was greatly ignored, Kurt was back to thrusting in and out of Blaine who decided to give less than a fuck and moan his boyfriend’s name proudly as he took it.
The whole building could walk into the loft at this point. Kurt just knew that if he stopped one more time, Blaine would probably lose his mind. So he fucked him, ignoring Santana’s encouragement from the other side of the loft until she eventually finished what she was doing and left, and fucked him even harder when the door was closed and Blaine was biting down on his shoulder, moaning the dirtiest things he’d ever heard. They fucked so hard that they didn’t realize this time around when phones rang. They didn’t notice any distractions.
….
“I just find it funny how you’re never around when your dad threatens my life, that’s all.” Blaine walked into the comedy section of the Best Buy they were in, hand in hand with his boyfriend. “I mean when you were there he was so kind. Like he was when Finn introduced me to him in freshman year. But when you were saying goodbye to Carole at the airport and he was next to me…”
Kurt laughed and shook his head. “Ignore him. I told you he likes you. He’s just being a troll because you’re fun to tease.”
Blaine smirked. “Am I?”
“Oh of course,” Kurt swung their linked hands between them. “I am absolutely going to love teasing you, especially when you let me tie you up again.”
Blaine scoffed. “I guarantee you that will never happen again.”
“Oh, but it will,” Kurt moved close as Blaine looked down at DVDs. “Because you love it when I tease you, but you don’t want to admit it,” he kissed Blaine’s ear and the man bit his lip.
“Kurt,” Blaine smiled and pulled away. “Please don’t turn me on in public. Let’s just get a few movies and get back to your place.”
Kurt smiled and sighed dramatically afterwards, walking down the aisle. “Fine. I’m going to make you watch Moulin Rouge and Nicholas Spark films.”
Blaine followed behind him as his phone buzzed, reaching for it. “I’m going to lose my man card aren’t I?”
“So I’m not a man because I like these movies?” Kurt turned around with an eyebrow raised and Blaine smiled, not believing he had to dig himself out of this one.
“That’s not what I meant. You look really hot in my fraternity letters by the way…”
“Don’t change the subject, Blaine Anderson.”
Blaine laughed and looked down at his phone, but the smile quickly faded from his face when he read the message. Kurt watched him for a moment before grabbing a couple rom-coms for them to binge watch, and Blaine quietly typed out a reply to the message as Kurt gave him space.
[From Dad]:
Cooper has told me that you are happily in a relationship. I called James to say congratulations and offer to have you two over for a week or so during your summer break, but he told me that you cursed him out in a five star restaurant and he hasn’t spoken to you since. He also mentioned that it was because of some art major in New York City. I’m sure he was joking about that part. I don’t know why you won’t answer your phone but I’m expecting a call back as soon as you get this message.
“We should totally watch Little Giants. Sure it’s a kid movie but it has football and I really loved watching it with mom and dad growing up. I had the hugest crush on Junior Floyd… I guess I was going through a blonde phase.” Kurt smiled and turned back to look at him but Blaine was steadily typing. “Or we can watch something else…”
[To Dad]:
James wasn’t joking about anything. I can’t call right now. I’m spending time with my boyfriend at the moment. Call you later.
Blaine shook his head no. “It’s cool… my bad, baby. Yeah I loved that movie growing up too,” he kissed Kurt’s cheek and looked at the titles. “But I’m ok with Moulin Rouge and stuff too.”
Kurt nodded. “What’s wrong?”
Blaine looked at him. “What do you mean?”
Kurt picked up a couple films. “It just seems that you got a message or something that upset you, I guess.”
Blaine stared at Kurt’s lips before looking down at his phone. “It’s my dad. Cooper blabbed about my fabulous boyfriend apparently and he thought that it was James but, obviously it isn’t. So he’s texting me all confused…I just told him I’m with you though so I’ll call him later.”
Kurt looked at him. “Why didn’t you tell him about me?”
[From Dad]:
You’re funny, Blaine. We’re going to discuss this later.
Blaine rolled his eyes at the message and put his phone away. “We just got together. I only wanted people who were on our team to know for right now so that I can enjoy this honeymoon phase. I’m not into having to defend us as soon as I get you. I wanted to deal with all the bullshit later… you know, back when I was in Florida or something. Right now this is about you and me and—“
“And you aren’t ashamed of me, right?”
Blaine’s face dropped again. A man walked past them in the aisle and Kurt turned away, pretending to look through the movies. Blaine knew he wasn’t really paying attention to what he was doing but looking for a reason not to look at Blaine right now. “You know that I’m not ashamed of you, Kurt. How could you even suggest—“
“Well let’s state facts,” Kurt started to walk as he held DVDs in hand and Blaine pocketed his hands as he followed. “I’m not him. I’m not what they expect. I’m a theater major with a fashion background and I’m nowhere near as financially blessed as your families… I’m not a future architect—“
“So basically you’re saying that I can’t be proud of you because you aren’t someone like James?”
“I’m saying because I’m not someone like James it’s probably hard to tell your parents you’re dating me.” Kurt stopped when they got to the long checkout line and looked at Blaine. “Maybe I don’t have money and maybe my passions aren’t as respected as the next guy’s… maybe I’m more of a flaming gay than they’d appreciate but I don’t want to be hidden.”
Blaine looked down at his sneakers. “I was not hiding you. I will never hide you. You’re my boyfriend and one day you’ll be more and I’d never hide you.”
Kurt looked at him for a moment before moving forward in line. “I’m sorry.”
Blaine didn’t say anything. They continued to move forward in line and eventually, the cashier called them over. Blaine watched Kurt laugh with the young lady who was apparently one of his classmates, and he smiled as she congratulated him on his opening night while he paid. The receipt was placed in the bag and the two made their way out of the store, Kurt quietly thinking to himself and Blaine not checking his messages because that was no doubt his father saying something that would tick him off.
They got back to the loft at about 3 and after having been pretty much quiet the entire taxi ride back, Blaine felt bad that the day had turned to this. Kurt walked over to the movie player and went through their films as Blaine took a seat on the sofa.
“What’re you feeling? We could start off with some Gerard Butler.”
Blaine put his arm along the top of the couch as he watched Kurt. “Anything is fine. I just want to hold you, handsome.”
Kurt turned around to see Blaine watching him and smiled softly. He wasn’t sure if they were going to be awkward for the rest of the day after the little disagreement they had because of Blaine’s parents but if they could get past that then it would definitely make him feel a lot better. Blaine gestured for him to come over and Kurt quickly popped in a film before going over to the couch. He was pulled into his boyfriend’s lap and smiled, placing their foreheads together.
“I really am sorry, B. I mean that.”
“Stop mentioning it. We’re past it.”
Kurt nodded.
“This summer, I’m going to take you to meet them. Maybe we’ll stay for a long weekend.”
Kurt brushed a few curls away from Blaine’s face and smiled. “As in your mom and dad? I don’t know…”
“And Cooper and his wife Sonia, too. They have a little girl on the way. I’m going to take you home to Westerville and they’re going to see how happy I am, and when they say ‘Wow! How are you two going to make it work when you’re both across the country?’ I’m going to tell them the same thing I tell everyone else who asks that question.”
Kurt brushed his thumb softly across his boyfriend’s bottom lip. “Which is…?”
Blaine kissed his hand. “Which is when you care for someone as much as I care for you; you learn to make your problems an ally. In one year, after our graduations, we’ll be able to have each other completely. Time is actually on our side. It keeps moving which means that it wants us to be together, right? And distance makes the heart grow fonder,” Blaine smiled at his boyfriend’s laughter. “Everything is working in our favor. They ask dumb questions they get dumb answers.”
“Maybe it isn’t a dumb question, though.”
Blaine shrugged. “You’re right. Maybe it isn’t. But I’m looking forward to proving that if you want someone bad enough, you can survive a little distance.”
Kurt nodded. “Yeah. We’ll make efforts to see each other as often as we can and it won’t be so bad.”
Blaine smiled. “Like this summer.”
Kurt looked at him. “Of course.”
“I’m renting a place up here. Perhaps in the city.”
Kurt lifted an eyebrow and smiled. “Since when?”
“Since I have a boyfriend whom I would love to move in with me for the summer break... Rachel won’t mind, will she?”
Kurt hummed as he lay back on the couch, and Blaine moved to his side. “I don’t know. She might… it’s been just the two of us since we moved here from Ohio and—“
Blaine kissed him and Kurt breathed into it. His eyes fluttered closed and his body tingled in all the best ways it did when Blaine’s lips were on his. This talking about the future and making plans together proved how serious this was for Blaine, and Kurt loved knowing that they weren’t just a couple guys who would get together and screw and maybe grab a bite to eat after. They were boyfriends. They wanted to be together through it all. It was beautiful.
“She’ll get over it, baby.” Blaine put his head on Kurt’s chest and looked at the movie playing. “I really love that I can call you ‘baby’ without getting yelled at.”
Kurt laughed and looked up at the ceiling. “I love everything about this.”
….
“How was that stupid mythology course you’re taking?”
Blaine made a face and stuck his tongue out at the camera, making Kurt laugh. It was time for their Skype session and during the times that they were apart it was hands down the highlight of Blaine’s day. Kurt’s too.
“Mythology is really cool and I resent you saying that, Kurt Hummel.”
Kurt scoffed as he finished up his nightly facial routine. “The only cool thing about mythology is Disney’s Hercules.”
Blaine laughed as he scanned through his textbooks. He was getting ready for finals before he and the guys would be going back to New York for Tommy’s birthday that weekend. “I guess I’m going to have to tell you all about the Greeks and the Romans until you understand just how amazing all the gods and goddesses actually are, my handsome boyfriend.”
“Or not,” Kurt smiled and looked at the camera. “I believe you.”
Blaine smirked. “You’re still getting a lesson.”
“So are you ready to see me on closing night? I’m going to dedicate my performance to you, you know.”
“Oh are you?” Blaine straightened his laptop on the table and smiled at his boyfriend on screen. “You promise?”
“Cross my heart,” Kurt told him. “Then I know this great club we can take Tommy to. I already told his girlfriend all about it and she’s on board.”
Blaine started humming the tune to one of the Hercules songs from Disney as he looked back up at the screen. “It’s a gay club isn’t it?”
Kurt laughed and nodded. “I don’t like the label but there are gay bartenders and dancers. But straight guys go there…”
“Ha,” Blaine started to take notes for an assignment as he chuckled, “Tommy is going to kill you….”
“He’ll love it,” Kurt said with a grin. “Am I distracting you from your homework, baby?”
“Never,” Blaine wrote out another definition. “You actually help me focus, believe it or not, because if you disconnect…” Blaine looked up at the screen and saw Kurt smiling as he waited for the rest of this, “all I’m going to do is think about you’re gorgeous face and then I’m going to call you and want to hear your voice and then I’ll make you get back on Skype so I can see that smile and by that point I’ll have wasted so much time.”
“You’re too cute.”
“Thank you.” Blaine smiled and looked back down at his books. “So who flirted with you today?”
Kurt rolled his eyes. “Why do you assume I’m flirted with every day? I literally went to class, the library, rehearsal, and then came home. Rachel and Brody are having an argument if you hear anger in the background by the way…”
Blaine nodded. “I heard it… everything ok?”
Kurt shrugged. “It may have something to do with Finn coming this weekend. But back to the topic,” Kurt carried the laptop to his bed and stretched out on it… “Nobody flirted with me. I talk about you too much for them to think flirting is a good idea.”
Blaine smirked. “Good boy.”
“And you?”
Blaine bit his lip into a smile. “There was this one girl…”
Kurt smirked. “You’re gayer than a two dollar bill. Try again.”
Blaine burst out laughing and Kurt could hear one of his frat brothers yell for him to shut up because the game was on. He smirked when Blaine stuck his finger up at someone and shook his head.
“This is why you should be video chatting me from your room…”
“But,” Blaine smiled, “I have to focus on this assignment and when I’m in the room… you know what happens.”
Kurt started to slide his hands into his pants and Blaine’s eyes went wide. “This?”
Blaine nodded and licked his lips. “Y-Yeah. That. Now stop… you know I need to focus.”
Kurt laughed and pulled his hands back. “You’re no fun. So are you doing mythology?”
Blaine smiled. “Psychology actually. What are you about do?”
Kurt watched as Blaine fixed his earphones and pouted. “Well since I can’t touch myself while you do your homework, I guess I can practice some more on my guitar.”
Blaine smiled and looked back up at the screen. “I still can’t believe you pay someone for lessons when you could just wait for me to get there and teach you for free. Well maybe for kisses.”
Kurt grabbed the guitar and looked back at his laptop, putting it on focus. “Probably because I’m not a prostitute, thank you.”
“Shut up,” Blaine laughed and sat back in the seat at the table. Wes sat across from him with a gigantic bowl of ramen noodles.
Kurt laughed too. “Plus Sam could really use the money. He’s saving up for an engagement ring.
Blaine nodded. “I understand that. Why don’t you play me something? I want to know what this guy’s been teaching you.”
Kurt bit his lip and held the guitar over him. “If you laugh at me for any reason, I can guarantee you will not be getting any when you guys get here.”
Blaine smirked. “Ha ha ha. That’s a joke in and of itself.”
“You wanna bet?”
Blaine knew he didn’t want to. He’d never been big on gambling. “No.”
“Didn’t think so,” Kurt started to strum the guitar. “Do your homework while I sing for you. Pretend I’m just an mp3.”
His boyfriend looked at the screen and smiled, nodding his head. “Ok. I guess I can do that.” he glanced up and saw that Wes was using a fork that looked like a gavel on the end and gave the man a really judgmental look.
Kurt started to slowly strum and tried his best not to mess up. “This is all very new to me.”
Blaine wrote down a few words and looked up at the screen. “I’m not going to judge you, darling. Take your time. Don’t be afraid to mess up, it’s all a part of getting better at it.”
Kurt’s cheeks were tinted pink and he shook his head. “You’re such a prince.”
“I’m the pauper.” Blaine smiled and looked back down at his work. “You’re the prince.”
The guys in the living room all sucked their teeth and Wes rolled his eyes and got up, taking his food with him. Blaine looked at them and smiled. “What?”
“Shut up, that’s what!” Thomas called out as he walked up the steps. Blaine shrugged.
If there's a prize for rotten judgement
I guess I've already won that
No man is worth the aggravation
That's ancient history, been there, done that!
Who'd'ya think you're kiddin'
He's the earth and heaven to you
Try to keep it hidden
Honey, we can see right through you
Blaine laughed and looked at his screen seeing Kurt bopping his head as he sung the Hercules song. “Really, baby boy?”
No chance, no way
I won't say it, no, no
You swoon, you sigh
Why deny it, uh-oh
It's too cliche
I won't say I'm in looovvvve
“You’re the biggest, cutest, most adorable dork I know Kurt Hummel. I mean singing both parts of the song like that—“
“You keep interrupting my genius,” Kurt said with a short laugh. “But I’m going to be for real now…”
Blaine grinned. “Sing Pony by Genuine—“
“No,” Kurt laughed. “I’m going to sing something sweet for you. Then, I’m going to end this Skype call until you’re done with your assignments.”
“Nooooooooooooo,” Blaine gave him the pouty face but Kurt refused to look at the camera, only strumming his guitar.
“Not doing it.”
“Look at me.”
“Nope.” Kurt smiled down at his fingers as they found the right chords. “When you’re done with everything you can Skype me back.”
Blaine sighed and propped his chin on his hand. “Fine.” he put the textbook on his lap and watched Kurt closely. “You’re beautiful.”
Kurt glanced up for a second and played softly. He smiled but didn’t reply to the compliment, and Blaine knew it was because of the blush on his cheeks. “Remember that you promised not to laugh.”
Blaine nodded. “I remember, beautiful.”
Kurt smiled and looked back down at his guitar. He wore Blaine’s football jersey and Blaine wasn’t sure why but he for sure thought it was the sexiest thing he’d ever seen. “Ready?”
He nodded.
Kurt cleared his throat and began; trying hard not to focus on the guitar but knowing he needed to not to mess up also.
So your friend's been telling me
You've been sleeping with my sweater
And that you can't stop missing me
Bet my friend's been telling you
I'm not doing much better
'Cause I'm missing half of me
And being here without you is like I'm waking up to
Only half a blue sky
Kinda there but not quite
I'm walking around with just one shoe
I'm half a heart without you
I'm half a man at best,
With half an arrow in my chest
I miss everything we do,
I'm half a heart without you
Blaine licked his lips as he listened to the lyrics. He tried not to blush and smile even wider than he already was because his boyfriend was literally the best boyfriend in the world and he was the luckiest guy he knew.
If you could spare an hour or so,
We'll go for lunch down by the river
We can really talk—
“Hey can we talk?”
Kurt turned around and shook his head no. “I’m in the middle of serenading my boyfriend right now so can it wait?”
Blaine smiled at Rachel as she climbed on the bed. “Hey Rach.”
“Hi Blaine…, what’s up?” she turned to Kurt, “I didn’t know you were video chatting because you have clothes on and that’s new—“
“Get out, you’re killing my vibe. I’m trying to be romantic—“
“Ok but when you’re done being a smooth operator you can come to my room. I really need to talk. Bye Blaine!”
Blaine waved goodbye as he watched Kurt nod at her. “Later Rach.”
Kurt turned back to the laptop. “I hadn’t messed up on a chord until she came over here. Did you realize?”
Blaine smiled. “I love the song and I’m sorry for doubting Sam because you’re amazing on the guitar…”
Kurt shrugged. “I’m not as confident with it as I’d like to be.”
Blaine looked at him. “You’re amazing. Listen, I think she needs you. I’m going to finish this assignment. Can we Facetime after your best friend duties?”
Kurt smiled and put the guitar down. “Kiss?”
Blaine put his lips to the camera and Kurt did the same; both making obnoxious noises. Eventually one of the guys threw something at Blaine and he pulled away rubbing his head, making Kurt laugh.
“I’ll text you after best friend duty. Smooches, baby.”
Blaine nodded. “Besos. Later, lovie.”
Kurt smiled and ended the Skype call. He left Blaine sitting there with a stupid look on his face as always and his fraternity brothers completely annoyed with him.
It wasn’t his fault he had an awesome boyfriend and they didn’t.
….
Finn took a seat on the bed next to Rachel and smiled as he looked up at the television. The hotel room he and Blaine shared was pretty nice. It had a balcony and everything. Right now, Kurt was out there yelling at his boyfriend to get off of it and stop being an idiot before he fell down decades of stories to the dirty, pigeon shit and old chewing gum covered New York City cement.
“They’re both really cute.” Rachel said with a smile. “It makes me happy, you know? Seeing Kurt like that, even though I was probably more afraid than he was about all of this… the long distance. I didn’t want him to get hurt but, look at him. Blaine makes him happy… even though Kurt’s hitting him right now. And Blaine seems like he’s happy as well.”
Finn smiled as he watched the two being adorable idiots on the balcony as well. “B’s happy too. All he talks about is Kurt and getting to see him again. He’s so different than he was before they’d met.”
Rachel looked at him. “It’s crazy to think that they’re doing this without a hitch. I mean I know that it has only been a month or so but… they’re falling in love over a thousand miles apart. Guess it could be done…”
Finn nodded. “I guess so.”
They both fell quiet. Outside on the balcony, Kurt looked down at the city and Blaine wrapped his arms around his waist. It was apparently the only way to sooth Kurt and to stop him from slapping his arm for being dumb and climbing on the railing.
“I think why it works for them is because they both knew what they wanted,” Finn thought aloud. “Not to say that I didn’t know what I wanted all those years ago. But I was 18 and in a new state and a new college with all new people and I didn’t think that I could do right by you. I thought you deserved better.”
Rachel nodded. “I thought I should be able to make the choice about what I wanted.”
Finn looked at her. “I know and I’m glad you did.”
“So don’t make it seem like you were concerned about me. You were being selfish and you wanted to start a new experience without a girlfriend hours and hours away to tie you down.”
Finn looked at her.
“I hope you got what you wanted.”
“I want you but apparently another man has that.”
Rachel smiled sadly, looking away from her ex. She stared at the television and tried not to let her emotions show. “I’m not with him anymore. We had a fight because he thinks that I’m still in love with you.”
Finn licked his lips and looked down at this folded hands. “Is it not true?”
“It could be. But I was trying to move on…”
“Maybe you shouldn’t.”
“I don’t want you to play with my heart, Finn. That’s not why you came to New York—“
“Rachel,” Finn grabbed her hand and stared into the girl’s brown eyes, trying hard to maintain eye contact when she tried her best to avoid him. “Please, you know that we’re going to end up together anyway. That’s just how it is when you’re meant to be with someone. So whether or not you try to get over me, it isn’t going to happen.”
Rachel pulled her hand away and shook her head. “I can’t do this.”
“We can try,” Finn stood up, “If they can be happy then I don’t see why we can’t. We just have to try too. The worst that can happen is we fail, but at least we’ll know for sure then.”
Rachel played with the star on her necklace. “I don’t know if I’m up for another heart break.”
Finn pulled her up and smiled. “I’m not going to force you to do anything you don’t want to but if you’re willing to try, I’m here. I’m sorry for everything I put you through back then and I don’t have any excuses but… I love you. It’ll always be that way.”
“The birthday boy is ready. Shall we go find a taxi?” Blaine asked as he stepped back inside. He smiled between the two of them until he realized that they were having an important conversation. Kurt then took his hand.
“We can give you two a few more minutes if necessary…”
“No,” Rachel shook her head and smiled at the both of them. “It’s fine. Let’s go give birthday boy an awesome dinner party.”
Finn watched her before looking at Blaine and his brother. “Yeah. Come on we don’t wanna keep you guys waiting.”
The group walked out of the hotel room and Kurt smiled as he got to hold Blaine’s hand again. It was probably his favorite part of being next to Blaine, after kissing him of course.
….
“Are you s-sure we should be doing this? We’re totally going to get caught and… fuck me,” Kurt smiled as he bounced back on Blaine’s cock, “fuck your parents are going to hate me if we get caught.”
“We won’t,” Blaine looked around the garage and smiled as he held Kurt’s hips, forcing him back on his dick. “They don’t have to know. You like that baby?”
Kurt nodded hard as he dug into the Italian leather. “Yessss….”
Blaine bit his lip and watched Kurt’s ass as he hit it from the back. He looked around the garage again, not sure what he was looking for exactly, but trying to make sure the coast was clear he guessed. “I just think being able to do you in the back of my dad’s favorite car is the ultimate ‘fuck off’ to him.”
Kurt nodded some more, moaning and biting down on the head rest. “Fuck me.”
Blaine threw his head back and started to move harder and faster. The Aston Martin moved back and forth with each thrust and Blaine licked his lips and grabbed a handful of Kurt’s hair, grinding his hips as he forced the man into the backseats and hit his prostate repeatedly.
“Oh my fucking god,” Kurt gasped, holding on for dear life. “Make me cum…please, babe…”
Blaine slid out and back in, enjoying the sounds of the slaps Kurt’s ass would make against him. “You only want to cum because you think they’re going to catch us… enjoy this baby…”
Kurt bit down on his arm as he stuck his ass in the air and took it; eyes rolling back. “B…oh, oh yes, Blainee…”
Blaine pulled his shirt over his head and let his hands move back to Kurt’s back, rubbing up and down as he fucked the man’s ass harder and harder. They eventually rested on his shoulder as the two of them fell down in the back seat of the white Aston Martin, and Blaine looked at his cock as it disappeared inside of his boyfriend. “Fuck… I was talking all that shit but I’m about to fucking cum,” he laughed, eyes closed as he moved in deeper. “Tell me how you want it Kurt Hummel.”
Kurt was panting and writhing as Blaine slowed down. “Don’t… I swear if you stop—“
“What’re you going to do?” Blaine pulled Kurt’s hair and kept his slow rhythm. “You’re going to beg me to fuck you is all. Right?”
Kurt cried out as his boyfriend thrust in hard, making his body shake. “Oh shit…”
Blaine slapped his ass and started to slam back in; a hand placed firmly on the window as he held Kurt’s side and pulled him back. “You wanna cum in my mouth, baby?”
Kurt bit his lip at the thought. “Oh, fuck yes- …I want those pretty lips around my dick—aah fuck me…”
Blaine noticed his handprint on the fogged glass as Kurt started singing his name. He cursed beneath his breath and thrust in five more times before spilling into the condom, his body tensing and relaxing and then tensing again when Kurt grinded his ass to help him through it. “Yes, baby… holy fuck.”
Kurt squeezed the passenger side seat as he bit down on his arm. After mumbling something that sounded very sexy, Blaine slapped him on the ass again and slowly began to pull out. He moved as much as he could and flipped Kurt over; wasting no time sinking his mouth over Kurt’s leaking cock. As he blew him and sucked on the head, and even played with his nuts, Kurt thrust up less than twenty times before he was coming into his boyfriend’s mouth. Blaine moaned as he swallowed it and licked up the shaft after; smirking to himself as Kurt lay there shaking.
“You taste so fucking good…” Blaine smiled and tried to fix his boyfriend’s tie. “Let me eat you.”
Kurt smiled and shook his head no. “Not now… your parents are probably looking for us.”
Blaine bit his lip and sat up. “They’ll probably call me when dinner is ready. Come on…”
Kurt shook his head no and sat up, pushing his boyfriend’s face away from his crotch. “I’m so nervous they have like surveillance down here or something with all these expensive cars and they probably will find out that we fucked in the back of your dad’s Aston Martin. Shit, this is going to come back to bite me in the ass. I was actually making progress with your mom at least… unless she was just pretending to like me.”
Blaine rolled his eyes and sat up for real this time. “She likes you.” he fixed his underwear first, then pulling up his pants. “What’s not to like?”
“We can ask your father that.” Kurt groaned when he saw some of the buttons were missing from his dress shirt. “Fuck, Blaine. Look what you did.”
Blaine smiled. “We’ll go up to my room and change.”
“And that won’t make them suspicious?”
Blaine started to remove the condom as he thought for a moment. “You worry way too much. Let’s just go upstairs and get dressed before Cooper can show up and we shouldn’t have a problem.”
Kurt took a deep breath and scratched his head. “Alright. Alright… I’ll follow you. Just promise me the dog will stay quiet? He totally gave me away when I tried sneaking down to the kitchen for more cheesecake last night.”
Blaine laughed as he tied the condom and then finished fixing his clothes. “It’s only because Juno loves you so much. Now c’mon.”
….
[To Dad]:
I don’t know. His father is a bit of a twat. But Blaine has been wonderful and he’s showing that he really cares about me and that we’re serious. This isn’t just a spring and summer fling for us like Mr. Anderson seems to think.
[From Dad]:
Does he know you two live together in NYC for the time being? That isn’t really a “fling”.
[To Dad]:
Why do you always bring up the living together? We’re grown and we can handle it.
[From Dad]:
Don’t get so defensive, junior. I’m just asking a question.
[To Dad]:
I’m sorry. It’s just that I’m tired of defending my relationship with Blaine. It should be enough that I love him and that I’d do anything for him, but because I’m not at the same socioeconomic level I’m not worthy.
[From Dad]:
Oh. You love him?
[To Dad]:
Wow. I didn’t mean to say that. Well I guess I did. I mean, I didn’t know I said that. I haven’t said it out loud.
[From Dad]:
Interesting. Just, don’t worry about anything. Be yourself. Be the man I raised you to be. If that’s enough for Blaine then that’s enough for his old man. Got it, kid?
“Who’re you texting?” Blaine rolled over on top of his boyfriend and smiled, kissing his lips softly. “Better not be another man,” and then another kiss, “you know I don’t share.”
Kurt smiled nervously and shook his head, kissing his boyfriend back. “I’m all yours. You know that, big head.”
Blaine looked down at him and cocked his head to the side. “Then what’s wrong, lovie?”
Kurt bit his lip. “Nothing. I… I was just talking to my dad. Letting him know we were having a good time here and all.”
Blaine nodded. “I hope you didn’t tell him we were stopping by Lima before heading back to New York…”
Kurt smiled. “And ruin the surprise? You know me better than that.”
Blaine rolled back over and grabbed the remote, smiling when Juno hopped on the end of the bed and made himself comfortable. “Ok good.”
Kurt looked down at his phone, sending a goodnight text to his dad before putting it on the charger. Blaine found Moulin Rouge already playing on one of the movie channels and smiled, lying down in bed. “You got me hooked on this, you know.”
Kurt laughed and snuggled into his side, throwing the sheets over them because of the AC. They watched the movie in silence for a while before Kurt looked up at him, kissing his cheek.
“You better sing ‘Come What May’ with me when it comes on in a minute…”
“I love you, Blaine.”
Blaine’s hand on Kurt’s waist got a little tighter as the man tried to register what he’d just heard. Kurt was a little fearful when he realized the words tumbled out of his mouth and then he looked like he was about to apologize… only his boyfriend gave him the softest smile he could muster and kissed him on his forehead. “I love you too Kurt.”
Kurt blushed and buried his face in the crook of the man’s neck. He watched the film; skin still burning. He couldn’t believe he’d said that aloud. He didn’t know if he meant too… he couldn’t remember the thought process of it all, but it was out and Blaine had said it back. And he knew he meant it.
Never knew I could feel like this
Like I've never seen the sky before
Want to vanish inside your kiss
Every day I love you more and more
Kurt smiled as Blaine sang the lyrics in his ear along with the film.
Screw everyone that had a problem with it. He didn’t care. The only authors he trusted to write their story was Blaine Anderson and Kurt Hummel.
No one else mattered.
