"Just put the t-shirt on.. please?"  Kurt Anderson-Hummel stood stoicly in the middle of his and Blaine Anderson-Hummel's bedroom, long, graceful arms folded over his chest, he was sticking his tongue out and shaking his head like a stubborn child that didn't want to eat his vegetables.

"nope uh-uh, don't even touch me with it."  "baby, sweetheart, love of my life, we have had the baby for a week and he has already ruined nine-hundred dollars' worth of shirts,  c'mon, please, they're just for here, i just got them for here."  " Where? where did you get them"  Blaine hesitated, he knew if he told his husband it would not help his case, " -- Costco"  predictably, Kurt rolled his eyes  " how much did that cost?" he said gesturing to the oddly stiff grey thing on Blaine's arm.  Again, hesitation. "it was um -- three dollars" Kurt's eyes widened and his nostrils flared, his pupils narrowed, Blaine scratched the curly hairs at the nape of his neck bracing himself before he continued " -- for the whole pack -- of five."  Kurt  gritted his teeth and dared to ask " what's it even made of?"  "it's um--- polyblend"  Blaine flinched as he saw his husband about to freak out.  Just then the high peal of a hungry baby waking up from his afternoon nap rang throughout the small new york apartment, Kurt whipped his head towards the sound then back at his husband, his heart in his eyes.
Kurt had thought, when he first realized he was gay, really when he found out how babies were made, that he would never have kids, and he'd always wanted kids, since he was four or five years old, even. but now laws had changed and he had made beautiful female friends who would gladly put their bodies through hell for him, and he had taken to fatherhood with flying colors, most parents hated when their babies cried, but Kurt loved  to hear his baby boy crying for him, he would get more curmudgenly later in his son's infancy, once the lack of sleep started to get to him, but those first few weeks were just parental bliss, Blaine thought Kurt was so beautiful in daddy mode.
The taller man was about to go to his son, but at the door he glanced down at his expensive cerulean sweater then back at his Husband, he sighed and pulled it over his head, goose bumps blooming over his pale flesh, January in New York could get really cold, he crossed the few steps and pressed his lips to Blaine's " we're dads" he whispered excitedly, and he reached out and grabbed the icky, grey, synthetically fibered, sixty cent, hecho en mexico t-shirt and pulled it on without any problem whatsoever and went to tend to his child with a smile on his face and a spring in his step.

Blaine just stood there, grinning.
He was overflowing with pride and love and too many feelings, he smiled down at the floor then followed Kurt through the bedroom door.
