Author's Notes: Here it is! Sorry it took so long, i've been REALLY busy.

Kurt walked down the hall, and then got into the elevator, pressing the button labeled ‘1.’ At the last moment before the door closed, a young woman about Kurt’s age ran up to the elevator. Kurt stuck an arm in the door to keep it open for her. The woman’s face was flustered like she’d been running. She smiled, and nodded to Kurt, before saying, “Thanks,” in a sweet voice. Kurt nodded, and smiled back. The woman said, “Really, thanks. I hate taking the stairs.” Kurt nodded again, feeling kind of awkward with the woman looking at him with funny eyes. She said, “I’m Jenna.” And she held out a hand. Kurt shook it, and said, “Kurt.” Jenna smiled, “That’s a cool name.” Kurt glanced at the small light that told which floor they were on. It said 4. Jenna inched closer to Kurt, “I just moved here from Alabama. All alone. By myself. Yep, just me, myself, and I. Gets kind of lonely, you know?” She smiled hopefully, and looked into Kurt’s eyes. Kurt looked away and thought *Oh god, help me now.* It seemed like an eternity before Kurt heard the ding of the elevator, and the doors slid open. It had only been about a minute, but he felt like it had been weeks. He stepped out quickly, and Jenna followed. She said, “I moved to New York after my boyfriend broke up with me and my parents kicked me out with nothing by my scarce belongings and the clothes on my back…” Ten minutes and one life story later, Kurt finally interjected and said, “I’m going to be late to my class. It’s been really nice meeting you, Jenna, but I’ve got to go.” Jenna smiled sadly, “Okay. College, that’s fine.” She grabbed a scrap of paper and a pen from her purse, which Kurt though was a bright, appalling, ‘please throw up on me’ color yellow. She scribbled something down and said, ‘Call me sometime, kay?” Kurt smiled, and then started, “Well, um, you see...” Jenna tilted her head, “I live upstairs with my boyfriend.” Kurt finished. Jenna’s face fell. “Oh.” She said with a sort of distain. “Well, I guess I’ll see you then.” Kurt smiled somewhat uncomfortably, and walked to his car, letting out a long breath.

End Notes: Can't wait to write the next one!
