I decided to go with a soft approach to the D/s aspect to this fic. I didn't want to rip Kurt's masculinity from him. I still see them as equals and I want to keep the D/s thing light for now. I might choose to make it more heavy later on in the fic when I incorporate smut. *wiggles eyebrows*. Again, thanks for reading and don't forget to review!
Kurt woke up bright and early, unable to get almost any sleep. He ended up falling into a restless sleep a couple of hours after he had laid down, his mind distracted. He sat up when the sweet aroma of coffee filled his nostrils. Wondering if Steph was already up, he got up and walked to the kitchen.
“Steph, you up?” Kurt called out, padding to the kitchen. He saw Steph there, pouring coffee into two mugs, handing one to Kurt when she was done.
“Morning, sunshine! I don't know about you, but I got amazing sleep last night. Slept like a baby,” Steph said enthusiastically, sipping her coffee. Kurt groaned.
“Well good for you. While you were dreaming of rainbows and pixie dust, I couldn't get any sleep. But that's good for you,” Kurt gulped his coffee. Steph shrugged.
“Well, no matter how tired you are, we're still going out tonight, right?” Steph asked, jumping on her toes.
“Of course. Wouldn't miss it for the world,” Kurt mumbled. He honestly was excited for that night. They could get drunk, party, throw caution to the wind, and he got to see Blaine.. yeah. Kurt was excited.
Steph seemed to be an unending bubble of energy that morning, because the kitchen that was somewhat dirty the night before was spotless, and the dining room floor that had crumbs littered about it previously, was now cleanly swept and freshly mopped.
“You're one of those people, aren't you?” Kurt asked teasingly, finishing off his coffee. Steph put her hand to her chest in mock anguish.
“Why, whatever do you mean?” Steph asked.
“Steph. The kitchen and dining room are spotless. You clean when you're excited, huh?” Even though he was feigning irritation, he couldn't help but find it adorable.
“Fine. Yeah. I totally get if you want to abandon this friendship because of it,” Steph turned away and finished her coffee in silence. Kurt chuckled.
“You're adorable.” Steph scoffed.
“Adorable?” Steph turned around again and punched Kurt in the arm.
“Adorable but strong. Jeez, Steph,” Kurt said, rubbing the spot he just hit.
“What can I say? I'm sketchy,” Steph said. “C'mon, the cast list should be up by now.”
Oh, boy.
They walked back to the living room, Steph pulling her laptop out and typing up the web address. To say Kurt was nervous was a large understatement. He knew he was a strong vocalist and actor but there were others that fit the role of Parker perfectly. He knew Steph would get Janet though. She was perfect for the role. The website finally loaded up and Steph looked to Kurt, cursor hovering over the cast list tab.
“Are you ready?” Steph asked. Kurt took a deep breath, covering his eyes with his hands.
“Click on it and tell me what the cast says. I'm too nervous to look myself,” Kurt said, biting his lip.
“Are you sure?” Steph asked. Kurt almost laughed at the drama of the entire situation.
“Yeah. Just do it,” Kurt said. He heard the click of the mouse pad and held his breath. He heard Steph gasp. “Kurt, look,” Steph whispered. Kurt shook his head. “Kurt, seriously. Look.” Kurt took a chance and peeked out from in between his fingers.
Parker………………………………………………………………………………… Kurt Hummel
Logan………………………………………………………………………………… Blaine Anderson (Director)
Janet…………………………………………………………………………………. Stephanie Montes
“We- we did it,” Kurt whispered. He turned to Steph who had her hand over her mouth, tears leaking out of her eyes. “We did it! Oh my God, Steph!”
He pulled Steph into a tight hug. Steph gasped out a laugh, both of them on the verge of hysteria. Kurt laughed and cried until there was only one thought his brain produced. Blaine. Him and Blaine are going to be love interests. Blaine whose eyes can melt a glacier. Blaine whose touch can warm the hearts of millions. Blaine whose acting could bring a building down.
Before Kurt understood what he was doing, he pulled out his phone and opened up a new text message.
"Whatre you doing?" Steph asked, voice full of emotion.
"Texting Blaine," Kurt mumbled distractedly.
To Blaine:
Logan, O Logan. Wherefore art thou, Logan?
Steph peered over Kurts shoulder and at the screen. She scoffed.
"Youre crazy," Steph said.
"You love it," Kurt replied.
"I cant deny that," Steph smiled.
Kurts phone chimed with a new text message. Kurt hurried to open it.
From Blaine:
What light through yonder window breaks? It is the east, and Parker is the sun.
Kurts heart sped up. Of course Blaine would text back another Romeo and Juliet quote. Of course. His phone chimed again.
From Blaine:
I see youve read the cast list.
What did Kurt say to that? He couldnt just say, "oh yeah. Thanks for noticing my obvious talent." He looked up and thought, but honestly nothing came to mind. After a few moments Kurt heard a groan of impatience and then felt the phone being snatched from his hand.
"Hey, no! Steph please give it back," Kurt was reaching over Steph to try and get the phone from her hand.
"No way. You and Blaine are so madly in love with each other. One of you has to make the first move," Steph said, typing something in the phone. Kurt groaned and sat back, letting do her thing even if it ruined his chances with Blaine. He chuckled to himself. Maybe he was too submissive.
Steph handed the phone to him shortly after sending it, smiling wildly.
To Blaine:
I did. Hoping we can celebrate tonight? :*
"Stephanie Montes!" Kurt screamed, face burning in his hands.
"What?" Steph asked, pretending to examine her nails. "You obviously wouldnt have done it. I had to step in."
"Of course I wouldnt have done this! Too soon, Steph," Kurt said. Steph shrugged.
"I helped you, and you know it."
Kurt rolled his. His phone chimed again.
From Blaine:
Cant wait ;)
"Oh my God," Kurt said, face a consistent shade of pink. He remembered something that happened at the theatre the past few days and decided to experiment, feeling a burst of confidence from Blaines reply. He scooted to the other end of the couch so Steph wouldnt see.
"Ahh, so one text and you guys are already sexting?" Steph said, smirk playing on her lips.
"Oh shut up," Kurt said, Steph laughing.
Kurt thought about how he should word it but decided to just go simple.
To Blaine:
See you tonight, Sir.
Kurt bit his lip and pressed send. He didnt hear from Blaine anymore that day.

Kurt looked at the table beside his bed, eyeing the time on his digital clock. 8:30. They were going to meet up at the bar at 9:00. Kurt's heart sped up. Kurt still hadn't heard from Blaine after he texted him last and Kurt was starting to believe the maybe it wasn't such a good idea. He left Steph's place an hour before, realizing that he didn't have any good clothes to wear that night. All three of them were going to meet up at the bar separately.
He looked back at his reflection in the mirror. He wanted to look good, but he also wanted to be comfortable. He wore tight distressed pants with a white long sleeved shirt topped with a black vest. He decided to style his hair a little more casually, swept from his face but messy. He nodded his head in approval and turned away, grabbing his wallet and phone before dashing out and flagging down a taxi. He hopped in a told him the address to the bar they were going to. Once they were driving, he sat back.
To Kurt, being on stage doesn't make him nervous. He feels at home when he's up there. He loves losing himself in his character and acting and singing his heart out. But stuff like this. Stuff like going on dates. That's what made Kurt nervous. His palms were sweating when the taxi finally pulled up, and he grabbed money from his wallet, giving the money to the cabbie before walking out.
He looked around outside to see if Steph or Blaine were waiting out there, but when he found no one but some old guy smoking he went inside. He showed his ID to the guy in front and made his way to the bar, searching for hazel eyes. He got to the bar and sat down, pulling out his phone to text Steph.
To Steph:
You here?
Kurt sighed and pocketed his phone, killing his time by staring at the bartender.
“Can I buy you a drink?” Kurt felt warm breath on his ear and he smiled, turning around to find Blaine standing there. He looked amazing. He had on oxfords, cuffed jeans, and a black v-neck. Kurt's mouth watered before realizing Blaine had asked him a question.
“That depends. Will you sit with me?” Kurt asked, biting his lip.
“Of course,” Kurt reveled in the hoarse tone of his voice.
Blaine took a seat next to Kurt, hand settling on the small of his back. Kurt blushed and looked down, trying not to make eye contact with him. When he finally looked up, Blaine was smiling and staring right at him, eyes burning that same fire the first day they met.
“So, what will you have?” Blaine asked, jerking his head toward the bar.
“Rum and coke,” Kurt said, lowering his head in submission once more. He loved feeling this way. He loved knowing that Blaine could do anything to him and he'd be completely fine with it. They weren't even together and Kurt already felt an unspoken bond with him.
Blaine nodded and turned to the bartender, shooting off Kurt's order as well as his own- a long island. The stools at the bar were so close together, Kurt could feel Blaine's sweet smelling breath on the side of his neck. He could feel Blaine all around him and suddenly he became painfully aware of Blaine's burning touch on his back. It was burning a hole through him, and it almost felt like a possessive touch. As if he'd fight anyone who so as looked at Kurt. This was going to be a long night.
He saw his drink set down in front of him and he grabbed it, gulping it down quickly, throat unbearably dry.
“Slow down,” Blaine said, sipping his drink slowly. Kurt immediately pulled the cup from his lips and set it down. He blushed at his eagerness to please, looking down. He was too afraid to look at Blaine in fear he was judging him. He felt Blaine's finger under his chin, coaxing him to look up. He did and Blaine's eyes were more dark than Kurt had ever seen them.
“I- I” Blaine was stuttering. He never stuttered. “I read your text yesterday, and I..” Kurt held his breath. “Kurt, I want you to dance with me.”
Blaine looked nervous and Kurt felt that same thickness in his chest when he was around Blaine. His heart melted and before he knew it he was standing up, pulling Blaine up with him.
“Of course I'll dance with you..” Kurt said, mouth next to Blaine's ear. “..sir.”
Blaine growled, all traces of nervousness gone as he grabbed Kurt's hips and pushed him out onto the dance floor. They made their way right into the center of the dance floor, gravitating toward each other instantly. Kurt wound his arms around Blaine's neck, pressing forward. Blaine's hands rested on Kurt's hips, his mouth hovering over Kurt's neck.
They were both a little tipsy, but both of them were sober enough to know what was going on. And they both needed each other. Kurt pressed his cheek to Blaine's so his mouth was right next to his ear.
“You can if- if you want. I want you to. I really want you to,” Kurt whispered into his ear. He felt Blaine's hands tighten their grip on his hips and Kurt felt his erection harden with the thought of bruises on his hips the next day. Blaine growled when he felt Kurt's erection pressed against his thigh. He turned Kurt around so fast, Kurt wasn't aware what was happening until his back was pressed against Blaine's chest.
“You have know idea what you do to me, baby. Fuck,” Blaine's lips latched onto the back of Kurt's neck and sucked a bruise onto his skin, licking over it when he was done.
“Sir..” Kurt moaned, pressing his body to Blaine's even more than it already was.
Blaine all of a sudden tensed and moved away from Kurt, hands slipping off of his hips. Kurt turned around, confusion written on his face.
“Did I do something wrong?” Kurt asked, cheeks stained crimson.
“No, but we need to talk before this happens, Kurt. I don't want this,” he gestured his hand between the both of them. “to start with a drunken act. I- I really care about you Kurt, and if this is going to happen we need to talk. About us.”
Blaine looked wrecked, as if he was fighting a battle in his head. Kurt knew what he meant and he agreed, so he walked forward and grabbed his hand, leading him to the bathroom. They took the largest stall and Kurt turned to face Blaine, lowering his head before sinking down to his knees, sitting back on his heels. Nothing happened at first. All that they could hear were the heavy breaths coming from each other.
Then Kurt felt Blaine's hand tangle in Kurt's hair, tugging it to bring Kurt back to his feet. Blaine cupped Kurt's face when he was standing, looking into his eyes.
“Is that what you want? You want me to be your dominant?” Blaine asked, stroking Kurt's cheeks with his thumbs. Kurt nodded, afraid that if he talked his voice would come out sounding hoarse.
Blaine nodded and leaned forward, pecking the side of Kurt's mouth quickly before pulling away. Kurt blushed and looked down again.
Kurt's phone started ringing in his pocket and both of them jumped, laughing to break the tension. Kurt shot an apologetic look to Blaine before pulling out his phone and answering it. He immediately heard Steph's loud voice resonating through the phone.
“Kurt! Where are you? I've been here for twenty minutes trying to find you and Blaine! Is he here?” Steph shouted through the phone. Kurt held the phone away from his ear until she was done. He brought the phone closer, rolling eyes even though Steph couldnt see him.
"Yes, Steph hes here... Were in the bathroom... Oh my Gosh no Steph... Just... Yeah okay. See you there," Kurt hung up with a sigh and looked up to see Blaine staring at him, hunger evident in his golden orbs.
"We- we should probably go out there. She grabbed us a table. Shes waiting for us," Kurt said, putting his phone in his pocket and fixing his hair a little bit.
"Sure. But not before I do this," Blaine walked around Kurt so he was behind him, pushing him forward until his chest was against the wall and Blaines arms were on either side of him. Kurt could feel him everywhere and it felt so good.
"Please," Kurt whimpered.
"Ssh, baby," Blaine said sweetly. Kurt shut his mouth and waited, forehead pressed against the wall. Then he felt Blaines lips against the fresh bruise he gave him when they were dancing. The kiss was tender and sweet and Kurt leaned back against his lips, seeking more. Blaine pulled away, grabbing Kurts hand.
"Good boy," Blaine said, and then they were walking out, Kurt trying desperately to paw down his erection through his jeans.
Blaine and Kurt weaved through the crowd of people until they spotted Steph sitting down at a table, nursing a beer and talking amicably with a hunky guy standing over her. Kurt didn't know if he wanted to walk up there holding hands with Blaine, but Blaine got the point because he pulled his hand away from Kurt's with a final squeeze. Kurt leaned over so that Blaine could hear him.
“Thank you,” Kurt said. He pulled away and started walking toward Steph, Blaine close behind. Steph spotted them and her smile grew.
“Kurt! Blaine! This is Scott. He used to be in the military,” Steph said, jumping up and hugging them both, splashing her beer around.
“That's.. cool. Steph, how much have you had to drink?” Kurt asked, eyeing “Scott” suspiciously. He seemed to get the point and left without saying a word.
“I don't know like four bottles of whatever this is,” she replied, holding the bottle up and waving it around not even noticing the fact that Scott had left.
Blaine put his hand on Kurt's lower back for the second time that night, and Kurt felt a tremor run up his spine at the touch. He didn't think he'd ever get used to the feeling of Blaine's hands on him.
“Do you wanna take her home? I mean, I know it hasn't even been an hour, but she looks awful, and I think we have a lot to talk about,” Blaine said, breath tickling Kurt's ear.
“I think that's the best option,” Kurt said. He walked up to Steph and started pulling her up. “C'mon Steph. Let's go home.”
“What? No! I'm having so much fun,” Steph whined, digging her heels in the ground. Kurt closed his eyes trying to find the “boss” inside of him. He hated arguing with people.
“I know, Steph, but I think it's best if we just go home,” Kurt replied. Steph pouted, still refusing to leave. Kurt brought a finger to his temple, rubbing it briefly before looking up at Blaine, pleading with his eyes. Blaine got it immediately and walked up to Steph.
“Stephanie, we can always party another night, but the truth is Kurt and I are both feeling a little tired, and we want to get out of here. We just want to make sure you get home okay,” Blaine said, voice relaxed and calm. Stephanie seemed to be weighing the situation. She sighed and put her bottle down.
“Alright fine, but you guys owe me a night,” Steph said, walking toward the exit.
“You're a life saver,” Kurt said quietly, grabbing Blaine's hand as they followed Steph out.
“I know how you feel,” Blaine said, looking at Kurt affectionately. Kurt blushed.
He couldn't wait to get home.
