Kurt was on his way to the restaurant where he was going to meet Blaine for their date. He was running late,his manager told him to do three more songs before he was able to leave the concert. He just hoped Blaine would not be mad and leave him. Kurt looked at the time, damn he hated being late. Kurt pulled into the parking lot and jumped out of the car. Blaine was waiting for him outside."Hi Blaine, oh my goodness Im so so sorry Im late..." "Its okay Kurt calm down. Can we just go inside its getting kinda chilly out here."Blaine smiled. "Ya of course." Kurt held the door open for Blaine as they went in. Kurt watched as Blaine looked around in amazement."W...whoa." Blaine stuttered. It wasnt much, but there was a high ceiling that was three storys high, and a large chandelier in the middle. He had it admit though it was beautiful. The waitress came to show us to out seats. Once they were seated Kurt decided to break to silence."Have you never been here before?" "Kurt...this place is huge." Blaine still was not over the shock."Ya it is. Do you like it? Is it too much?" Kurt bit his lip starting to worry. Blaine looked at Kurt, and Kurt could see all of the amazement, wonder, shock, surprise, and a hint of disbelief. Kurt was getting anxious waiting for Blaine to say something. Blaine just looked down at the menu that the waitress just brought to us before she asked what they would like to drink. Kurt asked for a diet coke and looked to Blaine to find that Blaine was still looking at him. "Blaine, you can get anything you want." Kurt assured. Blaine whispered something under his breath. "Im sorry what did you say?" The waitress asked. " Pepsi please." Blaine said a little louder this time. The waitress nodded and told us that she would be right back with our drinks. Kurt looked at Blaine. " Blaine please say something." Kurt begged. Blaine finally got over the shock when he heard Kurt ask him to say something. " Kurt, I...I dont know what to say, I...this is amazing. I...Im sorry if I freaked you out by not saying anything."Blaine finally said. "No you didnt freak me out. Im glad you like it."Kurt smiled. Blaine just nodded and looked down at the menu. The waitress came back with their drinks and took there orders. "So Blaine, tell me about yourself."Kurt started a conversation. "Well... There is not much to say...um...what would you like to know?" Blaine asked shyly. "Lets start with something easy... What is your favorite colour?" Kurt asked. " Green. What is your favorite food?" Blaine asked starting a game of 20 questions. Kurt laughed. "Spaghetti. Do you have any brothers or sisters?"Kurt asked tilting his head. " 1 older brother. What insect do you hate most?" Blaine was running out of questions, so he just started asking random unimportant questions. "Spiders, Urg they are just disgusting. What is your favorite movie?" "Snow White. What is your favorite song?". It went on like that till it was time to go home. "Can I give you a ride?" Kurt asked because he wanted to make sure Blaine got home safe. " No Im okay, my house is not too far from here, I can walk thanks for the offer though." Not a complete lie Blaine thought. " Okay, I had a lovely time today Blaine." Kurt turned to look at Blaine with a big smile on his face. Blaine looked up to look at Kurt, and his breath caught when he realized how close their faces were. Kurt leaned in a little closer so their noses were touching and waited for Blaine to make the next move. As expected Blaine closed the distance between them and pressed his lips against Kurts gently. Kurt kissed back instantly wrapping his arms around Blaines shoulders. Blaines arms went around his waist and held him close never wanting to let go. Eventually, Kurt pulled back and they just looked in each others eyes smiling so much Kurt just had to kiss him again, but Kurt knew if he did that he would never stop so he kissed Blaines nose and pulled back. " Ill see you around Blaine." Kurt smiled and turned to get into his car and was gone. Blaine smiled. For the first time in years, he felt safe. Kissing Kurt was like heaven, so beautiful, easy, safe, loving; but at the same time he was scared. Last time he had let someone close, he moved and never spoke to Blaine again. Blaine started walking back to the tree, exhausted from the day, and excited for the next day, and if he would see Kurt again.
