The next morning, Blaine woke up cold. He turned around and realized that Kurt was already up. He sat up and rubbed his eyes. He heard the bedroom door open and close. He looked up at Kurt with sleepy eyes.
"Good morning Blaine. Did you sleep well?" Kurt asked placing the breakfast tray on the bed, and moving to sit next to Blaine.
"Yes I did thank you."Blaine said with a yawn.
"Good. I made you breakfast if your hungry."Kurt turned to pick up the tray and placed it on his lap.
"You didnt have to do that." Blaine said while reaching over to grab an orange slice and popping it in his mouth.
"I know, but I wanted to." Kurt replied with a smile. They ate breakfast in silence. After breakfast, they got dressed and got ready to go out. Kurt refused to tell Blaine where they were going.
"Come on please?" Blaine begged.
"Blaine, if I tell you it wouldnt be a surprise." Kurt sighed.
" Just a hint?" Blaine continued trying.
"No Blaine. No hint." Kurt laughed. Blaine could be so cute sometimes. They got in the car and were on the road going somewhere that is unfamiliar to Blaine.
"Please?"Blaine continued.
"Patients Blaine, we are almost there." Kurt told Blaine$
Almost where? There is nothing here." Blaine said while looking out the window. They were an a road with no buildings around, just grass on both sides.
"Youll see." Was Kurts reply. Blaine just sighed and laid back in his seat. The car came to a stop just a few minutes later.
"Kurt, where are we?" Blaine asked. There was still no buildings around but the only thing different from before were the trees. Kurt got out of the car and went around to Blaines side to open the door and help him out.
"Kurt?" Blaine asked again.
"Relax Blaine, its just a short walk from here." Kurt assured. Blaine gave up and walked beside Kurt, holding his hand, into somewhere deeper in the park. They come to a stop when Kurt turned to Blaine.
"Have you ever climbed a tree?" Kurt asked.
"No, I dont think so." Blaine replied.
"Well today, we are going to be climbing trees." Kurt said with a huge smile on his face. Kurt walked up to a large tree, and started to climb it.
"Hey Blaine, you coming up?" Kurt shouted from the tree. Blaine tried to climb up after him but failed. Kurt laughed at Blaines pout.
"Would you like some help down there?" Kurt shouted from a high branch.
"Yes please." Blaine responded still pouting. Kurt jumped down from the tree and landed behind Blaine. Blaine jumped and screamed as he turned around to face Kurt with a horrified look. Kurt laughed. Blaine put a hand over his heart trying to catch his breath.
"You scared me." Blaine said with his puppy eyes and a pout.
"Im sorry." Kurt said still laughing. Blaine tried to hide a smile and failed.
"Are you going to teach me how to climb the tree?" Blaine asked.
" Of course. Grab onto that branch." Kurt said pointing to a low branch.
"Then put your feet on the trunk of the tree and pull yourself up to sit on the branch." Kurt instructed. After Blaine did so, Kurt climbed up with Blaine. They slowly worked their way to the top. Once Blaine looked up he was shocked to see a beach. The beach was empty and beautiful. Blaine looked at Kurt.
"I used to come here when I was upset, or when I just needed to be alone. It never fails to calm me." Kurt explained.
"Its beautiful." Blaine stated.
"Yes it is." Kurt laughed.
"Takes a lot of work to get up here though." Blaine smiled
"I used to take my frustration out on the tree for being in the way." Kurt giggled. They sat there for about half of an hour enjoying the view.
"My butts starting to hurt." Blaine complained moving around carefully on the branch.
"We could go if you want to?" Kurt asked Blaine.
"Where are we going to go?" Blaine asked.
"Its a surprise."Kurt said. They both climbed down from the tree and walked back to the car. Kurt started the car and they were on the road again.
"Please?" Blaine began.
"Nope." Kurt replied understanding what Blaine was asking.
