Author's Notes: HI!!! Sorry for the wait, I know two days isn't a lot, but still.I loved Glee on Tuesday, I was dying laughing. Poor Blainey! This chapter might be a little longer, by the way.<3I'll shut up now.-still don't own glee-

"New York!" Kurt squealed, clasping his hands together as Blaine shut the door to their apartment after unpacking the last box. Blaine was just about to respond when a voice echoed from the kitchen.

"HEYYY!" Cooper bounced out of the kitchen, twisting his brother's bow tie and messing up Kurt's hair.

"Coop, what are you doing here?" Blaine set down his bag and glared at his brother. To be honest, he'd planned on ‘celebrating' New York with Kurt.

"I brought some friends of yours," He pointed at the kitchen door just as Rachel and Finn walked in. They embraced both boys in a hug.

"I have to go though, man. Hot date with a production company, might be getting a job here in New York, then I could be with you all the time!" Blaine gave a sarcastic cheer as Cooper patted his shoulder and left.

"Honey, don't get too upset about it. You have school tomorrow and so do I. Let's go to bed early once Finn and Rachel leave, okay?" Kurt whispered in Blaine's ear. Blaine simply nodded and smiled at Rachel and Finn.

Rachel was nodding fiercely in her own conversation with Finn. "We just came because Cooper practically dragged us out of our apartment. We really should go, too." Finn waved and gave Kurt a simple pat on the arm. As soon as the door was shut, the lock clicked.

"I love auto lock," Blaine sighed and went to change. Kurt was already in his pajamas, so he simply hugged a pillow to his chest, falling backwards on the couch.

-

"Time to get up, sunshine!" Kurt was tapping on Blaine's shoulder, a smell of pancakes coming from the kitchen. Blaine groaned and rolled over. Kurt laughed a little. "Come on, or I'll start singing to you." Blaine mumbled something inaudibly.  "What was that?"

"I don't wanna go."

"This is New York, Blaine. It's a school for the arts. Nobody's going to bully you there. I know it's different from here, but," Kurt stopped as a finger pressed to his lips.

"God," Blaine chuckled, "I love how you go cross-eyed when I do that. Anyways," His tone became very serious. "It's not bullies I'm worried about, Kurt. I'm worried about other gay guys."

"Why on earth would you be worried about that, honey?" Kurt passed him a plate of pancakes, and then proceeded to finish his own and sip orange juice from the cheap glasses they'd gotten at a department store.

"It's just," Blaine picked at his pancakes, "You know, I'm pretty sure there will be a few and... I don't want them to hit on me... I don't want you to think that I..." The words Blaine wanted just weren't coming to his lips. But, Kurt solved that quickly. He lifted Blaine's chin and kissed him gently. "I'm not worried," he whispered with another kiss. "But," he said loudly, causing Blaine to jump, "You have to eat. Go! I'll set out your clothes. You should leave your hair, by the way," Kurt added on the way to the bedroom.

Blaine's lips tasted of pancake syrup and Kurt. He'd never been able to place exactly what Kurt tasted like, but he knew he liked it. As he washed his plate, Blaine thought of so long ago when they were sitting in Sunday school, learning that Jesus knew all the answers. He sighed to himself. So many things had changed since then.

"Kurt?" Blaine raised his voice a little on the bus. They'd gotten bus passes so that they could go to school together in the mornings when Kurt had classes.

"Yes?" Kurt had been staring down at a fashion magazine, obviously nervous for his first day at college.

"Can we go to church?" Blaine was quiet, almost too quiet to hear on the bus. He knew Kurt would pass it off as if he didn't hear him, even if he did.

"What?" Kurt knew what Blaine said, but he didn't want to think he did.

"I said, can we go to church?" Blaine raised his voice a little, not in an angry way, just so that Kurt couldn't pretend not to hear him.

"Blaine, you know how I feel about that..."

"Kurt, churches are different in New York! There are places that will be accepting of us," He took Kurt's hands, "I really, really want this, Kurt. Just try, please? Once?" He pouted his lip a little and his eyes became those all-too-familiar pools of dark chocolate.

"Alright, alright," Kurt rolled his eyes and laughed a little. "This is my stop, baby. See you later, good luck, I love you!" He leaned down to kiss Blaine and then patted his shoulder. In Ohio, they would've gotten glares. Here in New York, however, nobody even paid them any attention. Blaine liked that. He got off at the next stop, which happened to be his school, and walked in.

Blaine sighed as he found his locker. This school was a lot different than the ones in Ohio, and even in Boston, and he missed his friends. He took out his phone and pulled out an old number.

Angel?

Again, so honored that you found the time to text me.

Sorry, sorry.

What's wrong?

What do you mean?

Please, you haven't text me in months and you expect me to think there is no reasoning behind it? Bull shit, Blaine.

Raaaaaaaaaawr. Someone's feisty.

Get to the point, seriously. I'm in French.

Like you even care about French.

Angel?

If you had kept up with me, you would've known that I've been planning to do a foreign study in Paris next year. I'm a freshman in college, Blaine. Or did you forget that, too?

Blaine stopped for a second. Even though it may not have been to the same degree, he realized that he'd been doing the same thing to Angel that Kurt had done to him. He shuddered, remembering how bad that had Kurt. His classes didn't start for 20 minutes and there was a coffee shop right near his first class, so he walked towards that area and stood in line.

Okay, okay, fine. I'm sorry. I know how that feels. I'm living in New York now. With Kurt. My... boyfriend.

Dear god, seriously? All of this stuff you didn't tell me.

Sorry, again.

It's fine, it's fine. I'm just happy. So what's up in NYC?

Finishing out my senior year at Frank Sinatra.

Good school for the arts, Blaine! Way to go getting in there! Did Kurt's family move?

Uh, no, actually...

You don't mean... Blaine, really?

Blaine.

BLAINE!

Geez, I was ordering coffee. But yes, we live together. Alone. In NYC. He goes to NYADA.

Ah, yet another excellent school. Thought he was a fashion guy, not a singer?

Both, Angel, both.

Oh, okay. Well, that's great. I hope you really love him because living together is a big thing... Wait, Blaine, you're only 17, that's illegal, isn't it?

First of all, he's 17 too.

Can you guys even live on your own?

Not really supposed to. You can, however, move out when you're 16 in NYC. At any rate, though, we have Finn and Rachel listed as taking care of us. You remember them, right? Rachel at least?

Haha, yeah! The one who asked you out?

Yes.

Don't get in trouble with the cops.

We turn 18 in like two weeks. I wouldn't worry about it.

18 on the 18th!

You remembered?

Of course I did. I didn't forget you, Blaine, just like you never forgot Kurt. I'm forgiving you, too, just like you did with Kurt. See a pattern?

...What's this leading to?

Dunno. I just want you to know, though, I am NOT dating you.

Whyyy? I'm hot.

...You're also gay and taken, dumbass. Also, I don't play for that team.

No, Angel, you're not a gay guy.

I mean I'm not straight.

What?

Remember when you deleted your old e-mail?

I actually just lost the password.

Well, anyways, I had sent you this long e-mail about me being lesbian.

Oh, Angel, is this why you were so upset that I never answered you?

Yes, and I lost the courage to tell you.

I don't care, you know. Not to be insensitive.

Gee, shocker, considering you're capital "g" GAYY.

:P Shut up. I don't take that offensively.

You weren't meant to.

Thank you for telling me. Keep that courage, Angel. Got a GF yet?

Not yet, but soon, hopefully. Find me one at that fancy school of yours. :D

Haha, I'll try. Gotta go, Angel. Bye :) I love you.

I love you, too, Blaine. Talk to you soon? (By the way, if we dated, wouldn't that make us beards?)

You got it. (And yeah, I guess so. But... I'm out, so that wouldn't make sense.)

(Thank you for enlightening me on the situation.)

Blaine chuckled, shut off his phone, and headed to class. He was going to throw out his coffee, but he noticed that most of the students in his Physics class were drinking some drink, mostly coffee, as well, so he kept it and sat down at his labeled seat. Labeled seats, really? This school really is fancy. At orientation, Blaine had gone through the usual home room stuff, so he didn't have to go to home room that morning.

As the class began, Blaine was assigned a textbook and work started right away. The work at this school was much harder but, thanks to Dalton, he was used to it. When the teacher started going over clubs, he got excited, noticing there was a glee club. It was audition only, but he thought he might try anyways.

Blaine was so into his lessons that he didn't notice the note appear on the side of his desk.

End Notes: Angel's backkk! :D She's got a purpose, but that shall all be revealed later. -menical laugh-Patience, grasshoppers.Anyways, review please as always <3 :)Boxofpeeps.tumblr.comLove, Jess
