Author's Notes: Hi! I hope you like this story. :D Please, if you know how to Beta, message me. I'd like to start having a Beta. Thanks :3

"Blaine Anderson. You're hot, I'm hot, call me," Becky Jackson winked and handed a piece of paper to the curly haired boy standing before her. She patted his football pads and skipped away in her Cheerios uniform.

Blaine turned to his best friend, Kurt Hummel, who was holding back laughter. "Dude, that did not just happen."

"I told you, Blaine, we seriously can't deny that all the girls want us." As Kurt made this statement, he waved at a few girls who giggled and whispered about how good they thought he looked in his football uniform.

"Don't get me wrong, man, I like being us. But don't you get tired of it?" Blaine sighed and pushed open the locker room door.  "I do."

Kurt pulled open his locker next to Blaine. "I guess, but it's better than being a loser," he laughed and nodded his head towards a boy in a wheelchair who was being pushed back and forth between two football players.

"Yeah, you're right..." Blaine let his voice trail off.

"So, you think Coach Beiste is gonna kick our asses again today?" Kurt slammed his locker shut and pulled on his football pants. Blaine was already dressed and waiting for Kurt to tie his shoes.

"Maybe, but I don't really care. At least it's Friday. Do we have any parties to go to this weekend?" Blaine was about to help Kurt up, but he realized how that would look and stopped.

"No we don't. Thank God. I just wanna hang out this weekend. Are you still coming over?" Kurt finally stood up and put his helmet under his arm. They headed out to the field and began to stretch, waiting for practice to start.

"Yeah, sure. You just want me to come over after school? I can stop by my place and I'll pick up clothes and stuff." Blaine sighed as the Coach instructed that they were to run the entire length of field three times. He stood up and began to jog next to Kurt.

"Yeah, that's cool. I'll go home and tell Carole you're coming over." Blaine didn't respond. The two just kept running, side by side.

On their last lap, Blaine finally spoke. "I am so glad the game got canceled tonight. I don't think I would've been up for it. I was up until like two in the morning studying for my Spanish test."

Kurt chuckled a bit. "Why did you study? It's just Spanish."

"Because if I fail, I'll have to quit football. God knows I'm not doing that! Plus, my parents are on my case about ‘working harder and being the man they know I am.'" Blaine deepened his voice to imitate his parents and made quotes with his fingers.

Kurt laughed lightly and bent over as they stopped running. "That Mr. Schuester guy is being a dick to everyone lately. It's probably because his stupid team of losers isn't doing well. What is that glee thing called? One Direction?"

"Kurt," Blaine chuckled, "That's a boy band. I think they're the New Millenium or something. They're totally gay, though."

"It's the New Directions, Blaine," Finn came up from behind. "And we're doing just fine. Kurt, Coach Beiste said she doesn't want to continue practice anymore. Do you need a ride home?"

"No, I drove today," Kurt stood up from his bent over position. "Thanks though, Finn."

"You should really think about joining the glee club though, Kurt," Finn eyed Blaine before finishing his sentence, "I've heard you singing in the shower and you're really good." He patted his step-brother's shoulder.

"Shut up, Finn!" Kurt pushed him a bit, but he was already walking to his car. He would never understand his step-brother's attachment to that club and his stupid little girlfriend, Rachel Berry. They New Directions were a waste of time and school budget, in his eyes.

Blaine grabbed one of Kurt's shoulders. "Hey, man, calm down. He was just joking around."

"I will never understand how you can be so calm around him. He's like twice your size," Kurt laughed a bit.

"Oh, so we're making short jokes again?" Blaine played offended, but he knew everything Kurt said was true. Finn was a giant in everyone's eyes, which made Blaine seem even more like a hobbit. He never worried about it, though, because Kurt and Blaine were the best football players on the team. Everyone knew so. Blaine didn't have to worry about Finn threatening him.

Neither one of the boys spoke again until they reached their cars, which were parked in the first two spots in the lot. There weren't supposed to be reserved spots, but it was an unspoken rule at McKinley High School that Blaine Anderson and Kurt Hummel always parked in those spots. The spots even remained empty on days that one of the boys didn't drive or wasn't at school. If any new student tried to park in the spot, they were put in their place. It wasn't usually Blaine or Kurt that did it, either. It was usually their adoring female fans who, despite what it may seem like, could be pretty intimidating if you threatened one of their "babies."

"I'll see you later, man," Blaine waved Kurt off and hopped into his royal blue Mustang convertible.

Kurt waved through the window of his own vehicle, a black Toyota Tundra, and backed out of his spot. He arrived at his house and sat on the couch watching football with his Dad while waiting for Blaine to get there.

Blaine got his stuff to sleep over at Kurt's from his house and returned to his truck. On the drive to Kurt's house, he passed the school once more and started thinking about their earlier conversation. Just that week he'd gotten three new phone numbers from girls, girls who he knew would be devastated when they never got a call back, and he didn't think he could handle that for much longer. He knew that Kurt felt the same way, even though the other boy liked to hide his feelings. They needed to come up with a solution. They couldn't spend their senior year hating themselves for breaking many girls' hearts.

When Blaine finally arrived, he walked in the house without knocking. It was common that both boys did this at each other's places when they were expected.

"Hello, Blaine," Burt looked up from his paper and smiled. "Kurt just went to his bedroom."

"Thanks, Burt," Blaine waved his hand towards Burt and headed down the stairs to Kurt's basement bedroom. "Hey man," he greeted Kurt, who was playing a video game. "What's up?"

Kurt paused the game and held a controller up to Blaine. "Hey. Not much. You up for a game of Call of Duty?"

"Yeah, sure," Blaine sat down in the bean bag chair next to Kurt and took the PS3 remote. He was about to tell Kurt that they needed to talk about something, but Kurt spoke first.

"Dude, we need to figure something out about all those girls at school. I don't want to spend my senior year prying girls off my ankles," Kurt sighed as he lost a life in the game. His eyes didn't leave the screen.

Blaine concentrated on the game as well. "Yeah, I was going to say that, too. What should we do?"

Kurt sat back in his chair, paused the game, and looked and Blaine, "I don't know. I've been trying to think of solutions all afternoon, but I haven't thought of anything."

"We could think while we play," Blaine suggested. Kurt nodded and they played COD in silence.

Blaine's mind began to drift off, thinking of the time he went to an amusement park and saw two boys holding hands. Everyone was glaring and laughing at them, but, obviously, no girls walked up and threw themselves at them.

He thought of single, flamboyant gay guys, who rarely had girls rushing up to them, either. They had the very few, who were desperate for a different kind of guy, but he figured he could handle a girl every once in a while.

"Ugh, my controller died," Blaine sighed, standing up and plugging the controller in the charger. Kurt stood up, turned off the game, and plugged his in, too. "Think of anything?" He stretched and looked at Kurt. He wouldn't say his idea unless he had to.

"Not really. It's just a really complicated situation. I thought about saying we had girlfriends that were long distance or at a different school, but that wouldn't hold them back for long. Did you?" Kurt sat on his bed and Blaine changed into his sweatpants and a tee shirt.

"Actually, I did, but it's pretty crazy..." Blaine hesitated to tell Kurt of his idea.

"What is it? An idea is better than nothing," Kurt insisted and began to change, too.

"Do you remember when we went to Six Flags last summer and saw that flamboyant gay guy and the two boyfriends walking? People kept making fun of them but no girls bothered them. Of course, the single guys occasionally get girls around them, but we could handle that. Maybe we'd even like one of them or-..."

Kurt interrupted Blaine's rambling. "Wait, what? You're suggesting that we turn into flamboyant single gay guys? Nobody is going to buy that, I don't think, and I don't really want to act like a girl and make my voice all high pitched. There is no way that I'm wearing some of those clothes, either."

"You're right, I guess. It was a stupid idea. Don't even think about it anymore, it was dumb, forget it." Blaine rubbed the back of his neck the way he so often did in awkward or embarrassing situations.

"Wait," Kurt held a finger to his chin as though he were thinking. "What if we pretend to be dating? We don't have to change the way we act because we can just say our friendship was a cover to how we really feel about each other! We don't have to if you don't want to, but it could work." He jumped up from his bed.

"That's actually a really good idea," Blaine thought about it. It would be pretty believable. He'd seen movies about breaking the stereotype and stuff. "Yeah, that could work!"

"So you're up for it?" Kurt stepped over and got closer to Blaine than they usually were.

"Yeah," Blaine nervously rubbed the back of his neck again. Kurt pulled the hand down and took it in his. He took Blaine's other hand and leaned forward into a kiss that was both warm and nervous. Blaine brought his free hand up to cup Kurt's cheek and Kurt released Blaine's hand, wrapping his arms around Blaine's neck. He began to massage Blaine's neck with his thumb when they heard a loud sound from upstairs. They both jumped and pulled away.

"You okay, Dad?" Kurt shouted upstairs.

"It was me, I'm fine!" They heard Finn's voice. Kurt rolled his eyes and mumbled something about being clumsy.

"So, um, I, uh, I think that'll be pretty convincing," Blaine avoided rubbing the back of his neck again and kept his hands casually covering the area below his waistline, not sure why he was feeling the way he was, but thankful he was wearing loose sweatpants.

"Y-yeah, I think so, too," Kurt's cheeks were pink and he turned around to avoid showing Blaine.

"Should we make some rules or something?" Blaine sat on the bed, hopefully concealing any proof of his unexpected enjoyment of the kiss. This fake relationship thing might not be such a good thing, after all.

"Uh, yeah, I guess... Like what?" Kurt sat down cross legged next to him.

"Well, we can't fall in love with one another," Blaine raised an eyebrow jokingly. He was mostly saying the statement to himself, though, because after what had just happened, he was sure he might need reminding of that.

"Duh," Kurt pushed him playfully. Blaine fell over on the bed dramatically, laughing, but sat up when Kurt continued. "We can't get girlfriends. Is that okay?"

"Yeah, that's cool with me," Blaine answered. He was telling the truth. There were no girls at McKinley or, well, anywhere, that he'd ever been too interested in. The only girlfriend he'd ever had was in 8th grade and she moved to Montana. Kurt had gotten a girlfriend their freshman year, but she started hanging out with drug addicts and ended up getting kicked out of school. Her parents stopped the relationship.

"Okay, well, I guess we can just hold hands in the hallways and stuff and kiss sometimes. We should do it when we're out, too, to seem convincing." Kurt chuckled a little. "I meant out in public. But I guess we'll have to be ‘out,'" he made quotations with his fingers, "too."

Blaine laughed lightly. "Wait," a concerned expression fell onto his face and his brows furrowed, "Do we have to tell our parents?"

"Not yet, I don't think," Kurt shrugged.

"What about Finn?" Blaine gestured upstairs, where random sounds were still being made.

"We can bribe Finn with cookies or something so he doesn't tell," Kurt suggested.

"Okay, so, I think that's it," Kurt pulled out a notepad and wrote all of the information down. "Boyfriends?" He held out his hand for Blaine to shake.

"Deal. Boyfriends." Blaine shook Kurt's hand and couldn't stop himself from thinking about how soft it was.
