"Do you want to go onto that one next?" Katy asked as she pointed up at the ride spinning in the air as the seats turned upside down.

Jesabelle's heart raced as she watched the ride move. She hasn't been on many rides and the idea of turning upside down like that scared her. She didn't want to upset her friend though. This was supposed to be their greatest week ever.

"Maybe later..." Jesabelle replied, "Save the best for last!"

Katy nodded, "You're right. We'll go on the Viking's boat."

Jesabelle gulped. She hasn't been on that one either but it didn't look as scary as the last so she agreed to go on it with her friend. She just hoped she didn't have to go on to the previously suggested one.

"Blaine?" Kurt called up the stairs as he cleaned out a bottle.

"What?"

"Did you pick up the formula I asked you to get?"

Blaine jolted down the stairs, "No, I didn't. I'm sorry. I was focused on picking up some of the other groceries I forgot to check the baby aisle for the formula."

Kurt threw his head back and groaned, "How am I going to feed the triplets if they don't have their bottles?"

Blaine shrugged.

"You know what? Watch the kids, I'll go out and get it myself." Without saying much else Kurt handed Blaine the bottle and rag and began heading out to the driveway. Blaine stood in the empty kitchen motionless, holding the bottle in one hand and the slightly damp rag in the other until he heard the whining of one of the triplets. Blaine sighed and headed upstairs.

"All right, Jessie, just one more ride! We have to go on it!"

Jesabelle's heart felt like it stopped. She closed her eyes and shook her head.

Katy sighed, "Sometimes I think you're no fun." She pouted.

Jesabelle shook her head again, "I'm just really scared to go on it, Katy." She told her friend, "Can you understand that?"

"Why do you have to be such a chicken?"

"Why do you have to be such a priss?"

Katy gasped. Jesabelle immediately felt guilty for what she had said.

"Where's my mom?" Katy asked. Not to Jesabelle, not to herself, rhetorically.

"She said she'll meet us at the front gate at ten." Jesabelle still replied.

Katy glared at her, "It was rhetorical, Jesabelle." She told her.

Jesabelle shrugged. She wanted to turn and storm off but she knew Katy was her ride home. Well, Katy's parents were anyway, "When we get back to your place I wanna call my dads to take me home." She was holding back tears.

They said nothing more as they walked toward the gate, forgetting the ride, where they met up with Katy's mom. Katy sighed before she finally said something, "Call Jesabelle's parents. She wants to go home."

Jesabelle crossed her arms and let a few tears trickle down her face. Katy's mom bent down to be at the same eye-level of her daughter's friend, "Are you all right, Jessie?" She asked the crying girl.

Jesabelle shook her head, "I don't want to talk about it." She looked slightly at Katy, "I just wan to go home."

The drive home was mostly silent except for the moment when Katy's mother was speaking to Blaine on the phone and the small talk she tried with the two girls who sat as far away from each other as possible in the back seat of the car. They stopped at Katy's house real quick to pick up Jesabelle's stuff and drop off Katy then Jessie was taken home.
