He sang.
Sang for joy, sang for money.
He sang.
The dark head of curls lifted slightly as he heard the slight ting of a coin dropping into the hat he had laid in front of him. In return of the dime, Blaine nodded towards the gentleman with a slight smile before returning to his singing. It was getting cold. He knew he should be heading back soon but... Just a couple more dollars and then he could... sort something out. Yeah.
Business was slow that night for Blaine and he waited and waited, but to no avail. Shoving the second hand loose change into his pocked, he placed his head on top of his uncontrollable curls and headed back. It was quite a walk back to his flat but he'd probably make it before the moon was up. He didn't mind the walk back though. Mostly because he was used to it, but also because he found the world at it's most beautiful whilst the sun was setting. Blaine didn't know why, but the thought of the city laying down to sleep made him smile. Inside and out.
The elevator was broken down once again, so he had to take the stairs. He longed for his head. He'd been out since 8 and it was at least 9pm now. The watch he wore was pretty much useless seen as the battary had died years ago but it was a gift... One of his lasts. And Blaine Anderson never threw away a gift. He may not be living a very straight up right life but he still had his manners.
Thinking back, he actually had no idea how he got himself into this mess. When he'd left highschool he had his friends. His boyfriend. His familey. And then...? Well, then the fame got to his head he guessed. After leaving the Warblers he got a record deal. His first single became number 1 in the charts and he was recognised for a while. The fame, the money, the freedom. He took advantage of it. Some guy at a big party got him on some kind of tablet, which turned out to have been ecstacy, and then he was hooked. Not purley on that drug, but on trying. Each day was thought of as a new adventure. It was all fun and games until it wasn't. Kurt left him, His manager dropped him, the public frowned upon him, his family disowned him, and his friends pittied him... He'd lost it all whilst in a daze of drink drugs and sex.
Blaine Anderson would give anything to go back to how he was before that. Before everything turned sour. And he was going to try his very hardest to do that. Anyone who knew Blaine would be able to tell you that once he set his heart on something, there was no stopping the eager curly haired boy.
